Layla and her servant arrived at the foot of the mountain and sped towards Northview in a Ferrari.
At that moment, two cars raced towards Cloudgate Mountain, one following the other.
“What’s going on?”
Molly got out of the car and was immediately stunned, her eyes wide and round, her heart pounding wildly.
Cloudgate Mountain looked as though it had been ravaged by a storm countless times; walls had collapsed, houses were destroyed, and everywhere there were severed limbs and branches covered in thick, dripping blood. The air was filled with a nauseating smell of blood.
Everywhere she looked was soaked in blood, resembling hell.
More terrifying still, the giant stone stairs leading to the mountain’s peak had completely shattered into hundreds of pieces, as if bombarded by artillery.
Silence.
Dead silence.
As the main base of the Eight Extremities School in Niarak, the place was usually bustling.
Today, over six thousand practitioners had gathered, but now not even a shadow of a person could be seen, not even an insect.
Looking at the eerie scene in front of her, Molly’s worry reached an extreme.
“Hello! Is anyone there? If someone’s there, say something!”
“Flynn, where are you, you jerk, speak up, speak up!” Molly shouted towards the top of Cloudgate Mountain.
But no one responded.
Tears started to fall from Molly’s eyes.
After Flynn left the Rose villa, the three of them felt restless and uneasy.
They tried calling Flynn’s phone, but the jerk had turned it off.
He had turned it off because he found them annoying.
The three girls, unable to get through, panicked and paced anxiously in the living room.
Scarlet begged Molly to go to Cloudgate Mountain to find Flynn and bring him back.
But Molly feared that Maximo might use the opportunity to strike, so she dared not act rashly.
What if she went to Cloudgate Mountain and Maximo sent practitioners to kill Rose and Scarlet?
She couldn’t take the risk.
Scarlet cried and cursed Flynn.
Rose was full of worry, her fists clenched so tightly that she never relaxed them again.
Molly was restless, neither sitting nor standing, constantly sighing.
Finally, after an hour of struggle, the three made a decision-
Rose and Scarlet secretly went to hide in a small hotel, while Molly went to Cloudgate Mountain to find Flynn.
She never expected to find such a scene upon arriving.
It was a sunny day in Niarak, with no sign of a storm.
But the scene looked like it had been ravaged by one!
Human remains scattered everywhere, walls collapsed, boulders shattered…
Could it have been man-made?
Flynn, a Grandmaster at his peak, couldn’t have caused such destruction.
It would take a Greater Sovereign to do that.
Hmm?
Could it be that Flynn was a Greater Sovereign?
This thought made Molly tremble all over.
If someone had suggested a few days ago that Flynn was a Greater Sovereign, she would have laughed till her stomach hurt.
But after the incident at Northview, she couldn’t easily dismiss the idea.
However, a Greater Sovereign was almost mythical!
Only some ancient families or top powers had such terrifying individuals.
Even Molly, a granddaughter of the Spencer family, had only seen one once.
Standing tall and mighty, like a colossal deity, every word and action carried a force that could move mountains, a scene Molly would never forget.
From this perspective, Flynn didn’t fit the bill at all.
Moreover, Molly had never sensed a hint of Greater Sovereign’s aura from Flynn.
Even thinking of Flynn as a Grandmaster at his peak felt quite discordant.
If that old lecher was a Greater Sovereign, it would be utterly ridiculous!
As Molly’s mind was a mess, another car pulled up, and Madeline stepped out.
“What’s going on here? What happened?”
She stood frozen in horror at the ghastly scene before her.
Almost vomiting, her eyes wide with terror.
After Matteo was locked in the bathroom by the Kaur family, he went mad.
He was worried about Flynn.
But Flynn’s phone was unreachable.
Matteo felt utterly desperate.
He continually slammed against the bathroom door, howling to be let out.
Seeing her father so enraged and fearing for his heart, Madeline reluctantly agreed to check on the situation at Cloudgate Mountain.
She hadn’t expected the scene to be so horrific that it made her dizzy and nauseous from retching.
“Miss George, have you seen Flynn? He… he isn’t dead, is he?” Madeline, having met Molly at a Lilia banquet, approached her to ask.
Molly, staring at everything around her, shook her head and murmured in a trance, “I don’t know, I have to go up and look…”
Just then, her phone rang.
Flynn!
Molly quickly answered the call.
“Flynn, where are you?”
Hearing this, Madeline moved closer to Molly.
“Buying barbecue, why are you calling? Missed a dozen calls, are you crazy?”
Seeing Flynn respond so casually, Molly’s expression darkened, and she snapped, “The phone was off, everyone’s been worried sick, it’s the middle of the night, and I had to come to Cloudgate Mountain to check if you were dead, and you ask me why?!”
“You’re at Cloudgate Mountain?” Flynn sounded slightly startled, then apologetically said, “Oh, sorry, I only turned my phone on when I was paying for the barbecue.”
“Didn’t I tell you? Killing Maximo was like stepping on an ant, what were you all worried about?”
“You see, it took me less than ten minutes to kill him and his over a thousand men.”
“So, there’s nothing to worry about, head back. I’ll be at Ms. Sharp’s place soon.”
“What!” A flash of shock passed through Molly’s eyes as she hurriedly asked, “You mean, all this carnage at Cloudgate Mountain was your doing?”
Flynn shrugged and replied, “Yeah, they tried to stop me from killing Maximo and Braiden, so I had to kill them all.”
“Uh… Ms. Sharp just called, Northview smells terrible, you better go back, hanging up now.”
Before Molly could ask more, Flynn ended the call.
“Flynn killed Maximo and Braiden? Impossible!” Madeline exclaimed in disbelief.
Maximo had six thousand cultivators!
Including six Grandmasters.
Flynn, a mere puppet and waste of space, even if he had some skills, couldn’t possibly have killed Maximo and Braiden.
Molly stood there as if in a dream, stunned.
Although she had analyzed earlier that Flynn might be responsible for everything.
Still, hearing it from Flynn himself left her too shocked to speak.
Just then, the roar of car engines sounded in the distance.
Over fifty cars sped towards them and quickly parked at the foot of the mountain.
“What now?” Madeline said, watching the variety of cars in astonishment.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The doors of over fifty cars opened one after another, and stern-faced men and women stepped out.
“National Security Bureau on duty, bystanders please leave!”
“Niarak General Police assisting with the case, bystanders leave!”
“General Bingford, God of War Cruz’s personal guard, ordered to clean up the scene!”
“……”
