RHODA’S POV
The door bell dinged and I stood up from the couch where I was watching a fashion show and went to the door.
Jayden had gone out for a business meeting with his father and I’m all alone here watching TV and waiting for my friend to get here so she could help me unbox my remaining gifts and also tour the house with me.
I got to the door and opened it happily thinking Rose has arrived but I frowned slightly when I saw a young lady who seemed to be slightly older than me standing by the door step with a luggage beside her.
“Good day ma’am, I’m the new maid sent by the Luna” she said and bowed, I smiled lightly and opened the door for her.
“What’s your name” I asked as she got in. “Rebecca ma’am” she replied meekly and nodded. She’s beautiful with a blonde hair and slightly green eyes.
“You are beautiful” I said and she smiled widely. “Thank you ma’am but I’m not as beautiful as you are” she giggled.
“Don’t say that, do not compare yourself with anyone. You are beautiful in your own way so you have to keep your head raised and know you have no replica anywhere” I said to her and her smile widened the more.
She has a really beautiful smile and I like her already. “Okay come with me let me show you your room” I muttered and she nodded before following me upstairs.
We climbed the stair and I took the left side and opened the first door by the corner. Make yourself comfortable, unpack and relax then come downstairs later alright?” I said and she bowed.
“Stop bowing please, I’m not the Luna yet and please don’t call me ma’am, call me Rhoda because I’m not comfortable with people that are older than me calling me ma’am” I said and she stare at me weirdly.
“What’s wrong” I ask her because she kept on staring wide eyed like I said something I was not supposed to say.
“I have never seen a humble lady like you before” she muttered lowly making me laugh.
“It’s really nothing but the way I was trained. Please feel at home” I said and turned walking back to the living room.
“The doorbell dinged and and this time, I knew it was Rose. I ran to the door, pulled it opened and ran into her dragged her into my arms.
“Take it easy on me” she chuckled hugging me back. I opened the door widely and we both walked in.
“Rhoda your house is so big and beautiful, you are one hell of a lucky girl” she cried out dramatically fanning herself.
“Yeah am so happy Rose, Jayden is the best man I’ve ever seen in the whole universe” I said spreading out my hands widely.
“That’s not true, Max is the best man I, Rose has ever seen in the whole universe” she said jumping up.
“Hahahahah, I Know you must say that, come on let’s go unbox the rest of the box” I said and started pulling her hand to the other living room where the celebration was held yesterday.
“Wait a minute gurl, hold on” she said dragging me to a stop. “What the hell is this Rhoda” she squeaked loudly shifting away my hair that was covering my neck. I wonder how she managed to see despite how I covered it.
“Oh my goodness Rhoda, you are finally marked” she jumped on me squealing and kissing the mark on my neck.
“Rose get off me, aarhhh!!! You are suffocating me” I yelled but she paid deaf ear to me and kept jumping on me.
I managed to slip out of her hold and ran into the living room where the gift were packed.
“Aarrh Rhoda so you’ve finally done it, tell me how big is he? Did he handle you well? No wonder your walking step changed dude scattered you” she laughed dramatically making me also laugh.
“Okay okay stop Rose, you are embarrassing me” I said and covered my face. “Shut up your mouth there, who’s embarrassing you I’m sure you weren’t embarrassed when his hands were roaming over your body and his buffalo ploughing you” she said and my jaw dropped.
“What the hell is buffalo and ploughing Rose” I asked raising my brows at her. “You really want me to spell out everything to you? Okay buffalo is you know that thing in-between his legs and then he’s using it to plough inside…. “Aaarrrgh stop Rose” I cut her off embarrassed.
“Are you going to help me out with the boxes or not? I asked feigning annoyance.
“Fine let’s go before you turn to tomato” she smirked and I roll my eyes at her.
“Good day ma’am” Rebecca greated coming climbing down the stairs. “Who’s she? Rose whispered to my ear staring at Rebecca.
“She’s our new help, her name’s Rebecca” I said smiling at Rebecca who was busy looking around the living room.
“Sis Rhoda your house is so fine” Rebecca exclaimed dramatically making us laugh.
“Come on let’s all go unbox the gifts” I yelled out and we all headed to the second sitting room.
They helped me in unboxing the gifts and I kept screaming at the different things in the boxes. It took almost half of the day for us to finish the boxes and then we all moved around the house checking out every part of the house and by the end of the tour, I couldn’t contain my happiness.
The house is more big than I ever imagined. Rose made me take them on a ride with my Ferrari and I happily did so. We got lots of goodies on our way back.
“I’m so tired” I groaned as we got back home, it’s late in the night and after dropping Rose off, I returned back home with Rebecca.
Jayden wasn’t yet back when we returned home. I went back to our room and Rebecca went into the kitchen to prepare us dinner.
“Welcome back sweetie” I greeted when the door opened and he came in obviously tired.
He pecked my lips and walked into the bathroom to freshen. I quickly stood up and rushed down to check how far Rebecca has gone with the food. I smiled as I saw her already setting the table and I helped her with it and got everything ready before going back to call my mate down for dinner.
We ate dinner and chatted, I told him everything that happened with the girls earlier and he was happy I like the help. We finished the dinner, stayed a little in the sitting room before up to our bedroom and spent the night in each other’s arm.
*****LUCA’S POV*****
I drove into the school’s parking lot and intentionally stayed back in my car waiting for Jayden and Rhoda to cone to school. I want to check them to know if they marked themselves already because of they do then I’m doomed.
I waited a while before Rhoda’s new Maserati drove into the parking lot and she came out from the driver’s seat alongside Jayden who came out from the passenger side.
I quickly got down from my car and pretended as though I was just coming in. “Hi, Good morning” I greeted plastering a fake smile on my face as I secretly glare at Jayden.
“Hey Luca, you’re just coming?” Rhoda asked cheerfully. She’s happy and I haven’t seen her this happy and cheerful before.
“Yeah and I can see you guys are just coming in also” I said and she nodded.
I stare at her neck searching the mark and when I saw it, my heart flew into my chest. She’s flaunting it and her mark was also on Jayden’s neck.
You guys should go in, I’ll follow up” I muttered and sauntered back to my car and got in.
It’s all over now, she’s marked and I can no longer have her. A single painful tear trickled down my cheek.
I reversed and drove out of the school and headed back home. I got to the house and stomped into my room, took off my uniform and wore another cloth then ran out of my room back to my car and drove straight to a bar.
My body is shivering and I’m severe pain. I can’t believe I’ve finally lost my girlfriend to that scum. I hit the steering furiously screaming out the anger that was threatening to consume me.
Tears blinded my eyes and I couldn’t do anything then wipe it off. It’s unfair. I know he’s better and richer than me but I also love her. She’s the only woman I’ve ever been with all my life and now, there’s no way I could ever get her back anymore.
I kept on driving not having any direction in mind, all I know is I’m driving. I saw a wine bar ahead of me and I drove over to there, parked my car and went into the bar.
I found a table and sat down still trying hard to control myself from crying thereby embarrassing myself.
I bent down on the table, my mind roaming about, I couldn’t think of anything. My mind is in disarray and I can’t seem to control my self.
“Sir are you alright?” I heard an angelic voice call out to me and Lucian my wolf started jumping around.
“Mate!!! Mate!!!” He growled and I rolled my eyes. “What stupid mate are you talking about” I mummered but he ignored me and kept screaming mate.
I scoff and raise my head up only for my eyes to jam the most captivating set of eyes I’ve ever seen.
“She my mate?” I mumbled and the girl kept staring at me mouth agape.
*****LISA’S POV*****
My eyes fixated on the both of them as they kept playing romance in the class not minding teacher who was teaching and the teacher also ignored them.
Ever since that b*tch snatched my man from me, I’ve lost every form of respect from the students. They now talk to me anyhow they want and worship her.
She even drove Jayden to school on her new Maserati drawing attention to herself Just as she has been doing ever since she became Jayden’s mate.
The news of her new house and cars has circulated the whole school and to make matters worse, she’s flaunting her neck to show everyone that cares to see her mate mark.
I’m pained but I know everything will be over soon. I’m done planning on how to get rid of her, I’m just waiting for the opportunity to hit and when I do, they will never knew what hit them.
Soon the teacher left and I picked up my phone to call Luca so we would put our plan in motion.
“Lisa I’m no longer interested in any of your plans to bring Jayden and Rhoda down” he said sounding happy from the other end.
“What do you mean by that Luca? What nonsense are you spurting out” I yelled getting angry.
“What I’m trying to say is that you should let them be, I’ve noticed it wasn’t actually love we had for them but infatuation which will eventually lead to obsession?” He said and my pupils dilated. I made sure to look back into my phone to be sure it was actually Luca speaking and not someone else.
“Luca do you know what you are saying at all? They’ve marked themselves” I yelled and I could hear his chuckle from the other side.
“Yes, I know about that and I even saw it myself this morning, to tell you the truth I actually left the school because of it and I’m really glad I did” he muttered unconcerned.
“That they’ve marked themselves should be enough reason for you to let them be, you’ll find your own mate just like I found mine now” he said and everything made sense to me.
He’s telling me to forget about them just because he has found his mate. I ended the call and gave out a cranky laugh. Even without his help, I’ll get rid of her and get back what belongs to me.
