Kate’s POV
“As I sneak back to the park house,”
“My heart pounding in my chest, its loud cadence making my bones to vibrate in my body. ”
” I crept opening the door, peeping in to see if no one is in the hall way. ”
” I stepped in and closed the door gently behind me.”
” Tiptoed back to my room careful without making a sound.”
” Feeling excited I wasn’t caught in the act as I lay down on my bed, and flashback to what had transpired between I and Kayden.”
I am now bonded to Kayden, I felt a sudden surge in my heart that felt like an electric shock, I will be getting married to Kayden.
I could feel Kayden’s touches, his kisses and I was excited how he had made me felt earlier.
I sat up reminiscing over my action, will this really work, will kayden really be my escape plan from the gruesome torments that had taken my life.
I wondered what my father will do to me and Kayden for going against him.
Then I remembered how Kayden had chosen Celine over me in my past life, as I also wondered what could have caused him to act like that,
And a part of me wished I had heard him out when he had came to explain himself a night before I was traded away, maybe the information would have been useful for me in this second life i am living now.
As my mind kept playing different scenarios in my head and I am fully lost in my thoughts, I was brought back with a loud this on my door.
“Wakeup Omega, I heard, that was Miss Alice, the Park house head servant, she has been serving as the park house maid before I was born.”
To gain the favours of my step mother, she maltreats me and treats me as one of the parks servant and since I am also leaving as a servant in the park, rather than a princess, she wakes me in the manner as the servants.
I stood up from my bed, put on a lilac turtle neck blouse to cover the mark on my neck and a then a brown pleating skirt and stepped out to join other servants in carrying out various morning chores as well as prepare the ceremonial ground for the bonding ceremony that will take place in the evening.

As the Evening approaches, all hands are on deck as everyone is busy putting things in order, as the dignitaries from other parks arrives. There are Alphas and Betas, the wolf council elders as my father is also one of the strong member of the council.
I am inside getting ready as my Step mother, and Celine her daughter bang open my door, which cause me to fidget.
“Finally getting rid of the Stupid weak half Breed, she said with a smirk on her face.”
And Celine gave a mockery laugh”
” Looking at me with disgust in their eyes as I stood there, my hands shaking, my face pink as i put my face down to avoid eye contact with them”
Celine grabbed my Dress that I had already laid smoothly on my bed, dropped it on the floor and trample on it, and walk past me.”
A tear form in my eyes as I stood still like a beating cat,”
And then a layer of excitement form in my stomach as I remembered I and Kayden’s plan of getting married instead of being traded away.”
” All this will stop once I got married to one of the most powerful Beta in the park as well as the second in command to my father, I thought to myself.”
After a while, they stepped out leaving me to pick my trampled dress.
As they stepped out and banged the door behind them.
I picked up my cloth dusting it and lay it back on my bed.
As I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my ceremonial robes, I couldn’t help but think about the journey that had brought me to this moment. The Lithia ritual, the visions, the nightmares – it all seemed so surreal now, like a dream that I couldn’t wake up from.
But I knew that this was real, that the fate that awaited me was very real indeed. And I knew that I had to be brave, for myself and for Kayden, who had risked everything to help me.

As I stepped out in my navy blue long dress into the ceremonial ground which was being held in the pack’s sacred clearing, surrounded by ancient trees and the watchful eyes of our ancestors. which have been decorated with green lights, casting a glow over the proceedings, and the air was thick with tension.
I saw my Father standing, a look of pride and satisfaction on his face, and I knew that he had no idea of what was about to happen, and beside him is the Gruesome Lycan King Dimitri, flashes of his torture came running back as I stepped forward and hope and pray in my heart that our plan worked out, because having to be bonded to this monster and be locked inside that cell to be treated like an animal with cruelty is not an option for me.
As I moved closer to my Father, I looked around in search of Kayden, as my heart raised, and series of questions keeps flooding into my heart.
Has Kayden bailed out on me? When is he planning of announcing to everyone that he has claimed me as his Mate? How exactly is he planning on doing that?
The ceremony began, the pack’s elder chanting ancient words that seemed to hold the power of the forest itself. I felt a strange energy building inside me, a power that seemed to be calling to something deep within my soul.
A surge of electric shock hits my Heart as Dimitri also move forward.
Then Kayden came in sight, move closer to where I am standing, looked into my eyes.
And then he move closer to my father and the park elders and said, I have something to say.

I, Kayden the Beta of Twilight Fang Park, have claimed Kate the daughter of Alpha Damien of the Twilight Fang Park as my Mate she is my Fated Mate by the Moon Goddess.
As he finish his statement, My Father roared in annoyance, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity, his irritation radiating like a heat wave that made everyone snarl.
Kayden came close to my side, standing defense as I watch my Father looking at both of us in annoyance,
Dimitri’s face darkened, his brow furrowed in a scowl that seemed to draw the very light out.
The Park member shouting and snarling as they realized what was happening.
As I watch everyone a smile form in my lips, a sense of freedom and joy washing over me, I knew this was the moment that would change my life forever.
Kayden raised his hand and said, I know this might come as a shock to everyone,
But we all know, that since the existence of our Kind. Mate Bonding should takes place between two individuals who the Moon Goddess has fated together, when both parties have accepted eachother as one.
And it’s only if one party rejects, dies or didn’t find his/her mate that any other bonding can take place.
And since Kate and I found out we are fated mate and didn’t reject each other, then our Bonding can not be denied.
As he finished with his statement, some of the elders nodded in agreement, while some didn’t
And they decided to have a meeting on it and inform the park about their resolution.
As I stood beside Kayden, and await the Elders resolution, my eye came in contact with my Father’s, and he looked at me with disdain in his eye. I lowered my gazed,
After a while the Elders are back and they pronounced their decision of Bonding I and Kayden together as we’re the fated mate by the Moon Goddess.
Dimitri and his people stormed out of the Ceremonial ground.
“I disown you, My father said to me as he and some other park members including Celine and her Mother stormed out of the Ceremonial ground.”
Leaving Kayden and I and few other park members who are in support of our union, as the Park elders proceed with the Bonding Ceremony.
