Sun rays hit my eyes making me stir and wake up. I squinted my eyes and opened them.
Jayden’s hands wrapped around my waist and his breath fanning my neck, at the place his mark lay on giving me tingling sensations around it.

I stare at my beautiful mate as she sleeps soundly. Now that I think of it, Rhoda isn’t a bad sleeper. That only meant she was pulling those stunts on me when she hated me.
I’m glad she loves me now and I love her too. I never knew I could ever love anyone or be able to stay with a lady but I did with her.

I sat down and started eating mine, I was in the middle of it when my phone rang and I picked after seeing it was Jake calling.
“Hey man,” I called out on picking the call. “Dude tell me how was it, I knew you finally did it,” he said and I rolled my eyes.

“Won’t you go find your mate and hang out with her instead of finding who to leave their mates and hang out with you” Jordan mocked and I laughed.

We talked for a while with Shirley, Jordan’s mate joining in the conversation as we switched it to video chat.
I ended the call after talking with them for close to an hour. I took back the plate I ate with and rinsed it.
I turned to return to the room when I felt a hand circle around my waist. I turn and kissed her hair then carried her to the dining table.
“You shouldn’t have come down yourself, are you sure you are okay?” I asked and she smiled and nodded.
I went to the microwave and brought out her food the dished it on a plate and started feeding her. She hesitated for a while saying she can feed herself, but when I insisted she gave in and ate from my hand.
“I’ll be going out later today for something, I’ll get your things on my way back and some maids will join you so you won’t be bored,” I said to her when she was done eating and she nodded.
“I really don’t think we need any maids though,” she said looking at me. “We sure do need them, we are going to school and need people to take care of the house. This house is way bigger than you imagined, maybe you should take a tour later when you stop feeling pain” I said and she nodded happily.
“I will call Rose to help me open up the remaining gift boxes in the other living room,” she said and I nodded.
She stood up and started walking away.
“Where are you going?” I asked staring at her backside she seemed to have widened overnight.
“To get my phone and call Rose,” she said and I shook my head and stood up. “Let me carry you upstairs,” I said and bundled her up but she started resisting and kicking her legs and whining about having legs to walk on her own.
