Chapter 2244: Spatial Turbulence

Before long, the Eight Trigrams Diagram gradually disappeared.
The center of the vortex was pitch black, resembling a miniature black hole, and dark matter could be sensed emanating from it.
After a while, an object flew out of the passage-it was the Skystone. Billy reached out and caught it.
“Is that the teleportation passage?” Judge and Soul Chaser asked simultaneously, curiously flying up.
“Don’t get too close; there are spatial turbulences inside!” the old woman warned.
“Let me try!” Judge replied, reaching out to grab a two to three-meter-high rock below.
The rock floated into the air and was then sent into the passage by Judge.
As soon as the rock entered the passage, an astonishing scene unfolded.
It was as if an invisible, extremely sharp object sliced through the rock, cutting it into dozens of pieces that floated in the black hole, with cuts as smooth as mirrors.
Seeing this, Billy and the others were astonished.
“Let me try!” Stout said, taking out twenty or thirty swords from his storage ring and throwing them into the passage.
Similar to before, the swords were immediately cut into fragments upon entering the passage.
“This is insane!” everyone exclaimed again.
“Don’t underestimate spatial turbulence. Anyone below Prime Source Realm entering it has no chance of survival,” the old woman with a cane responded.
“Boss, why don’t you put the Nine Dragons Cauldron in and see if it gets cut?” Stout suggested to Billy.
Everyone else was speechless.
“Stout, do you think the Nine Dragons Cauldron is as fragile as your drinking cup?” Harleen retorted.
“Senior, how can we repair the seal in Silent Ruins Sky Realm?” Billy asked after some thought.
“At the entrance you came through earlier, there’s a place similar to this,” the old woman replied.
“You just need to insert the Skystone into the hole in the Yin-Yang Diagram. However, repairing the seal in Silent Ruins Sky Realm might take some time.”
“Understood!” Billy nodded.
“Your physical resilience is extraordinary. Do you want to give it a try?” the old woman asked Billy.
“Yes!” Billy nodded.
“Boss, are you really going to try?” Night Orchid and Frostblade asked simultaneously, worry flashing across their faces.
“I’ll give it a shot. If it doesn’t work, we’ll think of something else,” Billy replied.
He was concerned about Harleen and the others’ safety and was eager to reach The Wilderness.
“Elder with the cane, I have an idea!” Stout said, looking at the old woman.
“My name is Jennifer Clarke!” she glared at Stout.
“Hehe, Elder Jennifer, can’t you pass through this passage?” Stout grinned.
“If Boss and all of us hide inside the Nine Dragons Cauldron, you could take it to The Wilderness. That way, we can all get through.”
“That’s right!” Judge and Soul Chaser chimed in.
“It’s possible,” Jennifer responded. “But if your Boss can’t withstand this passage, he shouldn’t go to The Wilderness. It would be better to stay here and train until he’s stronger.”
“Alright,” Stout muttered.
“I’ll give it a try,” Billy said, flying towards the passage.
“Boss, be careful!” Casey and the others called out simultaneously.
“Got it!” Billy said as he stepped into the passage.
As soon as he entered, Billy took a deep breath. The pressure inside was far greater than he had anticipated, making it hard for him to breathe. He felt like countless sharp blades were cutting his flesh, causing stinging pain all over his body. Despite his extraordinary physical resilience, he soon had dozens of fine cuts on his body. Although they didn’t bleed yet, prolonged exposure would be dangerous.
Billy activated his bloodline power, which alleviated some of the pain but didn’t make him immune to it.
“Billy, this spatial turbulence is terrifying!” Purple Spirit’s voice echoed in Billy’s mind. “If this passage takes only two or three days to traverse, you might barely make it. But if it takes longer, I’m afraid you won’t.”
“Indeed,” Billy replied. He estimated that he could endure this environment for only about three days before reaching his limit.
“Let’s get out first,” Billy said as he flew out of the passage.
“Boss, are you alright?” Night Orchid asked upon seeing Billy’s cuts.
“I’m fine,” Billy shook his head and looked at Jennifer. “Ma’am, how long does it take to reach The Wilderness through this passage?”
“The time varies,” Jennifer shook her head. “For a Returning Source Realm expert who isn’t affected by spatial turbulence, it might take about three days at full speed. But for someone at Prime Source Realm who has to resist the turbulence, it would take much longer-at least ten days.”
“Ten days?” Billy’s mouth twitched slightly.
“Boss, is it difficult?” Casey asked.
“Yes,” Billy nodded. “I can only stay in there for three days at most.”
“With your Nether Wings enhancing your speed, I estimate you might reach The Wilderness in six or seven days if you can withstand the turbulence,” Jennifer continued. She suddenly frowned. “Who’s there?!”
She raised her hand towards her right rear side, causing the void to twist.
“It’s me, Blondie!”
A figure appeared in their sight-it was Blondie, the Blood Spirit Billy had encountered in the blood domain.
“Senior, I know him; he’s a Blood Spirit,” Billy said to Jennifer.
“A talking Blood Spirit? An evolved one?” Jennifer released her grip.
“Yes,” Billy nodded and looked at Blondie. “What’s up?”
“I can help you,” Blondie responded.
“What do you mean?” Billy was puzzled.
“If you devour me and other Blood Spirits, your bloodline power will increase significantly, enhancing your physical resilience,” Blondie explained.
“You want my Boss to devour you willingly? Is there some kind of trick?” Stout was skeptical.
“Probably!” Judge and Soul Chaser agreed with skeptical expressions.
