“Does it make sense to you?” I asked Toni while I applied shaving cream on my face, shirtless in the bathroom.
I was looking in the mirror to make sure I wasn’t missing any spots.
“What?” She asked back softly in the bedroom.
“How Ian decided to go to that territory with Amelia from nowhere.” I answered.
“Well maybe the twins called him and reported something serious.” She said
“No that’s not it. If they did, he would have told me.” I answered, then turned on the tap and washed my hands.
She walked into the bathroom and stood leaning against the door frame.
“He definitely has his own reasons.” She whispered softly.
I looked at her through the mirror and winked at her, making her blush.
“So Mr Beta, what will you do for the day since you are now the acting alpha?” She asked in a soft seductive tone.
“Finish shaving my beard.” I answered seriously, making her laugh.

I put it down next to the sink and sat down.
She went to the bathroom shelf and got two towels which were folded nicely, then she came back and put them on my lap.
“What are these for?” I asked curiously.
“One will be used for whipping the cream off the razor, while the other will be used to wipe the cream from your shaved skin. Now close your eyes and let me do my magic.” She said as I complied and did exactly as she had instructed.

When she began shaving under my jaw, I began thinking of how to respond.

“I guess I wasn’t fully expecting this. Yes, a part of me saw this coming but it’s still too hard to swallow.” She said then put the razor on the towel on my lap and moved to the tap to wash her hands.
“Toni.” I called seriously when she turned it on.
“What?” She answered coldly then turned it off and looked at me with tears forming in her eyes.
“I’ll go and change my clothes so you finish up. Hurry up okay, I want to take a bath.” She said before walking out of the bathroom.
I picked up the razor and the towels from my lap then stood up.
“What the hell did I do wrong?” I asked Vision in silence.
A few minutes ago we were having a great time and now it was the opposite.
“You sure are clueless at times.” He responded.
I threw the razor in the sink and wiped off the cream with the towels.
“I’m not clueless, I answered her question honestly. Did you expect me to lie?” I asked him seriously.
“Let me take over for a few minutes and handle the situation.” He said as I sighed softly.
“Fine.” I answered then stepped back and allowed him to fully take over.
He threw the towels down and walked out of the bathroom following her.
She shyly lowered her gaze to the ground when he looked at her slowly from head to toe.
