Kate is now improving,
I had increased the Moonlight sprinting to 1 hour, I had not thought, she would be able to do it, but she proved me wrong.
The early morning jogging had helped her a lot.
We head back to the Pack house,
Then I sensed Louis wolf is unsettled
He had been worried about Diana’s condition.
They had been through a lot together
Hello Loius what is going on, I mind-linked him.
It has happened again, he replied amidst sobs.
Not again, I muttered and took off immediately.
By the time I got to the Pack house, he had carried Diana to the Pack clinic.
Louis was sitting at the entrance of the pack house, his head between his hands.
I moved closer to him, and he raised up his head.
He couldn’t held back his tears,
I moved closer to him and draw him up and hugged him.
Where is she, I asked.
She is at the Clinic.
We both head to the clinic,
The pack members had gathered in front of the clinic,
they must have been gotten to know when Louis was carrying Diana to the Clinic.
They showed their concern as we pass,
I and Louis nodded in acknowledgement.
As we get to the clinic, Doctor Collins is prepping Diana for surgery,
She had suffered Miscarriage, and this time around it was incomplete.
So they had to get the remaining out.
Louis placed his head on my shoulder.
Let it out I said, rubbing his back.
This will be the fifth time Diana would be having a miscarriage.
They had tried different solutions but none has helped.
They tried some herbs,
Diana being a nurse had also tried different solutions to
solve this issue.
She and Louis are tired already.
But they really want to have their own pups.
And I had encourage both of them not to give up on trying.
I don’t want to lose her, Louis muttered.
We won’t, I said comforting Louis.
Kate and Lia rushed in then I remembered I had left them without uttering a word.
Kate moved closer and I could see the worry in her face, she looked to the bed and she sees it was Diana.
She then moved closer to the Nurses and Sir Gareth who are preparing the herbs.
The doctors took Diana into the operating room,
Then after some hours Doctor Collins came out,
He came closer to us.
Louis raised up his head and wait anxiously for Doctor Collins to move closer.
We are done and she should wake up anytime soon, he said.
Okay thank you, I responded.
What happened this time around, Louis asked Doctor Collins,
Just like the other miscarriages,
Nurse Diana has a weak uterus which is not supporting the growth of the baby, he explained.
But how about the solutions that have been applied why aren’t they working, and also why does this one lead to an incomplete miscarriage, I asked.
The foetus are twins this time around and only one has successfully expelled and the other one is still in the uterus so need to get it out as soon as possible, Doctor Collins explained.
Louis became more sad as he heard he had just lost two babies and not one this time around, he groaned in pain.
We would keep on trying our best, and I know the Moon Goddess will guide us, Doctor Collins responded.
And how do you intend to resolve this now, I asked.
We would be using a surgical method to get the remaining tissues out, he answered.
And he left.
You should get some rest, I said to Louis.
I will when Diana wakes up.
No you will go rest right now, I said.
I led Louis to one of the beds and have him rest on it while I sat down beside him.
We will figure this out together, I said to him.
We might not be having our own child.
I don’t think I can risk getting her pregnant anymore, Louis said
I would rather not have pups than lose her to trying, he added.
Don’t say that, you will never lose her and you will have your own pups, I interjected.
And I know Diana would never stop trying to,
I’m sure one she gets back on her feet, she will continue seeking out another solution options, I said.
I just tired and scared, he replied.
Since Louis and Diana bonded ten years ago, they had been having issues having pups,
And Louis have always been scared and worried about losing Diana,
But this time around, has scared her more,
As it results in an incomplete miscarriage,
Which lead to operating on Diana and getting the foetus out
Diana and I are the only family Louis had, and losing any of us isn’t what I see him enduring.
He is sleeping already, Kate’s voice jolted me out of my thought.
Yes he is, he haven’t rest since, I replied.
But I was with Diana this morning, and she had told me her sickness was only a fever and nothing more, Kate said.
Yeah it was supposed to be just a pregnancy Fever before the unfortunate incident happened, I responded.
Preg- Pregnant, Kate said with her eyes widening.
Oh Moon Goddess, Diana had just lost a baby, she said.
Two babies actually, I said.
Oh Moon Goddess, I am so sorry to hear that, Kate said.
I gestured to her to come sit beside me,
What caused it, she asked as she took her sit beside.
Diana has a weak uterus and which does not support her from carrying a foetus.
And different solutions I’ve been applied to solve this but it’s to no avail, I explained.
Different solutions, when you say different solutions, that means this isn’t the first time she would be having a miscarriage, she said curiosity filling her voice.
Yes, this is the fifth time, I said.
Fif- Fifth , she yelled beneath her breath in order not wake Louis and attract attention.
This is too much, They’ve gone both gone through a lot, she said
Yeah they have, I replied.
After some minutes,
Why don’t you go freshen up and have a change of clothes, I said to Kate, who still have her training gear on.
Oh yeah, I had even forgotten I am still putting on my training gear, she said.
Let me freshen up and come back now.
She stood up and take her leave.
