Prescott’s pov
“Where should I take you to, your Majesty?” the royal driver asked, staring at me through the rear-view mirror.
I bored my gaze to the glass window, watching Nova enter their building with her long black hair slapping her back as she walks.
“Hold on, let me get across to the warriors.” I groaned, taking my gaze off the Alpha’s building as I relaxed back into the seat.
“Dixon, where are the others?” I asked my best warrior as soon as I got him linked to the mind link.
I heard the sound of the rustling of legs before he spoke up. “Everyone of them is here,” he uttered, his voice was fruity and I nodded my head, even though he could not see me.
“Do you get anything?” I questioned, moving my hand to my face, watching the dried blood in my palm, I hissed and brought down my hand from my face.
“Yes. We have something to show to Your Majesty, and perhaps, we may also have some questions for the Alpha as well,” he explained, I moved on the seat, my hand hitting a soft object on the seat.
I moved my gaze to my side, only to see Nova’s purse that I picked from the floor after she ran out of the store, earlier. I forgot to give it back to her in the car.
How can I forget to give the purse back to her? I hissed, groaning as I picked up the purse.
“You and the guys should head to Randale’s office, I will be with you guys shortly.” I ended the mind link, glaring at the purse in my hand.
“Drive the car back to the parking lot, I need to go somewhere,” I said to the driver, he lowered his head as I stepped down from the car.
“Good, I’m going to see her again!” I groaned, dragging my feet towards the building, each step I took reminded me of when she was heading towards this same building minutes ago.
I smiled, gripping tight onto the purse as I made my way to the building.
“Your Majesty!” the guard gasped, he fell on one knee with his arm propped on his knee. “What brought you here, your Majesty?” he asked, raising her head to look at me.
“Open the door,” I grumbled, staring back to see that the car has been driven away from the compound.
“Your Majesty!” the guard called, pulling my attention that the door has been opened.
I was having a second thought about taking the purse to Nova, why should I take it to her, when I can have the guard do it? I groaned inwardly, trying to put my act together.
“Can you…” I paused, staring at the purse in my hand. Then, a thought flashed through my mind and I let out a satisfactory smirk. “Lead the way to my Queen’s bed chamber.”
“Yes, your Majesty!” the guard gave a curt bow before gesturing for me to pass through the door.
I stepped into the living room, checking out the spacious living room that was decorated with gold and royal purple.
The walls and furniture were gilded with gold leaf. The furniture was plush and inviting, the soft fabrics and supple leather inviting one to sit and relax. The windows were draped in heavy, purple velvet curtains, filtering the sunlight streaming in from the outside.
I moved my gaze away from the funny looking-yet elegant living room. My gaze landed on the guard to see him already on the staircase, he paused and turned when he didn’t hear my approaching footsteps.
“Your Majes…”
“Keep going.” I granted, dragging my feet towards the long stairs.
We walked in a hallway and the guard turned around to face me.
“Your Majesty,” he bowed, clutching his balls in his hands, “Princess… Queen Nova’s bedroom is the first door over there,” he pointed out to a door. I arched my brows, staring at his head with confusion written on my face. “I’m sorry, your Majesty. I can’t near the princess’s bed chambers,” he confessed.
He remained like that, his hands trending as he bowed before me.
“Leave!” I blurted out, turned on my feet and began to walk towards the door.
Standing in front of the door with my fist moving to place a light knock on the door. I paused when I hear voices, coming from the room.
“Does that mean you don’t love him at all?” a voice that I assumed to belong to the first daughter asked, her tone clear and direct.
I retreated my hand from the door, standing there with a smile on my face. I was waiting for Nova to boast about me to her sister, I was patiently waiting for her to praise me for making her the Queen of the nation.
“No,” a faint voice of Nova whispered, I swallowed hard, my hand curled into a ball. My breath hitched as I heard her deny me without a second thought.
“I do not love his Majesty, and I will never love a beast like him…”
I killed the door open, stopping her from completing her statement. I strode towards them, my eyes on Nova who stood beside her bed in her undies. Her eyes widened in horror as I took the dangerous steps towards her.
I walked past the first daughter, stopping in front of Nova, feeling a burn in my chest.
You would never love a beast like me, huh? I smirked, watching her chest rise and fell fast.
I snaked my hands to her neck, lowering my gaze to her face. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I wanted to prove to her that I could make her fall in love with a beast like me, even without trying so hard.
Our forehead meets, gently pressing my nose against hers. I moved my thumb to her lips, brushing it gently on her plump lips.
Nova parted her lips, puffing out air through her mouth.
I leaned forward, pressing my lips gently on her dry plump lips.
As our lips met, a tingling sensation ran through my body. I felt my hands move to her face, gently cupped her cheeks, and stuck out my tongue, damping her lips with my drool. My lips moved against hers with a gentle urgency.
Nova gasped, giving me access to explore her mouth. I felt her lips move, she gently kissed back, our lips intertwined, dancing in a tone of passion.
Nova’s hands moved to my back, tracing her fingers on my back, up to my neck, pulling me closer to her as she deepened the kiss.
I pulled at her bottom lip, sucking it like it was my favourite candy. Her warm lips tasted like honey and I wanted to devour every bit of her honey lips.
“Umm,” Nova moaned into my mouth, she slid a palm to my back, pulling my body to hers.
I smiled into her mouth, her lips stretched as I rolled my tongue inside her mouth. I moved my palms on her cheeks, tracing a line down her jawline with my fingers.
I stared at her face, watching her rosy cheeks glow. I moved my hands off her cheeks, gripping her hands on my neck.
I backed away from the kiss and pulled her hands down from my neck, her brows knitted in confusion.
“What…”
“What am I doing?” I chuckled, moving my thumb to her face, gently caressing her wetted lips. “You said you would never love a beast like me, why then do you kiss this beast back?” I asked, my lips tugged in a wild smirk as she moved her face away from me.
“Why are you here?” she groaned, biting her lip as her heart thumped in her chest.
I took her hand, dropping her purse into her palm. She groaned before tossing it to the bed.
“I didn’t just come because of the purse. I came to tell you that the guy that attacked you at the store was one of the rogues.” I whispered into her ear, fanning her neck with my hot breath.
I strengthen up on my feet, watching her hitched her neck nervously.
“If you enjoy the kiss, don’t hesitate to ask for more if you need it.” I winked at her before turning away from her.
The first daughter stood there with her hard gaze on me, I stopped at her front, sliding my hands into my pant pocket.
“You,” I called out to her, staring down at her with my hard gaze, boring invisible holes into her face. “When next you are curious to know about my relationship my your sister, who is my Queen, make sure you write your question down and deliver it to me. Stop bothering my Queen with your absurd questions.” I muttered, giving her my best smile before walking out of the room.
