Fallen down the ravine.

Layan used to get upset about a lot of things. He was a rather hormonal wolf, so even though he was always smiling his temper was unpredictable. But Priscilla had never seen him so upset in all the time they had been together. Not even in their previous run-ins.
His eyes had gone completely golden and his fangs were very evident. And Priscilla pulled away from him slightly as she felt his scent turn sour.
-You told me not to leave the castle because I had my heat, so I had to take care of him to get out. Just like that,- she answered him.
Layan might be annoyed and terrified as he was now, but Priscilla wasn’t afraid of him at all. Rather, she would be more afraid of her mother if she bothered me than even her own father and that was talking about two alphas. Perhaps it was because she carried their blood.
-Don’t play games Priscilla- his hand closed tightly around her arm and squeezed.
She frowned.
-You’re hurting me. Are we going back to the wolf start,- she narrowed her eyes. Zero patience.
And zero for Layan as well. Just thinking… was driving him crazy.
-Who did you give your heat to,- he growled at her.
Priscilla stood stunned, blinking.
-What?
-I’m asking you to whom you gave your heat. Don’t lie to me because I don’t answer for me- his voice was so low, and Priscilla could see how two pairs of ears formed on Layan’s head, as well as a long tail appeared behind it. His nails were burying themselves in her arm. Her wild side was taking over as she thought her wolf had been taken from her.
She kept her face peaceful, rather, it turned cold at that moment. Layan might be separated from the awareness of his inner beast but they both had to consider her because after all they were both Layan.
-See. You don’t trust me,- he blurted out.
Layan frowned.
-You tell me to trust you but I find you and your zeal disappeared when you promised me. Acaso-
-You think I’m a she-wolf who would sleep with anyone?- she shook her arm and let go of him even though her skin tore and began to bleed.
She stepped back and faced him with eyes so silver they seemed to melt.
-Priscilla, I’m talking to you,- Layan stood up as she turned to walk away.
-It’s always the same with you. You jump to conclusions and never listen to me,- she yelled at him walking away.
Layan grunted and went to follow her when a line of ice appeared in front of him cutting him off. But that didn’t stop him and he stepped over it without it hurting him. He was thankful that the she-wolf’s power had no effect on him because he was sure it wasn’t a simple line of ice.
-If you say you haven’t had sex with any wolf, then where’s your ce…- he stood still.
If he thought about it with a cold mind he would realize that it was impossible for her to have had sex with another wolf without him knowing about it. They were bonded, half bonded but bonded, so he would know instantly, plus she would reject that wolf. Also, aside from that there was no trace of another bite on the back of her neck, something that was normal during jealousy, nor did she have any other marks on her fur. So she…
-Did you notice? -she stopped and turned to him. She was annoyed- You think I’d give my jealousy to anyone. You think me a she-wolf of that caliber when I’ve kept myself only for you-
-Priscila I- Layan knew he’d screwed up again and to the bottom- My head was hot and I-
-I took a pill to suppress the heat temporarily- she interrupted him- I can’t bond with you while Liam is running around- she said firmly and turned around to walk.
She didn’t quite know where she was, since she had run without any sense but she just walked. At that moment her chest hurt and a lot. Layan would say one thing and the next moment she would do the complete opposite. She was puppyish, not stupid. She knew she had a lot to learn, she hadn’t had time or experience like the others. Even though she was biologically of age and could be sexually active, she had been locked up for many years, unaware of the outside world.
And when she had come out she had had to deal with a lot and think about the safety of others. She was exhausted.
-I’m sorry– arms wrapped around her from behind, and stopped her. Priscilla closed her eyes.
Layan pulled her tight against him and his face buried in her neck. The ears were completely gone.
-I’m sorry Priscilla,- he tried to melt into her, -I’m really the one who lacks confidence when I’m next to you.
-I told you Layan, I’m not going to cheat on you, I’m yours but you think I’m going to vanish just like that,- she exhaled air.
He couldn’t answer. He just kept hugging her tightly until he let out some of his pheromones. At first they were few but then they became denser.
-ayan, what are you doing?- Priscilla frowned.
-Let’s finish the link or I’ll go crazy,- he gasped against her.
Priscilla frowned.
-You didn’t hear me. Liam can get into you easier through our link. We won’t do that crazy thing,- she tried to let go but it was useless.
-I don’t care, I’ll deal with him later but I can’t go on with this uncertainty. I trust you but I feel you can leave my side if we don’t bond.
His weight made her fall to her knees. The alpha pheromones grew stronger and Priscilla knew he was forcing the heat that was dormant from that pill.
-Layan no- she moaned. She didn’t want to endanger him.
-I will release your heat Priscilla– he licked the back of her neck. He was desperate. Perhaps if they ended the bond that distrust even in himself would fade. No matter what the consequences.
Bite her
She is my she-wolf.
Don’t let her go.
My she-wolf
My mate
There was a voice in her mind that echoed over and over again. And he felt like he was in a haze. Even those pulses of something wanting to enter faded away giving way to her more primal instinct.
So he opened his mouth and with his fangs still elongated he buried them into the skin on the back of Priscilla’s neck. Again reinforcing his mark. He let the toxins run down them and into the body of the she-wolf he had placed beneath him in a submissive position. He could hear her moaning, groaning, panting, and wanting to pull away from him.
But he still didn’t feel the pheromones he wanted so badly. There wasn’t her heat. She didn’t smell the way he wanted her to. And as if reality hit him the haze vanished and he bared his fangs dropping the she-wolf to the ground panting.
Both Priscilla’s arm and the back of her neck were bleeding. And all because of him. What the hell? Until a moment ago he was arguing with her and now he had bitten her? And hard because the mark was very deep.
-Priscilla?
-It hurts- -She moaned beneath him.
The alpha kissed her head.
-It will stop hurting soon,- and began to lick the wound on her neck where the blood ran to the floor. Then he continued with the arm until the wounds began to close.
She didn’t answer she just lay there quietly, panting silently. Layan sat up and pulled her into his arms.
-I don’t know what happened to me. I just…
She ran her hand over his face. She knew well what had happened. The wild part of her had taken over and claimed her. Layan loved her too, he had told her so in one of the greatest confessions a wolf can make, but he would definitely have to work on their relationship.
-My heat is under control, don’t force it- she gasped. He nodded- I’ll bond with you but let’s take care of Liam first, then we’ll sit down and focus on us- -Layan hugged her again.
Layan hugged her again. His head ached. If it wasn’t for how strong she was she felt like the mental barriers she used to have would have collapsed.
-I will listen to you even though it costs me. I want to complete the link but I see your point of view- it was the first time he felt he was losing faculty of himself and he realized he was not as strong as he thought. Now he understood Priscilla’s concerns.
They would need to move and fast.
-Let’s get back to the herd,- he kissed her temple.
And Priscilla nodded.

On the way back they made it close to the cliff, it was the fastest way. Layan went ahead leading the way while Priscilla bit her tail and let herself be led. She felt him pensive and was sure he was devising some way to get hold of Liam, though right now they didn’t know where he was. Their biggest suspects had fallen apart, so they would have to start from scratch.
And she could feel him moaning. And pausing every moment shaking his head. He knew it, Liam was wanting to force his mind into him. She had to keep an eye on him or something bad might happen.
They were already reaching the end of the cliff when they heard a sound coming from far away and they both stopped.
-What do you think it is,- she perked her ears.
Layan became alert and sniffed. But he never expected something to come out of the undergrowth in their direction. And with one swift movement and before Layan could do anything, it lunged at Priscilla and pushed her… down the ravine.
It was all so fast that Layan could only process what had happened when there was no one behind him. Especially since he knew… that wolf.
-Priscilla,- he gasped when he realized she wasn’t there.
And his heart stopped as he realized she had fallen down the ravine.
