** JAYDEN’S POV**
I walked into the school compound feeling a little strange. “What is happening to me” I thought as I felt a force dragging me to the school’s infirmary.
I don’t understand why I’m seriously heading towards the infirmary as I wasn’t sick neither do I have anyone sick there.
I got to the door as the force became much more heavier that I had to stop because I nearly hit my head on the door.
“Mate!!!! Mate!!!! Mate!!!” Japher my wolf kept screaming and growling as he moved about. What the hell are you talking about Japher? We don’t have a mate yet remember? I reminded him in case he had forgotten.
“Duh!!! We have now, our mate is inside there” he happily yelped and I frowned.
Could my mate really be in there? Was that why I felt a force drawing me closer to here? If my mate was really there, who knows what she looks like. Maybe beautiful as Rhoda or ugly as Lisa.
“There’s only way to find out dummy and that is by going inside there” he rasped and I sighed gulping down saliva that had already became dried.
I pushed the door open and stepped into the room. My eyes shut immediately as I moved blindly; I guess towards my mate. I stopped when the force stopped pulling me and took a deep breath before opening my eyes.
What the fuck!!!! I shrieked at who my mate actually was. Laying on the bed with IV attached to her hands, she snored quietly. Traces of dried tears were seen on her face.
“Rhoda is my mate?” Yes dummy or is there anybody else in this room? Japher rasped and my eyes lit up instantly.
I felt like pulling her into a hug and showering kisses all her faces but that would never happen as long as she still hated me.
I couldn’t be less happy as I walked closer to the bed she laid and sat on it. I took her little hands in mine and stroke her cheeks.
I feel differently anytime I was around this lady. Something I had never felt or experienced before. Something more than just S3x.
I had been with various women and girls but what I felt for this lady laying here in my presence were just more than wanting to have carnal knowledge of her.
Maybe I felt that way all those while because she was my mate. The moon goddess finally decided to bless me with her and now that she was finally mine, I would fvck her to my heartfelt.
When she’d told me to stopped coming after her that no matter what I do, she would only become Luca’s mate. Hahaha!! I feel blessed by the moon goddess.
The door opened and Luca walked in. He looked around the room and his eyes raised at me. “What do you want and what are you doing with my girlfriend” he asked and I laughed.
“Did you say girlfriend? You should wipe that out of your mouth. Today should be the last day you refer to my Mate as your girlfriend because if you do that, I wouldn’t mind cutting off your tongues and feeding them to you.
Huh!!! What are you saying? Rhoda your mate? He asked and I rolled my eye.
“Is there any other reason as to why I was here and what dragged me to this place, it was the mate bond of course so if you could excuse us, I wanna be with my mate alone” I shrieked and he stood there his gaze pinned on my mate.
No she can’t be your mate, she could be anybody else’s and I would take that but her being your mate is something I would never accept so she isn’t your mate”
“Perhaps you just happened to hear it from the students that I wasn’t her mate and then you rushed in here to claim her when you know fully well she hates you so what makes you think that she would even accept you even if you are truly her mate” he said glaring daggers at me
Anger surged through me as he gazed at my mate. “If your eyes dart towards her again, I would kill you and burn your body to ashes” I roared with my Alpha tone and he cowarded back walking out of the room as Rose came in with her boyfriend.
“What are you doing here!!??” Rose asked glaring at me? “What is that supposed to mean? Are you asking me what I’m doing here? When my mate is laying on this bed for only God knows what” I shrieked and her eyes widened.
What!!!!!!? How is that possible? She can’t be your mate that is not possible; You are not her mate so leave this room” she yelled and I found it amusing.
“Hahahahaha, you are quite amusing Rose. Do you think I would come here to claim who isn’t my mate? Have I ever done that before so why did I do that today? That’s Because the mate bond dragged me here so the earlier all of you starts believing it, the better for y’all” I said and her eyes widened more.
“OMG!!! How would Rhoda take this news? This is really crazy” she mumbled and I rolled my eyes.
“That shouldn’t be my concern, all I know is that after running away from me, she ended up in my trap and this time around, I wouldn’t be letting her go so she should better take it as it was”.
“Rose” what is going on? I heard a tiny voice from behind and I smiled as I turned to her.
“You are awake baby” I said touching her face and she glared at me.
“Rose, what is he doing here” she asked and I rolled my eyes.
“”Remember what I told you weeks ago when you begged me to leave you alone?” I asked and she nodded confusedly.
“I am here because you are my mate and don’t pretend you didn’t feel the bond” I said and she gasped. She should better get used to it.
*****RHODA’S POV***
I fluttered my eyes open looking around the room and my eyes widened as it stopped on Jayden. “What the hell is he doing here and where is Luca, I searched further but I could only see Rose, Max and Jayden as there was no sign of Luca.
Has he deserted me because I wasn’t his mate? Has he gone to find his Mate? I couldn’t help but think.
“Rose what is he doing here?” I asked pointing at the smiling Jayden. Rose looked away avoiding my question.
“Remember what I told you weeks ago when you begged me to leave you alone?” He asked and I nodded confused about how that has anything to do with the question I just asked.
I nodded and pinned my eyes on him, curious on what he wanted to say. I kinda felt distracted by his presence I don’t know how my body is reacting but I just ignored it .
“I am here because you are my mate and don’t pretend you didn’t feel the bond” he said and I gasped.
I can’t deny the fact that I actually felt the a bond between the both of us no wonder I’ve been feeling somehow since I woke up and saw him sitting beside me but I wasn’t gonna believe that piece of shit.
“Hahahahah!!! Biggest joke of the century” I laughed nervously. Will you get out of this room, don’t be too happy because even if you are my mate, I would reject you. You would never have me, if you think you would because I turned out to be your mate” I shrieked at him and he smirked getting me more furious.
I dare you to do that if your life meant nothing to you, you can reject me and prepare for your death because I would kill you before you say Jack” he muttered coldly and I flinched.
“Get out of here Jayden, I don’t want to see you here!!!” I screamed at the top of my voice attracting the nurse incharge of the infirmary.
“What’s going on here?” She asked advancing closer to me.
Tell him to leave here, tell him to go, get out Jayden” I continued screaming ignoring the splitting headache that had befallen me.
Please step out Jayden, she doesn’t need any disturbance for now and if she said she doesn’t want to see you then I suggest you respect that and step out” she said to Jayden who kept sitting as though he wasn’t the one being talked to.
Tears streamed down my face into my chest as I whimpered. Why am I been treated this way? Why is the moon goddess and the universe so cruel to me.
My heart became broken and shattered. Rose hugged me tightly as I wept on her shoulder.
I looked up to still see him sitting staring at me some emotions which I didn’t understand and doesn’t care to understand were written all over his face, I just want him to disappear from my life.
“Get the hell out!!!” I yelled at him throwing a pillow at him.
