Layan went through several sensations before his brow furrowed. His room was dark, lit only by the moonlight filtering in from the balcony, through the thin curtains of his canopy bed. Still he could see perfectly, thanks to his wolfish abilities, the cold smiling face of the woman sitting above him.
The white thighs were on either side of her hips, causing the simple, loose-fitting short nightgown to run upward leaving too much skin on display. If that was the worst of it she wouldn’t bother. Priscilla had her entire torso lying across his chest leaning her face into his hand. The position meant that one of her shoulders was completely uncovered and part of the valley of her chest. And it didn’t seem to bother her.
But Layan did because one was practically naked and the other completely. Layan never minded sleeping without clothes, as a wolf it was completely normal, but for the first time he wished he had more than a thin sheet that barely covered his hips.
-How did you get in?- for some reason he knew his answer. She had to imagine that a simple prohibition on his part would not stop her from going in there.
She bowed her head into his palm. Her long hair now in a thick braid shifted from her back falling onto the bed caressing Layan’s fingers. It was too soft to the touch. She felt like tangling the soft strands in her hands but it was fleeting.
-I only asked the necessary questions and they only gave me the answer.
Layan narrowed his eyes.
-Did you read their minds again?
She nodded.
-And a little more. They wouldn’t let me in.- If it wasn’t who he was, he could let that pass as a simple innocent comment. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Taking a deep breath, he tried to get up but remained on his elbows. She was sitting strategically in a dangerous place and it was better not to provoke and even more so with the latest events. It had only been a few movements but something more than her hip was starting to wake up. Damn, she was too sensitive.
-Priscilla,- he called to her in a deep voice in an attempt to hide what was really happening to him.
-Hmm,- her silver eyes glittered.
-Can you at least heed some of my orders and respect my space,- her teeth clenched, -I told you you were forbidden to enter my room. Do you have so little respect for me?
There they went again.
-I don’t know why you’re upset. There’s a part of you that isn’t-she ignored his question outright. As usual.
The alpha closed his eyes as he felt her move slightly and brought a hand to her hip squeezing it hard. His fingers buried themselves in the soft flesh she found uncovered and he had the urge to release her but he knew if he did she would continue to play with him.
-Priscila, I’m losing patience– a bead of sweat ran down his back.
Her lily scent was getting stronger, he could tell she was provoking him and he was losing ground. How could he not be an alpha, how could he look so vulnerable in front of a puppy. He hated what bonding could do especially in males.
-That’s good, it makes it more fun, don’t you think? for night she was in a very good mood.
-Go back to your room, I have to rest, unlike you who only intends to play and waste my time, I have a lot of work to do,- he almost growled in frustration.
-After all I went through to get here, you think I’ll leave so easily,- his lips were raised.
-Yes, or I’ll get you out myself. If you don’t learn the easy way, you’ll learn the hard way,- he threatened her. If she didn’t understand he would have to bring some order.
He used his bond to use her submission to put her on record that he was not just anyone, he was an alpha and above all the one who had put her to sleep. The mark on Priscilla’s neck burned and she growled. Her back arched at the uncomfortable stinging sensation that could brush into pain creating pressure on the wolf’s hip between her thighs.
This time it was the alpha that growled. No, it had not been a good idea to do that. He was now in a complicated situation. He could feel that his arousal had increased considerably in the last few seconds and his erection was really sensitive.
Priscilla was aware of this as she was able to breathe once the pressure was completely gone. If she could feel anything she would have been annoyed by his attempt to try to subjugate her but instead, feeling nothing she only found this to be an alpha outburst.
-Do you want me to help you with that?- she asked and Layan knew exactly what she meant -I provoked it after all-?
The wolf let out a choked moan and bit her lower lip. This feeling was very similar to that time with that dream. The same heat coursing through him, the same smell. He growled accordingly.
-I don’t need your help. Come back at once,- he closed his eyes exhausted and trembling slightly.
-I told you I won’t,- she replied very calmly.
-Priscilla,- she warned him, her blue eyes shining out of the darkness.
-I’ve never slept alone and it won’t be the first time I have. Besides the people in your pack are very noisy and keep giving opinions inside my mind. Don’t help to make my headache worse.
After saying this, she let herself fall shifting to the side and falling on the bed as if she was exhausted, with her eyes closed.
Layan couldn’t say anything to that objection. He figured that the change of environment again was something he had to get used to. And besides, after looking at her for a few seconds without all the jumble of sensations she caused him when she touched him, he realized her forehead was slightly wrinkled. She wasn’t lying.
-Just tonight,- he dropped back onto the bed. He swallowed the lump in his throat at the indignation of finally being the one who had succumbed. How humiliating.
-Hmm- she made a long sound with her throat and snuggled further into his arm. Her breathing became soft and steady at once. She had surrendered.
Instead sleep had completely vanished from the alpha’s body. Who the hell could do that with an erection and the one responsible for it still at her side? Well, not him, exactly. Still he closed his eyes and prayed he could at least fall asleep. Luckily for him it wasn’t long before he forgot everything and drifted into unconsciousness.
It was soft and smelled good, too good. He rubbed his nose several times inhaling the delicious aroma. His hands moved kneading that delicious texture between his fingers full of curved surfaces that he could squeeze without any problems. It didn’t feel bad at all to wake up this way. Rather, it was quite pleasant.
He heard what sounded to him like a faint moan through the haze of his mind but it only motivated him to tighten his grip and kiss that in front of him. Exquisite. He needed more and couldn’t help but squeeze whatever was next to him against his body.
The creak of a door opening and the exclamation of a familiar voice caused him to slowly open his eyes, waking up. He let out a soft, slow grunt of protest as the pleasant sensation suddenly vanished.
But great was his shock at the scene before him. Standing in front of the door was his sister with her eyes wide open, looking not only at him. Layan swallowed and didn’t want to know more about it as he had a remote idea of what was going on. In the end he had to when he heard a new moan.
Priscilla was imprisoned in his arms. Her back against his chest. His hands under her clothes in so many places he couldn’t believe it himself and she was breathing hard, panting and a faint trickle of saliva crossed the edge of her chin. Her gaze was totally unfocused.
The wolf sat up in bed pulling his hands away from her as if he was on fire.
What the hell had he done?
