The words are precious; they are floated in the air as if they mean more than what is said according to the circumstances. Chase and Zoe looked at each other concerned and Morris had the beginning of a scowl across his face.

Realizing that he needed to gently bring me back to reality, Chase spoke softly to me, “Brianne, it must have been real for you, but remember it is just a game,”

‘You have no idea,’ I said and placed my legs on the examination table, lying down on my back. For a moment, I felt the room spinning, but I bear my pain and tried to manage through it. “None of you get it. What I saw? The world. We live in? You, me, the universe… consciousness? It’s all a simulation… but we’re not observers. We are active participants. Co-producers. ”

I blurt out a stream of nonsense where I had notions and visions of the universe almost unconsciously. “Every decision that is made is linked…the mind, the spirit, the energy field… It is all interconnected, and we are molding reality in accordance to our thoughts, our faith… Yes there are negative entities out there…there are things in this world which are beyond our understanding manipulating the world. ”

Obviously, I could notice the looks of suspicion and apprehension that were slowly dawning on them. Not even Zoe, who had always been willing to consider the worst-case scenario, was giving me the ‘you are completely off your rocker’ look. And maybe I had. Perhaps this was simply the world speaking when some great catastrophe occurred in my brain and my mind remained transfixed, striving to interpret reality.
But, as I said, in my very bowels I knew it wasn’t. Somehow, the memory of the other place, that area where all realities met, was evaporating as quickly as a dream after waking up. But the certainty remained. The knowing.

“I have to go back,” I found myself blurting out after a moment of what could only be described as the lightning strike of an epiphany. I need to get back to that state again in that way in order to gain an understanding of what is actually going on.

“No way,” Chase said categorically, holding my shoulder firmly. “For God’s sake Brianne, you nearly died. We are not going through that again.”

“And he is right,” Zoe joined the conversation, her demeanor slightly shaky, unlike her usual poised self. “Whatever you went through there… it is not worth it… we have to take our time, look at the information we have gathered, and ”

‘But I intend to make it a point to see you regularly,’ he protested. Technically, the engine cut-off, from sheer force of temper, I finally exploded ‘There’s no time for that!’ “Well, don’t you get it? This is far more important than us or than science or reality itself. There is something brewing. Something… large. ”

The words rang in the air and I could see that their effect was visible on the compound of the lab. Morris’s hand had reached across for the grip of the pistol which was now in his waist, and Zoe had slightly blinked. Chase just looked like a shocked person, who, nonetheless, had his scientific background to take over and make him decide whether I should be taken care of or he should just see what would happen next.

‘What do you mean something is coming,’ Morris demanded, his face now a dark red and his eyes flashing. ‘You mean we are having a threat? Some sort of… I can’t even tell what it is, invasion from the other dimension?’ Isn’t the Architect and The Raven enough?

I scratched my head in bewilderment, trying to put into words the rather vague feeling of urgency that washed over me all the time, “No not really, it’s more like evolution… A transformation of the very fabric of space and time… And we are on the cusp of that paradigm shift. ”

I shook my head and attempted to capture the fragile threads of memory that I had in my head. ‘There was a message’, I whispered. “Maybe a warning, it says ‘dream big’ but it goes beyond that. It’s about waking up… all of us, the human race. ”

It is possible that if I opened my eyes the next time, I would see skeptics and confusion. “I have an idea,” I snapped back, anger rising with determination, “I know this must sound crazy, but I’m telling you, it was not a dream. It was not it was not some fantasy or this crazy version of existence. It is REAL. And it does not only concern us or me and you and this this reality. It concerns everything. Everything that could happen. ”

I slid off the examination table and stood on my feet, though the spinning sensation was threatening to pull me down again. “This is what we have to decide. ” I looked straight into their eyes one by one. ‘We can explain this away simply suffering from some kind of epileptic hallucination where a broken cortex fools us into believing that out there, beyond the realm of our human understanding, we have a mission, a purpose in fact, a duty to change the way reality works’

After that, the room was so quiet; it felt as if something like a pin drop could be heard. I could hear the cogs in their heads trying to process the things that I was telling them. Finally, to keep the mood from getting really heavy, Zoe was the one who spoke again.

“Well,” Zoe asked quietly, her voice marked with scorn, “facing the reality that you claim you’ve experienced here…what do you want us to do?”

I inhaled, deep to calm myself down. “We need to find a way to do the experiment ‘again”. “But not only with me this time. We have to share this with others, with as many people as possible. ”

‘You mean you are talking about people deliberately putting the population into some kind of collective hyper-conscious state of a chosen people,’ replied Chase, shooting off from the scientific Isles. “The ethical implications alone-”

“Well, sorry, we can forget ethics,” Morris interrupted angrily. “What about practical applications?” You start screwing with people’s minds on a large scale, suddenly it’s panic, chaos, You know, the end of civilization as we know it. ”

“Well, maybe that is what needs to happen,” I retorted, much to my own shock to find myself so animated. Perhaps, the society that we are aware of, the world we consider being so real, is simply a subset, the smallest part of the whole picture out there to forget what we are really capable of.
