He drove into a very massive and spacious compound. Fleets of cars scattered around the house in different sizes and colors.
A flowing fountain molded in a Wolf form stood tall at the center of the compound.
Right at the left side of the house, a huge pool filled with water laid seeking for attention and I would love to give that to it pretty much soon.
Flowers were lined on the pathway which was laid a red carpet that extended to the doorstep.
Numerous servants all lined on a straight line, their heads bowed as they await their Alpha’s entrance. The Alpha and Luna stood at the entrance of the house having broad smiles on their faces.
Beautiful was an understatement to describe Darkmoon’s pack House. I walked with Jayden as he held my hands which I had agreed to earlier in the car after he had threatened me to act good in his parents presence and by that way, he wouldn’t be bothering me.
“Good day Alpha Luther and Luna Mabel” I greeted bowing my head a little. They patted my back one after the other welcoming me to their home and pack as their future Luna.
Well that I wouldn’t be as I don’t have the intention of falling for Jayden or going into a loveless marriage. Jayden would have to reject me by himself and when that happens, I wouldn’t be putting any of my loved ones life in danger.
“Come on dear let’s all go inside, the dinning has been Set” the Luna said and started walking inside with her husband.
“Let’s go inside” Jayden tugged at my hands and I sighed following him in.
The interior design of the castle was really beautiful and breathtaking too. I haven’t seen such designs in my pack.
“Tell me Rhoda, how do you feel about becoming the great Luna of Darkmoon’s pack?” Jayden’s mother asked and I mentally held myself from rolling my eyes at her.
I felt like voicing out all my frustrations and telling her I feel really awful and I only came because of how her son threatened and forced me into coming with him here.
“Great” I replied simply not wanting any drama.
“Mmnhh!!! You are so beautiful and suitable for my son. I like You” she smiled and I gave out a forced smile.
I wouldn’t want to sound rude to her because she isn’t the cause of my predicament.
The moon goddess and Jayden are the cause not her or the Alpha.
“Thank you ma’am” I said and focused on my food.
They asked more questions about my life and how I grew up which I had no choice than to say the little ones I knew.
The dinner was soon over and I was more than happy to leave their presence to seek the comfort of a bed in this strange house.
They insisted I stare with Jayden in his room which I find offensive but having no choice but to obey to their instructions if I want to be alive.
My stuff’s had been arranged by the servants when we were having dinner and they excorted me to the room after the dinner.
Sitting down on the massive bed in the room which was nearly arranged and sparkling, I stood up after a while of sitting and walked towards the big window and pulling aside the curtains, I stared down.
I could see almost the whole pack from here. I could also see a huge garden at the side of the house filled with different kinds and colours of flowers.
If my coming here was on good note, that garden would have been my favorite place to visit but nevertheless, I would still go pick some flowers which I would gift to my Luca someday.
The door opened and I glanced back to see Jayden walking in and towards me smiling and showing all his sparkling teeth.
“Can’t I have a room to myself Jayden? I asked him immediately he entered and he frowned.
“Why should I allow that? You are my mate and my parents would never consent to us staying in separate rooms because we need to make children and how do we do that if we stay in separate rooms” he smirked and I rolled my eyes.
“That won’t be happening and just because I stay in the same room with you doesn’t mean I would let you touch me Jayden” I howled.
He laughed and pulled me closer pinning my body to his. He sniffed my hair, wrapping me in a tight embrace almost squashing me.
“Stop it Jayden” I shrieked and pushed him away stepping back from me.
“Geez!!! I would let that slide today but you are my mate and am allowed to touch you whenever and wherever I want Rhoda so next time, do not push me in that manner again” he shrieked making me roll my eyes secretly.
I ignored him and walked into the closet to change my clothes and on returning, he was gone already.
I sat down on the huge bed and sighed not in support of sharing the same room with him. I mean I don’t understand why I should share the same room with someone I don’t even like all in the name of mate.
Do they actually think I would allow him touch me. hahaha joke of the century If not because they forced me to come here, I wouldn’t agree to any of this and I would have long rejected him.
This is so insane and wickedness in the highest level. I mean why would they not allow anyone fall in love and choose whoever they love instead of pairing two people who might not even like each other just like the case of Jayden and I.
I took out my phone and dialled my mother’s number which rang for a while before she picked up.
“Rhoda is everything alright over there? Are they nice or harsh to you? Are you in trouble my child?” She queried asking too many questions at a time.
“Everything is fine mother just that I am not comfortable here mother I want to come home to you, this is not my father’s house and I can’t be comfortable in another pack away from home especially where none of my love ones resides. mother what if they harm me?” I sniffed crying lowly not wanting to attract any attention to myself.
“They won’t harm you baby, Jayden is your mate and if there is anyone who’s gonna protect you more then it’s him so don’t panic in that aspect as long as you don’t reject him because if you do that, you would be turning him into a beast.
You know he wants you and if you reject him, he wouldn’t take it lightly with you so you just have to relax my daughter everything would be fine and soon you would start developing feelings for him” she said making me scoff at her last line.
“Develop feelings indeed” I mumbled and she chuckled.
We talked for a while and when the door creaked open, I said my goodnight to her and ended the call.
Jayden walked in, pulled off his clothes not even minding my presence. He walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him.
I sighed and laid down on the side of my bed drifting off to sleep after some minutes.
