The Next Morning…..
I woke up early, dusted and cleaned the house, brew the coffee and prepare for school. Jayden was already out of the house when I woke up so I had enough space to do my things without being disturbed.
I greeted Mom Emily and rushed my breakfast before hurrying to school. I boarded a cab and got to school soon.
I alighted, paid the cab man and walked into the school premises. I looked over at the parking lot and thankfully, Luca’s car was parked there meaning he came to school.
I’m super excited to know he’s all healed up and in school, I can’t wait to see him and hug him.
I got to my locker, check my timetable to see what classes I have, picked out the books and headed to class.
“Hey friendship” Rose exclaimed on sighting me, I smile and threw her a perfect wink.
“Jeez Rhoda that was so perfect how did you learn to wink” she asks drawing close to me. Rose has always been trying hard to wink but she always end up blinking her both eyes.
“Mudy was always doing that whenever he does something and sees that I’m annoyed, so I hard to learn it by force” I muttered and she squeal.
“Do you know how sexy that was? Come on teach me quick” she squeak dragging my hands.
“Later Rose the teacher is already here” I said on sighting the English Miss.
Jayden wasn’t on his seat and am grateful, since what transpired between us, I’ve been having nervous breakdown around him. I do not want my friends to be suspicious of me.
LUNCH BREAK, CAFETERIA….
I held Luca’s hand happily leaning onto it, he’s all healed now and am super excited but a little bothered that he came to school.
“You should have stayed for a few more days to rest before coming to school, you know you shouldn’t be here yet” I said holding his waist.
“Look at you, you clearly missed me and here you are saying I shouldn’t have come to school” he mocked making me blush.
“Well I do but that doesn’t mean I do not want you to heal properly before coming to school, you know this school is a hell lot of stress” I mumbled and he smiled.
“Am really okay now babe you don’t need to worry about anything alright?” he smirked and took my hands rubbing it gently and I smiled.
We all sat down on our table having lunch, this time Robinson joined us together with james and he told us Charlotte accepted him and they are getting to know each other, even though she’s sassy, he likes her and thinks she likes him too but only pretending.
I’m really happy for him and wish they keep staying together.
“Robinson have I told you how handsome you look today” Rose muttered and Robinson bent his head in shyness grinning from ear to ear.
“Yeah true Rose, my beautiful sister is taking care of him well” James added making Robinson’s ear turn more read.
“I Can’t believe the talkative Robinson could be shy and even blush at the mention of his mate, awww lover boy” I also joined in teasing him.
“Aaahhh!!! Ok, I… ahhhhh!!!” he groaned covering his face in shyness and we all laughed.
“Awww, you are so cute lover boy can we see your cute face?” Rose continued trying to pull his hands off his face.
“Aaargh!!! Leave me alone Rose” he voiced and held tightly to his face.
“Can I join you guys” we heard and turned to see Lisa with her plate of food standing alone beside us. Her face was free of the makeup she always gummed to her face and she looked really beautiful without them.
“What do you want now Lisa, why would you want to seat with us when you obviously don’t like us or are you planning something dangerous that demands you stay close to us to accomplish it?” Rose frowned scrutinizing her.
“Noooooo please it’s nothing like that, Rhoda am really sorry for everything how I treated you and every accusation I laid on you, Calling you a boyfriend snatcher, I’m really really sorry that I misunderstood you, I’m blinded by jealousy with the fact that Jayden no longer looks my way and is always following you about, it made me so jealous that I had to transfer the aggression to you. Please forgive me” she finished pinning her eyes on me.
“Look we aren’t new to all this, we all know that you are only pretending to be sorry but when given opportunity to come closer, you would bring out your serpent color” Rose snapped glaring hard at her.
“Please my apologies are genuine and am not talking to you Rose so could you mind your business?” She sassed glaring back at Rose forgetting she was just asking for apology, that means what Rose was saying is the truth she’s only pretending to be sorry when she’s not
“Lisa I think you need to go, this table is already filled up and won’t contain you, and I also think you should be truthful to yourself, you are not so good at hiding pretences and as for the apology, it’s well accepted because I’m not mad at you and I bear nothing against you” I said and took my eyes away from her not missing the glare she threw at me.
“Whatever, I can’t believe I stoop so low to your level to come here and talk to you thinking you are sensible but you proved really senseless. you should be happy I even came close to a stink like you” she grossed and walked out after glaring at Rose and I.
“Yes get out of here you piece of scum, you have no shame and you don’t even know the method to use in convincing people so as to do your evil act, who knows what you are trying to do now, stupid and senseless dummy” Rose slammed, Lisa who was still close by turned, threw her an annoying glare and turned to leave but bumped into a student.
“Kpak!!!” the sound of slap resounded and the girl screamed out in pain holding her reddened cheek.
Lisa slapped the girl who she clearly bumped into because the girl was moving on her own only for Lisa to turn around and clashed into her thereby making the girl’s drink spill on her.
“Are you out of your silly mind? Don’t you have eyes to see where you are going you junk” she yelled and started dragging the girl’s hair out of frustration.
“Stop it Lisa, what do you think you are to harass her, if you are frustrated why don’t you go treat yourself rather than pouring your frustrations on an innocent girl who clearly bumped into and how dare you slapp her for spilling drink on you, have you not seen the sauce you spilled on her?” I shrieked not able to control myself watching her mistreat a girl who was innocent.
“And who are you to tell me what to do?” She snickered disdainfully” So much for asking for an apology, such a slimy b*tch.
“I am the school queen and you don’t mistreat students who did nothing to you, apologize to her right now” I ordered fuming.
“Hahaha, Really Rhoda? I should apologise to what and for what? She asked glaring at me.
“Lisa apologize to the student you mistreated” I grunt loosing it but trying hard to control myself.
“And if I don’t, what will you do b*tch” she scoff daring me. the students began murmuring.
“And you will do just what she asked you to do Lisa and now” we heard a thundering cold and chilly voice at the entrance.
