Mr. Ying examined him thoughtfully before shifting his gaze back to Ying Xiaoxiao, asking with a solemn expression, “Xiaoxiao, are you certain that he is the one?”
“I’m sure.” Ying Xiaoxiao nodded heavily.
Mr. Ying stared at her deeply. “I can allow the two of you to date, however…” he paused, “I have to monitor it and see if he truly loves you, or if he is merely someone that you brought back here to fool me.”
Ying Xiaoxiao and Corey glanced at each other. Even though they were guilty, she still spoke with feigned confidence. “Dad, you can observe all you want. We can handle your observation.”
Mr. Ying looked at them before replying casually, “Let’s eat. The dishes are getting cold.”
Such a sentence made Ying Xiaoxiao heave a long sigh of relief.
Hence, Corey’s first meet-the-parents session concluded well.

The night was as cold as ice.
Once Rosiley walked out of the building, the blowing wind made her shiver uncontrollably.
“Freezing!”
She rubbed her hands as she looked around to find that familiar car.
At this point in time, a car stopped directly next to her.
Immediately, she smiled as she walked over hastily, sitting in the passenger seat.
When she sat inside, the engine of the car started again as the car advanced slowly.
The interior of the car was warm. Lying comfortably against the car seat, she put on her safety belt as she looked at the man in the driver’s seat. “Sachin, why did you work overtime until now?”
“Some issues about the charity dinner.” Sachin glanced at her and asked, “What about Yayoi’s matter?”
“Erm…” Rosiley thought for a while before replying. “Morphy said that everything was successful. He asked me to not worry, for Uncle and Auntie Seneca will be back home soon.”
Sachin smiled. “Unlike Corey, Morphy is more reliable. He must be 100% confident since he said that.”
Rosiley nodded and replied, “I believe in Morphy, but…” She turned around, her eyes full of amusement. “Did you mean that Corey is unreliable?”
In her eyes, even though Corey seemed to be more playful, he was still very reliable.
Sachin’s brows were raised. “Nope. But in comparison, Morphy is more reliable.”
“That’s true.” Rosiley nodded her head in agreement. If she was to compare Corey and Morphy, she would also say that Morphy was more reliable, at least he was more determined when it came to his relationship.
But Corey… nothing was yet certain for him.
“Do you know what Corey is doing tonight?” Rosiley glanced at him.
“No.” Sachin turned his head and saw that she was smiling slyly, and hence asked her, “Why? Do you know where he is?”
“Of course.” With her brows raised, she replied, “I am afraid you will be astonished.”
Sachin smiled. “I’m prepared to be astonished.”
Rosiley giggled as she answered clearly, word for word, “Corey is going to meet the parents.”
“Meet the parents?” Sachin frowned, as he was confused about what she meant.
Hence, Rosiley added, “He went to the Ying family home.”
This time, Sachin understood. A fleck of astonishment flashed across his handsome face. “Miss Ying seems to be acting fast.”
