Soul Chaser was taken aback. “Is that so?”
Ivy nodded and added, “However, even at the late stage of the Holy Ancestry Realm, it would take some time to forcibly break through.'”
“So, if we encounter a strong opponent of that level, this array can at least hold them off for a while.”
“That’s not bad,” Soul Chaser and the others nodded in agreement.
As they conversed, Billy retracted the Heavenly Xuan Space, and Luca Ryan and the other two fell from mid-air.
Afterward, everyone returned to the inn.
“Boss, where to next?” Vermilion Bird asked Billy.
“We’re going to find The Scholar,” Billy replied.
With that, he led everyone out of the city.
He didn’t like being on the defensive. Since people from the Enchant Realm and Sky Realm were looking for trouble, he decided to move the battlefield to Silent Ruins.
A few moments later, they arrived at the main hall of the Blade and Sword Sect Martial Arts Pavilion.
“Mr. Billy!” The Scholar and Annalise approached from behind.
“Greetings, elders,” Billy and his group bowed.
“No need for formalities,” The Scholar waved his hand. “Mr. Billy, have you dealt with the people from Sky Realm?”
Billy nodded. “Yes.”
“So quickly?” Annalise was surprised. “Did those three from Abyssal Realm help you again?”
“Annalise, your information is impressive! How did you know three people from Abyssal Realm approached us?” Judge asked.
“Radiant City isn’t that big,” Annalise replied.
“Alright,” Judge shrugged. “But you guessed wrong this time. The people from Sky Realm weren’t dealt with by them.”
“Not them? Then who?” Annalise instinctively checked Billy’s group’s cultivation levels.
Her lips twitched slightly. “Nine Dragons Cauldron is indeed a good place!”
After sensing Billy’s cultivation level, she had fewer doubts. Knowing Billy well, she understood that with all his cards on the table, he could handle someone at the mid-stage of the Holy Ancestry Realm.
“Annalise, why don’t you and The Scholar spend some time in Nine Dragons Cauldron?” Stout suggested.
The Scholar’s lips twitched slightly. “Thanks for the offer, but avatars can’t cultivate on their own!”
“Oh… I forgot about that!” Stout smacked his lips.
“Abyssal Realm is always mysterious. If they helped you, it wasn’t on a whim. Be cautious,” Annalise advised Billy.
“Thank you for the reminder,” Billy nodded.
He had already considered this. The three from Abyssal Realm were likely after Nine Dragons Cauldron as well. But since they hadn’t turned against him yet, he didn’t plan to break the fragile peace.
He wanted to ask if The Scholar and Annalise’s true bodies were still around but decided against it. Everyone had their secrets; it was better not to pry.
After a brief pause, he looked at The Scholar. “Sir, we want to visit Silent Ruins. Are we ready?”
“Everything is prepared. We can leave anytime,” The Scholar smiled.
“Thank you, Sir,” Billy responded.
Early the next morning, led by The Scholar and Annalise, everyone boarded a starship.
On the surface, this starship didn’t look much different from the sixth-tier starships they had seen before.
“The Scholar, are you sure this starship can reach Silent Ruins safely?” Stout asked after scanning his surroundings.
“I’ve heard that reaching Silent Ruins requires passing through a dangerous star domain filled with cosmic storms. Ordinary sixth-tier starships would fall apart.”
“Don’t worry, this isn’t an ordinary sixth-tier starship,” The Scholar replied.
“Is it a seventh-tier starship?” Judge asked.
“No,” The Scholar shook his head. “Sixth-tier domains can’t produce higher-tier items.”
“Sir, have you been to Silent Ruins?” Soul Chaser asked.
“No,” The Scholar shook his head firmly.
“No?” Soul Chaser was surprised. “Then how do you know this starship can withstand those storms?”
“I heard about it,” The Scholar replied.
Everyone was speechless.
“Take your seats; we’re departing,” The Scholar added.
As he finished speaking, the starship shot into the sky like lightning.
Having traveled on several starships since arriving in the sixth-tier domain, they could clearly feel that this one was much faster than any they had taken before.
This reassured them slightly; perhaps this starship did have unique qualities.
“Sir, at this speed, how long will it take to reach Silent Ruins?” Judge asked inside the starship.
“Around a month,” The Scholar replied.
“Silent Ruins is that far from Radiant City? Even at this speed, it takes a month?” Judge was surprised.
“If we could maintain this speed throughout, it wouldn’t take that long. But we’ll encounter many cosmic storms along the way, which will slow us down,” The Scholar explained.
“I see,” Judge nodded. “Sir, where did you get this starship? Was it left by Lady of Heaven a thousand years ago…”
“Don’t mention that woman in front of me!” Annalise interrupted coldly before Judge could finish, a chill emanating from her.
“Alright,” Judge shivered slightly and responded.
Billy and his group’s expressions turned slightly curious; they seemed to have guessed something.
No wonder Annalise had so much resentment towards The Scholar when they first met; this was the reason.
“Can you tell us about the so-called great calamity now?” White Tiger asked.
“When we reach Silent Ruins, I’ll take you to meet someone who will explain everything,” The Scholar replied.
“Meet someone?” Soul Chaser was puzzled. “The Scholar, haven’t you never been to Silent Ruins? How do you know someone there?”
“Is that so strange?” The Scholar countered.
“I’m just curious,” Soul Chaser said.
“Enough wasting time. You should all go cultivate in Nine Dragons Cauldron Space!” The Scholar urged again.
“Silent Ruins is not like Radiant City; it’s a place where only the strong survive. Your cultivation levels are too low; improve them quickly!”
“Understood!” they responded in unison.
A moment later, everyone entered Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
“Boss, have you noticed there are fewer energy talismans here?” Judge asked after scanning his surroundings.
“Those energy talismans took countless years to form. We’ve refined so many recently; of course, there are fewer now!” Frostblade replied.
“Why don’t we go deeper to see if there are higher-level talismans?” Judge suggested.
