Prince George seemed to have all his energy drained, responding listlessly, “My sister’s skin is sensitive to sunlight and cannot be exposed for long periods.”
Leo turned his head towards the living room and asked, “Do the servants disinfect the princess’s room every day? When did this start?”
“It started shortly after my sister was born. The residences of our royal family members are cleaned and disinfected daily,” Prince George replied.
Leo nodded slightly and then looked at Isabelle again. “If I’m not mistaken, the princess was born prematurely, right?”
This statement invigorated Prince George, who immediately nodded in surprise. “Yes, my sister was born a month early. How did you know?”
“Then the strange symptoms appearing on the princess are not surprising,” Leo said with a knowing expression.
“Do you know the cause?” Prince George’s expression became excited. “Dr. Leo, please tell me, what illness does my sister have?”
Leo smiled wryly. “Your Highness, if you insist on asking me what illness it is, I can only tell you that the princess has ‘pampered child syndrome.'”
“Pampered child syndrome?” Prince George frowned deeply. He had never heard of such a condition.
“Yes, pampered child syndrome. The cause is that the princess has lacked physical activity since birth and has lived in an overly clean environment.”
Leo wanted to explain the relationship and interaction between the body’s yin-yang and the environment but figured they wouldn’t understand, so he opted for the simplest explanation.
“Nonsense! What pampered child syndrome? Did you make that up?” Brier couldn’t hold back any longer. “Members of the Royal House of Albion have always grown up in environments similar to the princess’s. Take Prince George, for example; his health is fine, and most other royal family members are healthy. Why does the princess have these strange symptoms?”
Leo patiently explained, “This is related to the princess’s premature birth. Because of it, her constitution is weaker than those born full-term. Combined with a lack of exercise and an overly clean environment, these symptoms that seem like illnesses appear.”
“These symptoms can’t be diagnosed as any specific disease, but you’ve been treating her as if she has various illnesses, further weakening her body.”
“If you don’t believe me, I can prove it to you. If we verify it, the princess’s condition will show significant improvement by this evening!”
“Significant improvement by this evening? Dr. Leo, are you serious?” Prince George’s face was full of anticipation and excitement.
It was already noon, just a few hours until evening.
Seeing Isabelle’s condition improve significantly in a few hours had never happened during years of treatment by modern doctors.
“Your Highness, he’s talking nonsense. That’s absolutely impossible. Don’t be fooled by him!” Brier was red with anger.
To him, Leo’s words were an insult to modern doctors like himself!
Modern doctors in Europe and America had treated the princess for so long without success, and this young man from Atraria claimed he could achieve immediate results in just a few hours. Wasn’t this a blatant slap in the face?
They say Atrarians like to boast; Brier felt he had finally witnessed it firsthand today.
Even more absurdly, Prince George actually believed this young man from Atraria.
Incomprehensible, truly incomprehensible.
Prince George believed Leo because he had seen Leo revive someone who had been declared dead.
Therefore, he ignored Brier’s outburst and looked at Leo with anticipation. “Dr. Leo, if you can quickly improve my sister’s condition, please treat her immediately. Whatever you need, just tell me, and I will provide it.”
Leo looked at Isabelle and asked gently, “Princess Isabelle, do you like playing volleyball?”
“Yes!” Isabelle nodded immediately.
Leo then turned to Prince George. “Your Highness, since the princess likes playing volleyball, please prepare a volleyball.”
“A volleyball?” Prince George was taken aback.
He had expected Leo to perform some needlework treatment or something similar but didn’t expect him to ask for a volleyball.
Is there a necessary connection between volleyball and treatment?
Prince George couldn’t help but ask, “Dr. Leo, what do you need a volleyball for?”
“The sun is shining outside; it’s a good time to get some fresh air and exercise. So I want to play volleyball with Princess Isabelle on the lawn,” Leo smiled.
“Play volleyball?” Prince George’s expression changed.
Even within the Royal House of Albion’s palace, Isabelle rarely played in the garden, let alone on the lawn.
Brier couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted at Leo, “The princess’s current condition doesn’t allow her to be exposed to the outside environment casually. Besides, Atraria’s air quality isn’t great; are you trying to harm her?”
Considering normal logic, the princess’s weak condition indeed made exercise inadvisable, especially contact with soil that might contain various bacteria. Leo’s approach was hard to understand.
Another concern for Prince George was that when they first arrived in Langstel, Isabelle coughed for a while due to the less-than-ideal air quality.
Seeing the hesitation and worry on Prince George’s face, Leo said solemnly, “Your Highness, since you traveled all the way from Albion to Langstel and asked me to treat the princess, please trust me.”
“I only need to play volleyball with the princess outside for a while-no medication or injections-and her issues will be alleviated.”
“Dr. Leo, I trust you, but I’m really worried about whether my sister’s current condition can withstand it…”
“Your Highness, I understand your concern. There’s an old saying in Atraria: ‘Things reach their limit and then reverse.’ The princess’s premature birth and overly clean living environment have led to lower immunity compared to her peers.”
“Humans and nature are inseparable entities. To cure the princess’s symptoms completely, we must rely on nature’s miraculous power. I assure you that nothing will go wrong with the princess.”
