“What is that?” Kira asked Bryan, turning to look at him.
“The mark under your left arm,” he answered.
“What mark? Let me see,” Aiden jumped in and took a look. “How come I haven’t seen it before?”
“Me neither.” Bryan said.
“I don’t know?” Kira laughed softly. “To answer your question, yes. That mark has always been there, it’s a birthmark. Since I was born, I have had it.”
“It’s beautiful,” Bryan said while smiling at her.
“Thank you, sweetie,” Kira said, blushing. It might be the first time she called him that, or any of them even.
“Now you both, close your eyes and sleep,” She said right after, urging them to sleep while their arms were now wrapped around her in a comfortable position.
“Yes ma’am!” Bryan and Aiden stated as they did as she said.
In no time, they slept off. Although Kira was still awake. She smiled as she looked at their faces, before closing her eyes and also sleeping off.
Later, Kira woke up before both of them and slipped out of bed. When she woke up, breakfast was not yet ready, and she decided to go visit Morane before breakfast got ready, and her mates woke up.
She showered, dressed up in something nice and comfy and left the room. But before leaving, she rubbed both Bryan’s and Aiden’s hair.
“Good morning, Luna,” a guard said to her with a bow as she stepped out of the house.
“Good morning,” Kira said with a smile. “Please, could you escort me to Morane’s home? The witch. I would have done it myself, but I have no idea where it is.”
“Of course, Luna. Please, this way.” The guard accepted, escorting her to Morane’s home.
When they got there, Kira dismissed the guard, but the guard insisted on waiting for her and stood guard in front of Morane’s home.
“Okay then,” Kira said and proceeded to knock on the door.
A few seconds later, the door opened.
“Ryker!” She called out, surprised. “I was not expecting to see you here. Good morning.”
“Good morning, Luna Kira.” Ryker said with a smile and curt bow. “I didn’t expect to see you here myself. I was assigned to look after Morane, whom I suppose you have come to see?”
“Yes, you are correct,” Kira answered and smiled back. “How is she? Is she awake?”
“Yes, she just woke up not too long ago. Please come in,” Ryker said, opening the door wider and inviting Kira in.
“Thank you!” Kira muttered as she stepped in.
She admired Morane’s home, it gave a different vibe and seemed very cozy and comfortable.
“I think she is in the restroom, she will be out soon,” Ryker informed Kira.
“That’s okay.” Kira nodded and helped herself out to the astonishing things she saw in Morane’s living room. She was careful not to touch anything, no matter how tempted she was too, especially the books she saw.
“Luna Kira.”
Kira heard someone call her and turned around. “This must be Morane,” Kira said to herself, inwardly, and smiled.
“It’s nice to finally meet you, Morane,” Kira said with a smile and walked up to Morane, wanting to assist her with sitting.
“It is okay Luna, I am fine now, thank you,” Morane said sincerely, patting Kira’s hand. “So, what brings you here? Don’t tell me you came to check up on me?”
“I did come to check up on you,” Kira chuckled. “Bryan and Aiden seemed worried about your well-being, and I also wanted to know how you were doing.”
“That is such a lovely thing for you to do, Luna. I am honored, and I am fine now. I did some pretty strong magic, but I am recovering very well.” She told Kira.
They had a few more talks, before Kira left. Kira got back home and noticed that breakfast was already served, and so she decided to join them.
“Good morning Mom, Good morning Dad,” She said to Elara and Orion, giving them a peck on their cheeks.
Then she went to Bryan and Aiden, giving them a soft kiss on their lips, “Good morning, my sweeties.”
“Good morning, dear,” Orion answered with a smile. Kira was like the daughter he never had, and he enjoyed having her around, and so did Elara.
Everyone else answered her greeting as she took her seat.
“Where have you been?” Orion asked her.
“She went to visit Morane,” Aiden answered on her behalf.
“How did you know that?” Kira turned to Aiden with a surprise look on her face, pausing from the food she was serving herself. “I don’t remember giving any of you that information.”
“We see everything and everyone in this pack.” Bryan stated.
“Ouuu, scary!” Kira giggled softly and carried on with dishing her food.
“We heard what happened, I hope she is okay now.” Elara muttered.
“She is. She looks well, and she seems to be recovering just fine. One will hardly notice any distress.” Kira told them.
“We will go see her after breakfast because I have a meeting soon and might come back pretty late,” Aiden said, also using that opportunity to inform Kira of his plans for the day.
“You and Bryan have plans today, right?” Aiden inquired.
“Yes!” Bryan and Kira both answered at the same time, making everyone laugh softly.
“Of course, your first date with Bryan, seeing as you already had one with me. You guys should do well to get something for me.” Aiden stated this as he sipped his fresh glass of apple juice.
“I personally will not get anything for you,” Bryan said to Aiden. “Not. A. Single. Thing.”
“Bryan, you are such a baby,” Kira chuckled, her mouth stuffed with food.
“I’m your baby, baby.” Bryan turned to her and winked.
“Baby, baby!” Aiden mimicked Bryan in a mocking tone.
Bryan in response to Aiden’s action turned to Aiden, folded his left hand into a fist, making sure Aiden could see it, and it faced Aiden properly. Then he used his right hand to guide the middle finger of the left hand, making it extend with a playful twist that said, “f*ck you.”
While in Kira’s mind, she wondered where Bryan would take her too on their date.
