TRISTAN’S POV
“Holy Shit!” I cursed, looking mad! I badly want to rip her nanny apart if I could see instantly. My heart was bleeding, and I felt stupid and shameless to be called a father.
What more can I say to describe how awful I felt when I saw Tammy’s back? I stare at my daughter feeling furious at the sight of her back. I couldn’t bring myself to believe what I just witnessed.
Visible and looking fresh marks were on her back…
“Where the fuck is this nanny?!” I growled loudly. With a painful growl, the whole pack members will gather at the heart of the Golden Stone Pack! I turned around and carried Tammy in my arms but she instead wanted to be put down and I let her down.
I walked to the heart of my pack and I remember when I asked her nanny where she was and she responded that she didn’t know where Tammy was, and she had no idea she made a new friend lately. I realized she hadn’t been doing her job but I ignored the thought, knowing how stubborn Tamny can be. Almost everyone had gathered around, my beta Javier and the Luna of Golden Stone pack stood by my sides, as I stood to address everyone in the building… I instructed the guards to open the gates for other pack members to witness and learn lessons.
“Have never felt so wrong for being a father since the day my Daughter made me one but today I did!” I explained with a firm voice, I appeared so strong and that’s how leaders should be.
(Murmuring filled the air)
“What could be wrong in getting your daughter a nanny, only for you to hear how she was bullied by a grown-up lady that’s old enough to have her type as a daughter? The crowd murmured as they wondered what was going on.
“Who is Tammy’s nanny?” I asked, waiting for the culprit to step forward.
“Here I am.” She stepped forward, and she stood in front of me with her head bowed.
“Before I pass my judgment on you… I would like to know why you have been lethal to Tammy.” I asked, trying so much to hide the pain as the scene wouldn’t stop replaying in my head.
“No reason.” She responded with no remorse at all. I wonder and imagine how Tammy would have felt at every moment of it. Every bit of imagination of it keeps making my anger skyrocket.
“What was on the flier the day you came here?”
“I don’t know Alpha-
“Don’t tell me you don’t know!” I yelled, raising her head by her neck, my grip was so firm! Being a bully isn’t something one wakes up one day to do! And I ordered you to talk this minute!
She gasped for breath as her legs were in the air, her head shaking in denial. She wasn’t ready to talk and it kept getting on my nerves.
“Guards!” I called and they responded instantly. “She should be put in the dungeon till we finalize what to do-
“Have her banished.” The crowd murmurs. “Have her flogged before she’s banished!” They chant and chant! It went on for a few minutes.
I stood and I looked at Javier, he nodded. The chanting was still ongoing, I cleared my throat and I began.
“I know everyone is furious but no one is as furious as me… My daughter is the victim in question and I think I failed as a father.
“I will go with the flogging before we have her down to the dungeon.” I agreed and loud cheers filled the air.
“One hundred strokes!” The crowd chanted again and I nodded for the guards to do their job.
“I’m sorry Alpha.” Her nanny pleaded as she clamped to the wooden bench.
“My Luna-
“Don’t call me! You should be punished! and hanged to death! And your head should be hung at the entrance of Golden Stone Park!” Davina yelled, her eyes glowed red and I arched my brows.
Confused by what I saw “Why did her eyeballs glow in red?! It’s only a true and born Alpha are gifted with that.” I thought as I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
“This should serve as a lesson to everyone, this pack is built in love and we are one! No one is above each other as respect is reciprocal! I don’t think Tammy deserves this brutal treatment she got from a wicked she-wolf like her, with no emotions and feelings! This is wrong and I won’t stand for that! I won’t stand as the Luna of this pack while we aren’t treating each other right! I won’t allow anything like that to happen again! She stopped, trying to catch her breath and I was mesmerized by how she made a speech. Her boldness, her courage, and her strength show the qualities of a Luna.
Even so, she did that without my permission but wasn’t bothered. “And if we have anyone among us that has something fishy up their sleeves will be taken hold of one day, as a community and Pack members we all need to be guided and not take advantage of an opportunity for selfish desires.” She ended and the whole crowd cheered. They cheered so loud and it made me smile.
“Luna!, Luna-Luna Davina!” They chanted over and over again while the nanny was being flogged.
“Davina is doing so well,” Javier mumbled as he stood a bit closer to me.
“Yeah, She is,” I admitted, my lips curved up with smiles.
“And you can’t stop smiling because your Luna made you proud!” Javier teased and glared at him.
A few minutes later, everyone was dismissed and the pack was silent as most of the workers were indoors. I looked at how the sun was going down, subconsciously I smiled after having flashbacks of how Davina made a speech.
“Did she truly care about Tammy’s feelings?” I thought, pacing around my room.
“No one will stand for such. More so, Davina loves Tammy as hers. You consider her before she slips off your grip.” Grey responded.
“Why would she slip off? Is she not my mate?-
“Good thing! You just admitted she’s your mate!” Grey exclaims and I arched my brows.
“I did?!”
