Chapter 44

Book:Alpha Arthur, She is mine Published:2024-10-27

The weeping of Malicia and her brothers keeps causing my heart to break, and fill with anger. Their tears couldn’t allow me to take my mind off the fact that I saw Elara being stoned by those evil people. The beasts our society raised.
They should be grateful that saving Elara is my utmost priority. I would have brought each and everyone of them out, and made sure they were stoned to death, one after another. I don’t care if it would take me days to achieve it, but I would have made sure it happened.
Whatever Loki and the rest of my men are doing to them right now, is too weak of a punishment. Those beasts deserve something worse than death.
“Alpha Arthur, will Elara be alright? Her body is cold and she seems not to be breathing,” Malicia cries out. I could feel fear engulf my body, but I tried as much to not show my fear.
I’m Alpha Arthur, and I can’t exhibit my vulnerability before Malicia and her brothers.
“Elara will be fine. Just hold on to her tightly,” I softly uttered.
Just these few times I’ve spent with Malicia, I can tell she is a good friend, and even more than a friend. Now, I understand why Elara always speaks about her.
I push my head backward as I try to mind-link Alpha Blade. This was my first time doing that with him after I had access to my Wolf. “Hey, Blade!” Slowly shaking my head as I try to get his attention.
“What is it, Arthur?” He responds through the mind link.
“Can you drive faster? Elara’s body is getting cold.”
“Wtf!” He roars, and the speed of his car increases.
We drove through the roads like crazy men. I didn’t care if anybody would get hit by my car, but I was a bit careful not to run into someone. I can’t kill an innocent person, when I’m trying to save someone.
Alpha Blade speeds into a lonely lane, and I follow behind him. We get to a road tunnel, and he drives into it. Without having a second thought about it, I also drove in. The tunnel was so dark that only the lights of our cars made it a bit bright. I never knew there was a place like this in my pack.
How did Alpha Blade get to know his way so much around my pack, and I don’t know much about his pack? I’ve only been to his pack thrice. Those occasions were when my father was still alive. He basically carried me along to see Alpha Blade’s father, and I always ended up seeing Blade.
Can’t even recall if we were on good speaking terms then. The rivalry between Blade and I seems like ages, and I’ve lost a lot of memories about our good times.
After a few more drives, Alpha Blade leads us to the end of the tunnel, but the environment looks stranger than the tunnel. It’s almost like a forest with a nice road. Caves surrounded the quiet road. This doesn’t look like my pack, I can clearly tell.
A funny whiff of bloody scent begins to fill my nostrils, and I feel stung inside. My eyes dart through every corner trying to study, and see if I can discover something familiar. The longer the driver, the stranger the environment. There were no sounds of any living being, aside from the chirping of the birds.
“Where is this place, Blade?” I mind-linked him.
“Is the great Alpha Arthur scared? I thought you never valued your miserable life, and could do or face whatever with it,” he responded.
“Fucking shut the fuck up, you piece of shit,” I lash out at him, and cut off the mind-link. Blade never fails in pissing me off. Such a stupid being. The best I can do right now is to avoid his bullshit and focus on Elara. When his solution finally brings Elara back to life, I will put Blade back in the gutters where he rightfully belongs.
Finally, Blade drives us into another lonely lane, and stops right in front of a white cave. Never knew there was a white cave. I had only seen the ones made of Earth tones, mineral deposits, rocks, and stones. But never white.
What was this place, and where are the habitats of this place? Many questions fill my head as I step out of the car.
“What the fuck is this place, Alpha Blade?” Bronson screams out, and I chuckle. I thought I was the only one feeling awkward about this environment.
“A place for healers,” Blade responded.
“Healers? What healers? Why didn’t you just invite them to the city, other than bringing us to this creepy place?” Bronson laments.
I was excited by the fact he wasn’t finding it funny.
Suddenly, the chirping of the birds increases, and lots of birds fly toward us, stopping right in front of us. In a flash, they all transform into almost naked beautiful women. My jaw drops as I gaze at the women in transparent white dresses. The dresses cascaded to their legs, but the sides were slit open.
We could clearly see their round-shaped boobs, and their pointed nipples. Their pants were all laced white. Come on… I could tell because of how transparent their dresses were. Their snowy hair and eyes looked strangely very beautiful. This was my first time seeing this.
Something funny was the way they looked at us. Seems they’ve never set their eyes on men before. It’s strange to me how beautiful ladies like this don’t have access to men. They are birds. Why don’t they fly to my pack and get laid by the males in my pack, or the neighboring packs? It wouldn’t be a bad idea.
“Yes, it will. They are witches and not our species,” Blade responded to me, and I gaped at him in surprise. He points at his temple, “We are still connected. I haven’t cut off mine yet.” Blade reminded me that our mind-link was still connected. I thought I had cut it off.
Well, for the ladies, it now makes sense to me why they looked this way. They were witches. Why didn’t I even think of that when I saw the environment? They are the only species that love to stay away from everyone.
An old woman in her late thousands came out of the cave, and walked toward Blade. I fixed her in that age category because witches live longer than werewolves. Most I heard were immortals. The old lady was also clothed in a white gown, but it wasn’t a transparent one. With her wooden stick in her right hand, supporting her movement, she touches Blade’s cheek with her left hand.
“Alpha! Why did you go through the stress of coming here? After the death of your parents, you never cared to visit us even once. So what’s the important thing that brought you here?” She speaks in a croaky voice.
“Please, I need your help. My fated mate is dying. Can you save her?” Blade points toward my car.
“I don’t know, Alpha. I need to see the girl,” the old witch eerie.
I rushed toward the backseat of my car, and gently pulled Elara out. I cuddled her in my arms closer to my chest, and strolled toward them.
The old lady ran her long nails through Elara’s body, saying some enchanting words. She paused and gazed at Blade’s face, “I’m very excited that you came here with fine men. They can easily pay the price for your request. You can bring the girl in, and I will see what to do with her life,” she pronounced and made her way back into the cave.
“What fine men, and at what price?” Bronson grabs the arm of Blade.
“She is referring to us. There is a tradition here, that before you can get whatever you want from them, you have to give them something in return. Nothing is free. Even healing,” Blade states. Bronson and I stared at ourselves in confusion, and anxiously chuckled.
I pushed my head upward, cleared my throat, before sending my eyes back to Blade. “What is the price we have to pay?”
He casually shrugged his shoulders, “It wouldn’t be something difficult for us. You see these beautiful ladies looking at us, they are always horny. The last time I came here, my father went into the cave with some of his men, and after a while, they came out happy. The only thing my father mentioned was; the ladies needed dicks, and that was what they gave to them.”
With my brow slightly raised, my nose scrunched in disgust, “And what does that even mean?”
“Seems you are gonna donate our sperm inside the body of the ladies.”
“Hell no! I can’t sleep with any of these ladies. Just a few minutes ago, they were birds, and now humans. I don’t even know what they are made of. There is no way I’m fucking any of these birds,” Bronson laments.
I took a closer look at Blade’s face, “You must be joking right?”
He whiffs in annoyance, and a frown plaster on his face. “Do I look like a clown to you? Arthur, we are here to save Elara’s life, and we should do whatever it takes to achieve this. Are you fucking in or out?” His voice was laced with anger.
This dude meant every word he said about us having to sleep with these ladies who are birds. What the hell am I supposed to do at this point? I can’t let Elara die, and I can’t fuck birds either. This whole thing is shit and fucking mess up.
