JADE
I stared at my figure in the mirror, my eyes settled upon the hikeys and my scarlet red neck.
My hands would momentarily graze against them once in a while, still unable to believe the fact on how close I and Luciano were earlier in the morning today.
And whenever my mind did run through the moments we shared which could have led up to intimacy, a shade of pink would permeate my cheeks, causing me to giggle to myself.
Why was I feeling like a teenage girl in love? I do not love Lucaino. Atleast not yet. I am not even sure of what I feel for him. But I do know I feel something for him.
The way his hands held me, his lips trailing around my neck especially when it settled in between my breasts… Fuck!
I could feel my thighs beginning to clench. I need to stop thinking of Luciano before I get myself horny.
“Signora..” Jane walked into my reverie so suddenly catching me off guard.
“Hmmm” I nervously buttoned up my shirt and faced her.
“Your husband is back signora” she informed me with a smile.
My heart skipped a bit at the information m. Why did my heart skip just knowing that Lucaino was around?
Oh God.
I smiled at Jade, “I will be downstairs in a minute” I told her to which she bowed her head and left.
I quickly grabbed a denim jacket to cover the hikeys and love bites that Luciano had given me before walking out of my room.
As I reached the edge of the stairs, I spotted Luciano talking to a group of guards sternly.
He was a king in his home.
The moment he pivoted and our gazes locked, a bright smile appeared on his face for me.
I tried so hard to hide my beetroot red cheeks but I failed woefully in doing so.
Luciano’s eyes never waded off mine for even a nano second. He watched me with keen interest, tallying my steps with his amorous eyes.
I became so self conscious as I climbed down, hoping I would not fall to my face.
“Why are you staring at me like that?” I cockily asked once I had reached the bottom of the stairs.
Luciano walked towards me ponderously with his arms folded, “Because you are beautiful”
“Luciano” I giggled like a baby given candy in front of the staffs.
“Thank you” I timidly replied, pressing my lips tight into a thin line of smile.
“Wow..” Luciano breathed out, clasping his hands together. “My wife is beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful. What did I ever do to deserve such a beautiful woman?” Luciano praised me.
I noticed the maids had flattering smiles on their faces for me.
“Luciano you have been complimenting me since I got here. What is the catch?” I laughed.
“No catch. Jade. Why don’t we go out today?” Luciano took my hand in his.
“Really to where?” I asked, my curiosity piqued.
“How about to the little pond we first met?” Luciano’s eyes gleamed in response.
“Are you–are you being serious?” I stiffled back a laugh at his romantic side.
“I have never been more serious principessa” he smirked.
I think I am loving this new side of my husband. I never knew he could be this romantic.
“Sure. I am down for that. A quiet peaceful moment with you as we are surrounded by nature” I concurred.
“Are we going now?”
“Later in the evening. When the sun sets so that we can fully be secluded together in the dark” the way he said that gave me chills but not in the bad way.
“Very well then” I smiled.
“I will have to leave now. To attend to some important things but prepare for our date by seven wife. I do not like tardiness” he added the last word with an iota of authority.
I watched him and heaved out a breath that I did not even know I had been holding in for that long.
I can not wait to see how this date turns out.
* * * * *
“Easy Jade” Luciano softly said as he led me by hand to the pond.
Truthfully the pond looked extremely beautiful at night. I was mesmerized. The luminous moon shone its bright rays, filtering through the branches of the trees and casting a silver glow against the pond waters as it shimmered under the starry night.
The air around was cool and calming, landened with the sweet scent of blooming night flowers as the wind gently blew my hairs and filled the atmosphere with serenity.
I could hear the croaking of frogs and the distant hooting of an owl.
Fireflies, like tiny stars, adorned the surroundings.
“Beautiful is it not?” Luciano asked once we had sat down on the grassy floors.
I nodded and faced him, “Very beautiful. I never knew the pond could be this mesmerising at night”
The sound of fish flapping across the waters chimed into the tranquil environment.
“I guess that is the fish you almost killed the last time you were here. It is happy to see you” Luciano joked.
“Stop it. I am not a killer. You sound like I derive joy in murdering animals” I rolled my eyes at him.
“Don’t you?” Luciano wriggled his brows at me which got me bursting out laughter.
“Says you the murderer” I gave him a lopsided smile.
“Why do you even call me that? Have you seen me kill anyone?”
I stiffled back a chuckle, “You almost beat up Raffaele to death”
“He deserved it” Luciano grinned.
“The waters look so tempting. It is hard not to play in them. I said standing to my feet.
“No Jade. It is late. You do not know what might be in there” Luciano tried to stop me from going closer to the pond.
I doubt anything harmful like crocodiles or snakes could be inside.
“And what is in there does not know what is up here!” I replied defiantly before eagerly taking of my shoes and stepping my feet in the cold waters.
Fuck. I almost felt my legs going numb. The water is freezingly cold!
“It is cold right, get out of it” Luciano said as if he read my mind.
“I am not. You brought me here to enjoy myself so allow me do so in peace” I refused to yield to his will.
Instead I splashed him a handful water and giggled at his reaction.
“I am going to do my own back wife” Luciano cleaned his face with his shirt before standing up.
“That is if you can get me!” I laughed splashing him more.
He joined me in no time as we played on the shores of the pond, splashing each other water and flicking the waters with our toes.
I have never seen Luciano looking so carefree than I have right now.
He was playing like a child. And I loved it.
“Try and catch me!” I laughed, running from him.
“When I do you will beg me to leave you” his reply filled me with a different thought.
What did he mean by that? Was he going to…
“Ouch!!” I shrieked in pain, falling to the ground.
“Jade what is wrong?” Luciano came running at my direction.
“Nothing much. I guess I was so deep in my thoughts that I did not focus on where I was running to” I hissed in pain.
“I think I broke my ankle” I groaned out.
“Do not worry ok. You will be fine” Luciano softly said before carrying me up bridal style and away from the shores of the pond.
Sitting me on the bare ground, he came to crouch in front of me, his eyes fixed on my hurt leg.
“Let me help massage it a bit huh” Luciano suggested.
I nodded, clenching on to my dress tightly.
With a transfixed gaze, I watched as Luciano begin rubbing on my ankle, gently and softly caressing where I felt pain the most.
“Oh fuck..” I groaned out in pain, gripping hold of his arm.
“Does it hurt there?”
“Badly” I gritted out.
“A good massage will help you” Luciano smiled at me before continuing.
Raising my knee, Luciano put one hand behind my knee whilst the other walked its way around my ankle, massaging it.
The pain was slowly dying down, leaving me to focus on nothing but his soft touch.
I never knew this strong hands of his could be so extremely gentle on my skin. He held me like as if I was a fragile egg.
Right there and then as I watched him, I began imagining how it would feel if his hands trailed up a little higher, passing the summit of knees and reaching for my thighs.
How would it feel if he had his expert fingers drawing circles around my…
No. I shook my head inwardly. I am such a big pervert. Here he is helping me and I am busy imagining him romancing me.
God. I have to stop him before I begin acting on my lustful imaginations.
“Luciano that is enough” I pulled my legs away and pushed his hands.
“Why?” Luciano asked, confused.
“I will massage it myself ok. Thank you for your help” I simply stated with nervousness.
“Why don’t you want me to help you? That is why I am here Jade” Luciano attempted grasping hold of my ankle but I smacked his hand away.
“I said I will do it myself Luciano. Do not bother”
“Jade why are you always stubborn especially when I am trying to be helpful and nice to you?” Luciano asked, annoyance playing in his tone.
“I am not stubborn”
“Yes you are. Do not tell me you are refusing my help because of what happened between us yesterday” he inquired with crooked brows.
No! I was rejecting his help because I was scared of acting upon my illicit desires. He is getting it all wrong but I can not tell him this.
“It is not because of that. Do not get me wrong” I divulged the partial truth.
“Then why Jade? Why will you not let me help you if you are not trying to do a payback” Luciano stood to his feet, his hands folded with a scowl on his face.
He was totally misunderstanding me.
Hell no please. I can not deal with any more arguments.
“I just feel I can handle it myself. Why are you finding fault in everything I do. It is not a big deal” I retorted back.
“Fine. Do as you wish” Luciano scoffed before walking out on me.
“Luciano” I called out to him but I got no response rather than his leaving footsteps.
“Are you really snubbing me right now Luciano!?”
Still no response.
Anger filled me and a glare sat on my face for him.
What is his deal!?
“Fine go! If you don’t want me around you then I also don’t want you around me!” I yelled back loud enough for him to hear me before managing to stand on my one good foot and limping towards the other direction.
