Chapter 2207: Opportunities and Dangers Coexist

“This question is not important!” the woman in the green dress responded. “If I say it can be done, it can be done!”
“And this is not a bad thing for you, because they will help you modify your blade first, making it more powerful in battle!”
“You know the origin of my blade?” Billy was taken aback.
“I don’t know much, but probably more than you do!” the woman in the green dress replied.
“Who exactly are you?” Billy squinted his eyes.
He was becoming increasingly curious about the woman in the green dress; she knew far more than he had expected!
“You will know in due time!” the woman in the green dress spoke again. “Do you want to consider the deal with Netherworld Palace?”
“Their ancestor’s strength should be considerable, right?” Billy continued to ask.
“Are you worried that after rescuing him, he will repay kindness with enmity and seize your Nine Dragons Cauldron and Skystone?” the woman in the green dress countered.
“That’s entirely possible, isn’t it?” Billy said.
The Nine Dragons Cauldron, ranked first among the Ten Sacred Objects, was something everyone coveted. And since the other party was the ancestor of Netherworld Palace, his skills would certainly not be weak. If he really tried to snatch it, it would be a headache!
“Please rest assured, young brother, our ancestor is definitely not that kind of person…” Toby Cunningham said.
“I have no trust in Netherworld Palace!” Billy interrupted with a faint smile.
“I can’t guarantee that either!” the woman in the green dress continued. “Opportunities and dangers coexist; you need to make your own decision!”
After speaking, she continued, “If I’m not mistaken, you intend to go to the Inferno stronghold, right?”
“Not to underestimate you, but with your current strength, going there is a death sentence. Don’t doubt my words unless you can get the Nine Dragons Cauldron to help you!”
After saying this, she turned and left without waiting for Billy’s response.
Toby Cunningham then looked at Billy.
“I can rescue your ancestor, but besides Nether Wings, you must answer three questions for me!”
“Mr. Billy, please ask!” Toby Cunningham said.
“First, where did the people here come from ten thousand years ago?” Billy asked.
“Second, where is the entrance to the high-level star domain? Besides Miss Sanaa, who else can decipher the array at that entrance?”
“Third, who exactly is Miss Sanaa?”
These were the three aspects he was most interested in at the moment.
Toby Cunningham’s mouth twitched slightly. “Mr. Billy, I’m sorry, but I can’t answer those questions.”
“The entrance to the high-level star domain is known only by Miss Sanaa. As for her origins, probably only she knows.”
“As for the first question, perhaps our Sovereign and ancestor know, but I truly don’t. This world has been sealed for ten thousand years; few people care about where the first batch of people came from.”
It seemed he would have to start with the woman in the green dress!
“Mr. Billy, our Sovereign agrees to use Nether Wings as compensation…” Toby Cunningham continued.
“Lead the way!” Billy said after a brief thought.
As the woman in the green dress said, rescuing the ancestor of Netherworld Clan had its risks but also opportunities!
Fortune favors the bold; it was worth a try!
Nether Wings could enhance his teleportation speed, and a modified blade could boost his combat power. If everything went smoothly, his gains would be substantial!
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Toby Cunningham’s eyes lit up.
An hour later, four people landed in front of a massive stone cliff.
After forming a mysterious seal with his hands and sending it out, Toby Cunningham caused a twenty to thirty-meter-high stone door to slowly open.
Entering through the stone door, Billy saw an entirely different world inside. It was a small city with all buildings in a retro style and many pedestrians on the streets.
After about fifteen minutes, Billy followed Toby Cunningham into a grand hall.
“Billy, be careful; there are many strong individuals in this small city!” Purple Spirit’s voice echoed in Billy’s mind.
“Got it!” Billy replied.
Along the way, he had already sensed nearly twenty Supreme Ancestry Realm auras in the small city. The strongest one was at fourth-rank Holy Ancestry Realm, not including those he couldn’t detect!
“Mr. Billy, please sit; our Sovereign will be here soon!” Toby Cunningham said.
“Alright!” Billy sat down on a chair.
Soon after, two sets of footsteps were heard. A middle-aged man led a white-robed man into the hall.
Billy checked their cultivation levels. The middle-aged man had no detectable aura fluctuations, while the elder was at third-rank Supreme Ancestry Realm.
“Greetings, Sovereign!” Toby Cunningham bowed upon seeing the middle-aged man.
“Welcome, Mr. Billy! I apologize for not greeting you sooner,” Sovereign said as he looked at Billy.
“No need for formalities; we are just here for mutual benefit,” Billy said calmly. “Let’s get to it; I don’t have much time to stay at Netherworld Palace.”
“Mr. Billy is straightforward; I won’t beat around the bush.” Sovereign smiled.
As he spoke, he waved his hand, and a pair of small wings floated before Billy.
Made of an unknown material and entirely transparent with mysterious talismans faintly visible on them, they were about palm-sized.
“Mr. Billy, these are Nether Wings!” Sovereign continued.
“Drop a drop of your blood on them to activate them. You can store them in your storage ring when not in use and control them with spiritual power when needed.”
“Aren’t you afraid I’ll take them and run?” Billy asked.
“Mr. Billy jests!” Sovereign smiled again. “You were introduced by Miss Sanaa; I trust her.”
He pointed at Nether Wings. “Mr. Billy, would you like to test them outside?”
“Sure!” Billy nodded.
The group went outside. Billy dropped a drop of blood on Nether Wings, which flapped twice as if they had a life of their own.
Billy then covered Nether Wings with his spiritual power. In an instant, they expanded several times and attached themselves to his back, flapping rapidly.
Billy soared into the sky and disappeared from Sovereign’s sight in a blink of an eye; his speed was astonishingly fast.
“Sovereign, he won’t really run off with Nether Wings, will he?” Toby Cunningham asked after a while without seeing any sign of Billy.
“Don’t worry; he can’t break through Netherworld City’s array,” the white-robed man replied.
“True!” Toby Cunningham nodded.
While they were talking, Billy reappeared in mid-air and then landed on the ground. The Nether Wings shrank back to palm size.
“Mr. Billy, how are they?” Sovereign asked.
“Very good!” Billy nodded.
Indeed very good!
As the woman in the green dress had said, with Nether Wings’ enhancement, his teleportation speed had increased by at least twofold.
With these Nether Wings, even if he encountered mid-to-late Supreme Ancestry Realm opponents and didn’t want to fight, he could easily escape unscathed.
“I’m glad Mr. Billy likes them!” Sovereign responded.
“Mr. Billy, may I see your blade?” asked the white-robed man at this moment.
“Sure!” Billy handed over his Bloodshadow Fury Blade.
The white-robed man examined the blade carefully for a while before his eyes lit up. “What a fine blade!”
“Can you discern its origin?” Billy asked.
