Kate’s POV
I sat down at the pack garden, watching my favourite flowers dance to the sunshine.
Madam Elena’s word playing in my head,
I had actually thought the Moon goddess had brought me someone I could call a mother,
But she was only helping me to erase her guilt.
She had made me suffered the cruelty she could put a stop to just because my Father disobeyed her.
And because my Mother was a human.
So she also see me as a good for nothing Half Breed who had come to soil their family bloodline.
She was only helping helping me because the Moon goddess had given me a third chance, a rear chance which had only occur 20, 000 years ago.
What if I wasn’t given a second chance, or a third chance
I would have been dead, just like that.
I pondered,
My heart feeling so heavy.
I heard a rumbling in my stomach
Which reminded me I hadn’t eaten anything yet.
I stood up and head to the kitchen to grab something to eat before the ceremony starts.
As I entered the kitchen, I saw Lilah
I had not seen her since I woke up to this third life I am living.
I greeted her with a smile,
And she responded, looking a little bit confused as to why I am smiling.
Oh sorry, I said beneath my breath
As I remembered anyone I had met in my past life from the day I woke up back to till the day I died, would not have the memories as it has never happened.

I went further into the kitchen,
I saw the remaining sandwiches and grab some in a plate, then head back to my room.

It evening and the ceremony is about to start.
I stood up from my mattress to get dressed.

I open my Backpack and took out my purple dress, I had chosen earlier for this ceremony.
I wore my dress and styled my long hair into a ponytail.
Put on one of the two sandals I had received with the clothes.
I looked to my room one more time, and said goodbye.
I carried my backpack with me.
I had packed the things I would be needing.
I walked straight to the Ceremonial ground, everyone already in place.
The air is alive with anticipation,
as if the essence of the forest has conspired to create a breathtaking beautiful setting for the mating ceremony.
The Security guards are in numbers as other ally pack had sent in their army to support our pack.
I looked around to spot a place I can keep my Backpack till the end of the ceremony.
Keeping it in my room is no option for me,
I don’t trust Celine not to go and ransack my stuffs behind my back
Especially now that she would see me putting on a new dress and heels.
As I stood at the entrance to the ceremonial ground trying to figure out where to keep it.

I arranged my cloth well, and walked slowly to the front where Pack Elders, my Father, Dimitri and other notable members were standing.
I just want to get over with the ceremony.
This is the third time I am going through this ceremony, even though the first time had been in chains.
The second one had took another turn with Kayden claiming me
Now the third one would go as my father had planned,
Complete the mating ceremony and sealing the Alliance Agreement.
I faced Dimitri who is also standing beside my Father.
His Eyes were glowing in red just as the beast he is.
It scares me but I uphold my confidence.
I remembered Madam Elena’s word,
“Don’t appear weak” she had said.
I raised my chin up with a smile on my lips,
And looked straight into his eyes.
I remain calm and cool.
The herbs I had drank this morning has been helping me.
I sense a little bit of surprise in his eyes but I don’t let that to bother me.
The Pack Elders started with their chanting, of which I am tired of already.
I just want this ceremony and the whole thing to be over.
As then the chanting stopped, finally they are done.
One of the Elders who seem to be their spokeperson stood and asked,
Did you Dimitri Walker take and accept Kate Stiles of Twilight Fang Pack as your Bonded Mate?
Yes I do, he said.
And Did you Kate Stiles take and accept Dimitri Walker of Bloodmoon Pack as your Bonded Mate?
Yes I do, I responded with a smile
We both faced each other, still with a smile on my face. I stretched out my hand for him to grabbed it.
He ignored my hand and faced the people,
And I followed suit
I didn’t let his behavior bother me one bit.
Since my goal is not to his true mate,
So I am focus on accomplishing my goal,
Which is to use my power as his Luna to make those who has wronged me pay for their crime.
As I looked to my father’s side and bow my head a little.
My Father looked at me, as If trying figure out why I was happy rather than being sad to have been mated to this cruel Lycan King.
But he just looked away and faced Dimitri back.
Since I have been bonded together with Dimitri now, I am the Luna of Bloodmoon Pack.
The two guards of Bloodmoon Pack quickly came to my side
Dimitri, My Father, Alpha’s from other parks and their Betas moved to the other part of the Ceremonial ground which have been arranged for the Alliance signing.
In a normal mating ceremony, the Mates are supposed to perform a bonding ritual.
But since this is just a Trade by barter ceremony no such thing is happening.
I wonder why the Lycan King would want to seal an alliance with my father in exchange for me, when there are other stronger Princess out there.
Well no sane father would want to give out their daughter to such a beast.
And since I am no use to my father, he doesn’t care what my fate in the hand of the Lycan Beast would be.
I grabbed a chair and sat down on one chair.
I am tired of standing,
I called on one of the maid and ordered for a drink.
Even if I don’t get to use my power and privilege as the Alpha’s daughter in my own pack.
Now I have the the chance to use my power and privilege as the Luna to the most powerful Lycan King who is here for a ceremony and sealing the Alliance deals.
I smiled to myself as I am deep in my own thoughts,
The maid came back with three cup of Red wine,
She handed me one,
One of the guards grabbed it from me and gave it to her to have a sip of it first.
I looked at him and smiled
She can’t possibly think of poisoning the Luna of another pack, I said.
She took a sip as she was instructed, then handed the wine back to me.
She gave the other two cups to the guards standing beside me.
All the pack members are already merrying, some are dancing,
Some are eating while some are gossiping.
Those who had left earlier to the other side of the Ceremonial ground to do the Alliance sealing process came back.
My Father called on the attention of everyone.
And he made a declaration of the Alliance publicly.
The pack members chant with joy,
And everyone continued feasting.
Dimitri looked to my direction and nodded to the guards.
Let’s get going my Luna, one of the guards said.
I stood up and follow them,
Madam Elena met us at the Entrance and handed over my Backpack to one of the guards.
She came to my side and gave me a hug.
I’m sorry for neither defending you nor cautioning your father in how he maltreats you as an old aunty should have,
We will rewrite the story together as I am with you on this journey till my last breathe
I hugged her back and thanked her
You can always send for the Herbs if you can’t find them at the Bloodmoon Pack, She said
And remember, “Don’t appear Weak” She added.

Dimitri said in his cold voice and enter the car.
I grabbed my Backpack from the guard carrying it and shove it into the cars Booth.
I entered the car, and sat beside Dimitri.
The Driver ignites the engine and pull out of the Driveway.
The journey to my new home, my new life began.
I started humming my favorite song.
Silence, Dimitri shouted.
I turned to face him and my eyes was locked with his,
His eyes were glowing in Red like a beast who is red to hunt and kill.
I got scared and stilled as he leaned closer and sniffs in.
What is he doing,
I hope he doesn’t eat me up before I even get the chance to get my revenge.
He will withdraw his head and turned his head to face the other direction.
I’d better remain silent if I want to live to see the next day, I thought to myself.
