What do I see in you

Book:Alpha's hostage Published:2024-10-15

Layan hated not being in control and especially not understanding what was going on. Like now. He had woken up and had not only his sister at the door with an incredulous face, but Priscilla as if she had gone through a fiery exciting episode.
-Until… finally… you let go of me- she gasped against the pillow after rolling over on her stomach looking satisfied? The smell she was giving off was extremely sweet especially from the wetness between her thighs.
Layan frowned and turned to his sister sitting cross-legged on the bed.
-Leila, wait for me in the dining room. I have other business to attend to first.
-Yes, I noticed,- there was disappointment in his voice.
Normally she was the one who woke her brother up every day and they always went to breakfast together. He was the only person she had left and seeing him now with another company in that compromising situation made her feel really uncomfortable. Was that the only thing she had left going to be taken away from her. Her partner had died and that was a huge hole inside her. She would not allow anyone to take away what was left of her family.
She left the room with a slam of the door.
-She really didn’t like me- Priscilla had regulated her breathing even though her body was shivering slightly and not from cold. A cold smile crossed her face, -I wonder why?
-What did you do to me?- he turned this time to her in annoyance. He could still feel his fingertips being wet and the delicious smell of her insides coming from them.
Priscilla turned sideways to face him. Her cheeks were extremely red and her hair tousled out of its braid, and the image somehow shook the alpha. She looked so good and right her body between her sheets that he had to quickly push the idea out of his head.
-You were touching me wherever you wanted for over an hour and you didn’t stop even after I called for you to stop,- she said.
Layan brushed her long hair back. He didn’t want to know details of what he had done to her.
-I’m not going to apologize. Those are the consequences of your actions. You’re old enough to know what that means.
She blinked slowly as if she were dozing.
-You know, I still wonder what I see in you,- Layan found himself unexpectedly curious, -You’re not as beautiful as my father, nor are you as kind.
-It’s good to know that so you can stop torturing me every time you feel like it,- that he was being compared to Hades was a direct hit to his pride, -And excuse me, I’m not as perfect as your father.
She smiled as if she was amused.
-My father is perfect. You don’t have to feel bad.
-What a compliment,- he said skeptically.
She got up from the bed taking the sheet to wrap it around her hips, she didn’t feel comfortable being naked in front of the wolf she had surely touched unconsciously for an hour. Apparently her body was out of sync with her head and the idea of keeping herself in check. He had let his guard down by falling asleep to be carried away by her scent. Ten years of abstinence from not having the one he had bonded with even if incomplete was taking its toll.
But as he turned and laid Priscilla on his bed he found she had her clothes on wrong thanks to him. The nightgown at the narrow waist exposed her wide hips. Instead her scent and the visible wetness between her white thighs gave him to understand that she had given him more than one orgasm between her arms.
He wanted to strike for it. He seeking to pull away and keep his distance and as soon as he let his guard down it all went down the drain. He cursed his animal instincts.
Priscilla on the other hand didn’t even pretend to be upset. She grabbed Layan’s pillow and hugged it burying her head in it. Nudity was normal for wolves and she didn’t feel self-conscious in front of that alpha. Rather she liked him looking at her, after all her adult body was endowed enough to please him.
Layan removed the sheet and threw it over her to cover her. He was the one who was uncomfortable. Every fiber of his body was commanding him to return to the bed and finish the bond and join her. He grunted.
-Perhaps I couldn’t make more effort to get my hands off you?
-I really didn’t try very hard,- she rubbed her eyes almost closed, -Maybe I said I resented your touching me. You only do it when you hurt me. Don’t put words on my lips.
-You can’t bother Priscilla,- she wanted to bite her tongue after saying that. Touching the subject that she couldn’t feel anything was something that even he himself considered sensitive.
She lifted her head from the pillow yawning.
-Don’t overdo it Layan. And you like calling me a puppy enough not to be one now when it suits you. I’m going to tell you so you’ll keep it in mind. For you I may have been born a few years ago but it’s not just my body that grew up. It is also my mind. I have nothing to dfine me as a puppy so don’t treat me like one- he dropped his head again burying it in the pillow and closing his eyes- I’m going to sleep a little longer-.
Layan took a deep breath trying to calm down. She was definitely wearing on his patience. He had never lost control so easily but with her it was like for the fun of it. He made his way to his personal bathroom and closed the door. This time he locked it just in case. It was bad enough having the scent of the she-wolf all over his body and incidentally this one responding to it.
Priscilla woke up after several hours. It seemed that she had not slept for a long time. Outside the sun was high in the sky so she thought it must be noon. She got out of bed and stretched. Now that Layan was gone and the room was alone only traces of his scent remained.
She put her hands to her head. The voices were haunting now that she was in a new place but among them all there was one she sought but could not find. Yes, that person’s. She was sure she was in that pack. And he was really strong because he had knocked her unconscious even with the barriers she had created.
She got up, noticing discomfort both in her clothes and between her thighs. She needed an urgent bath and a change of clothes. Another time she could look for Layan but she had more important matters than being there simply chasing him. That was, even if it didn’t seem like it, her number two priority.
Yes, number two. He wanted that alpha as his own, but the safety of his family and pack came first and he didn’t want the episodes of the past to repeat themselves again.
She left Layan’s room finding that there were three wolves conversing a few feet away and as soon as they saw her emerge precisely from there, hair disheveled, clothes covering what was necessary, and with a potent scent of another male about her, they tensed up and more so when she approached. She could do nothing else, the room they had intended for her, and which she had no intention of using much, was in that direction four doors down.
-Princess,- one of them, with short blond hair but with a handsome but very stern face bowed slightly in respect.
-You are Kei- she stopped in front of him, and bowed her head noticing that he would have slightly his eyes- My wolf’s beta, a pleasure- she smiled at him with her usual fake smile, so as not to appear unpleasant.
It was then that she remembered that Layan had told her about reading the minds of others and she closed herself to just keep the murmur in the background of her conscience.
Kei on the other hand said nothing and sat up. She didn’t usually talk much and this she-wolf besides having a different scent of her own, was permeated with Layan’s dominant scent, whether consciously or unconsciously. She didn’t really understand her alpha but she was having a hard time.
-I’m going out for a bit,- she stated passing by him after returning the salute to the other two guards next to the beta.
-You can’t do that without the alpha’s permission.
Priscilla stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder.
-Am I a prisoner?
Kei shuddered slightly at the gleam in those silver eyes, they were the same as the alpha of the Silver pack and yet not. These were colder and emptier.
-No-
-That’s fine,- she smiled again, -I’ll just be in the vicinity.
-Ask the alpha’s permission first.
-He doesn’t own me and enough that he walks freely in my father’s morning when he visits- she lifted her shoulders- This will be his pack but he can’t put me on a leash and keep me from walking. I’m a wolf, I need fresh air- and find that person no matter what.
And he resumed his march. She could tell that this wolf was intransigent and she wasn’t the type to let herself be bent so easily. If Layan didn’t want her to go out, he should come and tell her himself, although it wasn’t guaranteed that she would listen to him.
