“It’s rare to see any big shots in Wayer City! You’re so pretty, if he gets out of the car and sees you, he’ll definitely chase after you!” Tilda said, then pouted, sighed to herself, and touched Floyd’s cheek. “But it’s no wonder you’re not interested in handsome guys or bosses. After all, you didn’t even want the most handsome one back then…”
Knowing who she was hinting at, Rosalind’s body visibly stiffened. She instinctively avoided discussing that person, even without mentioning his name.
“I see the night market is about to close. Let’s find a restaurant to grab something to eat and then head back!”
Tilda shrugged and rolled her eyes. “Hah, you still haven’t let go! Otherwise, why change the subject?”
“I haven’t.”
“You have! Rosalind, we’ve been best friends for so many years. Don’t you think I know what kind of person you are?”
Rosalind took a deep breath and then said softly but seriously, “I have really let go. He’s married now; I won’t think about a married man.”
With that, she hugged Floyd and walked ahead.
Tilda quickly caught up. “If you’ve really let go, then why haven’t you accepted any suitors for so long? Don’t tell me you’re too busy with work; that’s just an excuse!”
“If you have the time, focus on yourself! The last time I met your mother, she told me that if you don’t bring a boyfriend home by the end of the year, she’s going to start pushing for marriage.”
At this, Tilda chuckled. “I don’t care! By the way, if you’re free next weekend, come with me to a matchmaking event. I’ll show you what charm is!”
Rosalind paused and raised an eyebrow at her. “You’re going to a matchmaking event?”
“Yeah! My brother introduced me to someone. He’s a returnee with a good family background, someone who could be considered for marriage.”
“But if you’re going to a matchmaking event, what am I supposed to do? Be a third wheel?”
“Aren’t you my best friend? Help me check him out.” Tilda said, then proudly took out her phone and showed Rosalind a photo of her match. “What do you think? Not bad, right?”
Rosalind looked carefully.
He was a clean-cut, delicate-looking guy, scholarly but a bit thin.
She smiled and looked at Tilda. “You like this type?”
“Why? You don’t think he’s good?”
“I don’t think he’s bad; I’m just worried you’re too lively for him to handle.”
“That’s why we go on dates, to get to know each other. If it doesn’t work out, we part ways! But you have to come, okay? Please!”
Tilda mimicked Floyd’s mannerisms and playfully shook Rosalind’s arm.
Floyd didn’t understand what they were talking about; he just blinked his big eyes and giggled. “Mommy, Floyd wants to go too! To be with Aunt Tilda!”
“… We’ll see if I’m free next week.”

Ulric didn’t have anyone follow Rosalind’s car.
He was afraid of alerting her.
Since he knew she was in Wayer City and working at Eastsun Corporation, he could find out her whereabouts whenever he wanted.
“Mr. Walters, Taylor is involved in the Wayer City resort project. I just found some previous collaboration documents that really have her name on them!”
Cedric said as he sent the documents over to his boss.
Indeed, Rosalind’s name was prominently listed under the person in charge.
