Kate’s POV
We arrived at the Bloodmoon Pack
It was already late in the night.
Most of the Area were covered in Trees but I could see lights shining afar from different spots in the dense forestry.
They must be from the houses of the Pack Members.
There are guards stationed at intervals from the pack border as we drove by,
All bowing to greet their King
I didn’t notice all this in my past life, since I had blacked out any only found myself in the cell when I woke up.
After an hour of driving since we crossed into the Bloodmoon Pack, the Car finally pulled up in the driveway of a big building with about 4 floors.
It’s night already but the light in the pack house lit up everywhere that everything around is visible.
In the Driveway there are cars parked and at the centre front is a Big Fountain
I don’t really know much about cars but I could tell these are expensive.
Dimitri got down from the car without speaking a word to me.
We had journeyed in silence after the whole escapade that had happened earlier,
I opened the door and get down as well.
I went to the back of the car and opened the Booth then grabbed my Backpack which I had dropped their earlier.
Two maids came to my side to help me with my luggage but I objected
Oh thank you, this is all I’ve got to carry, I said with a smile.
They both nodded and stepped aside for to pass and they walked closely behind me.
I climbed up the stairs.
One of the Maids opened the door and I stepped in.
Wow, I said beneath my breath.
The first floor is an open space.
The walls were decorated with painting which I will definitely take a look at later in the day.
The floor was carpeted a deep Blue which compensate the Red-wine Brick color of the wall
I looked around at the beauty of the space.
This way ma’am, one of the maid said.
Dimitri was no where to be found,
Where is the Alpha, I asked.
He has gone to his room, the maid replied.
But not to worry you’re in good hands, she added.
Okay, I said.
This floor houses the Ceremonial ground which is this open space and the behind it is the Hall for the Alpha meeting.
The second floor is for the Beta Louis and his Family.
The Third floor is for you and the Alpha
And the Fourth floor is a small antique which is the Alpha’s Private Space.
We climb up the stairs as they are explaining.
Tomorrow we can take you round the pack, if you’d want to.
Okay, I said.
May I know your names, I asked.
Ofcourse, they responded.
I am Sia the maid who have been talking since said,
And she is Ruby, she said pointing to the other maid
So Ruby, where is my Room, I asked.
The Third floor beside the Alpha’s Chamber.
That is a long stairs to climb, I exclaimed.
Yeah, Let me have this. Ruby said.
Grabbing my Backpack from me.
This time around I didn’t object,
I’m already getting tired,
and I don’t think I can carry that backpack up till the Third floor, when I have maids that can help me.
I released the backpack to her, and grabbed my Dress up to allow me walk more freely.
We climbed up the stairs in silent.
My supposed mate had abandoned me to be taken care of by his Maid.
I didn’t let it bother me, as I have a lot to deal with.
I need to study more,
Do personal training,
Eat more nutritious food and then take my herbs.
I need my strength and transformation ability back before the full moon.
So I need to focus and not appear weak to Dimitri and his Pack members.
Here we’re, I heard Sia said
Which makes me snap.
I was in deep thought that I didn’t even noticed we are already on the third small.
Sia opened the door and held it for me to step in.
It was a huge room with a large Bed at the centre.
In one corner of the room is small table and a chair,
Which will be good for studying and having an early morning coffee.
Compare to my small room and my small mattress on the ground back in my Father’s pack.
I was awestruck one again as I never expected to have this huge room to myself,
Especially when my first experience in this very pack was full of misery and torture.
As my mind want to dive into the memories of my past life, I quickly snap out of it.
I don’t need those memories now, I need to stay focused right now.
Those memories are only stuck with me anyways.
I know who my enemies are already and I need to defend myself from them,
That can only be possible if I gain my powers back.
And I need to stay focused to get that.
I walked up to the Window side,
The fresh air rush over me, calming my nerves as I breathe in and out.
The bath has been prepared for you, Ruby called out.
I walked back into the room and I saw another bigger Table and Chair at the other corner of the room.
On the table, are meals prepared for me.
My stomach rumbled, at the sight of foods.

Okay thank you, I said.
Ruby and Sia stepped out of the room and closed the door behind them.
I walked up to the door and locked it from the inside.
I walked back to my bed and jumped on it.
It was so soft and warm.
I love this, I whispered.
I stood up to and walked up to the table filled with foods.
There are different varieties of food,
On the table is a grilled chicken breasts, Beef Stew, Meatloaf, Juicy Burgers to mention a few.
Where will I start from, I thought to myself.
I have never been served a food like this,
I only eat leftovers just like the rest of the servants at my Father’s pack
Oh I enjoyed good meals too in my second chance life as Kayden’s Wife
But everything has changed now.
I grabbed the grilled Chicken breast,
I ate as much as I could,
There is no one with me in the room,
So I don’t really care how I am eating.
I stood up after, I have had enough.
I pulled of my clothes and walked straight to the bathroom.
I entered the bathtub, which had been prepared for me,
And immerse myself in the warm water.
After a few minutes that I had washed myself,
I got out of the Bathtub and grabbed the towel and stepped out of the Bathroom and went straight to bed, without attempting to put on any clothes.

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and calm.
The sun was up already, no one had come to wake me up.
I stood up from the bed,
Opened the closet and grabbed my backpack.
I had forgotten to take the Dragon’s Breath herb yesterday night.
I brought out the Moonstone Mints and Shape shifters Sage.
Took a portion of it and make a juice out of it.
I gulped it down and set down my cup.
I felt the same way I had felt yesterday morning, but this time around.
My mind feels clearer, I felt calmer and stronger.
I went into the bathroom and took a shower.
Then get dressed in one of the new clothes my father had gotten for me.
I locked my Backpack and placed it back into the Closet.
I pressed the button beside my Bed.
Few meetings later, I heard a knock and I stepped to the door and opened it.
Sia and Ruby came in and said Good morning Luna, they greeted with a bow.
Good morning, I responded.
Feeling all proud of myself as I heard the word Luna come out of their mouth.
Where is the Alpha I asked,
He must be in his chamber, Ruby said.
Okay, I said and stepped out leaving them to clean up the Leftovers.
I knocked on Dimitri’s door but I heard no response.
I tried opening the door and it was locked.
Then I turned back, as I was about going back to my room.
My eyes swayed to the stairway that leads to the fourth floor, the maid had mentioned it to be Dimitri’s Private Space.
I followed up through the stairs,
The fourth floor is a small area compared to the other floors.
There are no specific doors except corners and demarcations.
I strode in deeper into the floor.
As I progress in my pace, I heard rumbling and then a soft moaning.
I followed the sound,
And just in front of me is Dimitri with his Trousers down.
In his arm is a woman with a blond hair her legs wrapped around his waist.
I stopped abruptly and shocked.
I stood still as I look at Dimitri in his eyes.
What are you doing here, he said in his cold voice.
Sorry, I said with my shaken voice as I turned back.
And rushed down the stairs.
That must be the b**ch that had slit my throat, I thought to myself
The whole thing is beginning to become clear to me now.
But why did he have me bring me here,
When he has no use for me,
I don’t know why, I felt disappointed and betrayed
Maybe because I had found out he is My Second Chance Mate before I died in my Second Chance life
I was in my deep thought when Ruby called on me, Luna
I jolted.
I composed myself, please where is Beta Louis I asked.
He is at the training yard, she responded.
