Chapter 2169: Big Trouble

“Judge, stop coming up with bad ideas. Talk to me after you can defeat that Divine Dragon!” Night Orchid said.
“Alright!” Judge shrugged.
“Focus on your training. Try to level up twice more before we reach the Silent Ruins,” Billy instructed.
“Got it!” everyone responded in unison.
Time flew by, and half a month passed in the blink of an eye.
That day, everyone paused their training and emerged from the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space, returning to the starship.
The Scholar and Annalise sensed the martial aura around everyone and couldn’t help but twitch their lips slightly. Unsurprisingly, each person had leveled up once.
It’s really infuriating to compare oneself to others!
For most people, reaching a certain level requires a significant amount of resources and time to advance even one level.
But these young people in front of them had managed to level up in just half a month. It was unbelievable!
“Annalise, have we passed through that dangerous star domain?” White Tiger asked The Scholar.
“You’re overthinking it; we’ve just begun!” Annalise replied.
Before she finished speaking, a loud boom echoed in their ears, deafening them.
At the same time, the starship spun tens of kilometers to the side at high speed. Everyone felt dizzy and disoriented.
“What happened?” White Tiger shouted once the starship stabilized.
“Sit tight, it’s starting!” The Scholar replied.
White Tiger’s mouth twitched slightly. “We just got out and it’s already starting?”
Before he could finish his sentence, another loud boom sounded, and the starship was once again thrown tens of kilometers away.
But it wasn’t over yet. The same thing happened four or five more times before the starship finally stabilized.
By then, everyone was dizzy and nauseous, almost throwing up.
“Sir, didn’t you say this starship could withstand storm impacts?” Judge asked after a while.
“I wasn’t wrong!” The Scholar shrugged. “The starship is still intact!”
Withstanding storm impacts only meant not getting damaged?
Shouldn’t it mean being able to navigate through the storm normally? Even if it was slower, at least it could move forward.
If it continued like this, could they make it through? Even if they were lucky enough to crash their way out of this star domain, who could guarantee they were heading towards the Silent Ruins?
Moreover, if they kept crashing like this, wouldn’t the starship eventually have problems?
“Boss, why don’t we put the entire starship into the Nine Dragons Cauldron?” Stout suggested. “Then you can control the Nine Dragons Cauldron from inside. That should work!”
“Stout, you have some good ideas!” Azure Dragon responded.
“But the starship flies with coordinate guidance. Boss can’t precisely control the direction of the Nine Dragons Cauldron from inside.”
“If we fly blindly and get sucked into a black hole, we’re done for.”
“That makes sense!” Stout nodded. “How about asking Uncle White for help? He can definitely handle it!”
“It’s better to rely on ourselves than on others!” Azure Dragon shrugged and looked at The Scholar.
“Sir, this isn’t working. Can we use a barrier to strengthen our defenses?”
“It’s useless!” Annalise replied. “The storm level here requires a Supreme Ancestry Realm expert to be effective.”
“…” Azure Dragon shrugged again.
“Found it!” At that moment, The Scholar exclaimed excitedly.
“Sir, what did you find?” Amber asked.
“This starship has reinforcement devices. I couldn’t find them earlier, but now I have!” The Scholar replied.
“Sir, you’ve never piloted this starship before?” Casey’s mouth twitched slightly.
“This is my first time!” The Scholar admitted.
“Everyone sit tight, we’re moving out!” The Scholar said as he activated the reinforcement devices.
It worked quite well!
When the starship re-entered the cosmic storm, although it still suffered strong impacts, it only shook violently instead of being thrown tens of kilometers away.
After traveling a bit further, everyone got a preliminary understanding of this star domain.
The number and level of storms here were far beyond what they had encountered before. It was all thanks to this sturdy starship; an ordinary sixth-tier starship would have fallen apart by now.
“Sir, dodge quickly!”
As soon as the starship passed through a storm area, Alex Long shouted as he looked ahead.
Everyone looked and saw a massive piece of stellar debris hurtling toward the starship, with its widest part spanning hundreds of kilometers.
Even Billy’s face changed color.
“No time! Sit tight!” The Scholar shouted back.
“Sir, what’s the plan?” Casey asked.
“We’ll go straight through!” The Scholar replied.
“Are you sure it will work?” Vermilion Bird asked.
“We can try!” The Scholar responded.
As they spoke, the stellar debris was already within a few thousand kilometers of the starship.
Just as everyone looked serious, a surprising scene unfolded before their eyes.
They saw something like astral energy shoot out from the ship’s hull with lightning speed and penetrate the stellar debris ahead.
In an instant, the debris exploded into countless fragments, filling the sky and blocking out the sun.
“Holy crap! This starship has such a function?!” Judge exclaimed.
Billy and the others were equally surprised. They had traveled on many starships but had never seen one with such a device.
Soon after, a thunderous boom echoed as the starship crashed into the stellar debris.
Since the debris had been mostly shattered by the astral energy earlier, it split in two and drifted past both sides of the starship.
“Did we make it?” everyone shouted in unison.
“I told you so!” The Scholar replied.
“Sir, did you know this starship had launch devices?” Soul Chaser asked.
“I just discovered it!” The Scholar replied.
The starship continued forward. Although there were still impacts, they were much smaller than before.
“Everyone, be mentally prepared; we might have some trouble ahead!” After several hours of travel, The Scholar’s voice reached everyone’s ears.
“What kind of trouble?” White Tiger and others asked simultaneously.
“Have you noticed that our starship’s speed has increased significantly?” The Scholar asked in return.
“What do you mean?” Everyone was puzzled for a moment.
“If I’m not mistaken, we might have accidentally entered a celestial body’s gravitational field…” The Scholar continued but then stopped, looking ahead with a changed expression. “Big trouble!”
“A celestial gravitational field?” Everyone was stunned again and looked ahead of the starship.
“Holy crap!” Judge and others exclaimed simultaneously.
