Billy agreed to go with the group mainly because he wanted to meet the person named Jordyn. He had nothing better to do anyway.
After about fifteen minutes, the group landed in a beautiful estate.
“Isn’t Enchant Realm based in Silent Ruins? Do you have properties in Radiant City as well?” Billy asked casually.
“Mr. Billy, you’re joking. Enchant Realm doesn’t have many properties in Silent Ruins; all our properties are spread across these cities,” Emilie replied.
“I see!” Billy responded.
As they conversed, the group entered a grand hall in a palace.
“Mr. Billy, please wait here. I’ll go fetch Lady Jordyn,” Emilie said before turning and walking down a corridor.
Two or three minutes later, the sound of footsteps echoed, and a group of women emerged from the corridor.
Leading them was a woman who appeared a few years younger than Emilie. She had enchanting features, a seductive figure, and an alluring demeanor that made it hard for anyone to look directly at her.
Jordyn, living up to her reputation!
“Mr. Billy, it’s an honor to have you here. I apologize for not greeting you sooner,” Jordyn said as she bowed.
While speaking, she not only sized up Billy with her eyes but also scanned him with her spiritual power.
“No need for formalities,” Billy replied calmly.
He also roughly assessed the cultivation levels of the people present. As expected, there was no aura emanating from Jordyn.
Among the others, there was one woman at the early stage of Holy Ancestry Realm and two at the mid-to-late stages of Entering Ancestry Realm. The rest were at Emptiness Realm.
“I’ve long heard that Mr. Billy is a once-in-a-millennium genius. Seeing you today, I can confirm it’s true!” Jordyn said after taking her seat.
“I’m in a hurry. Let’s get to the point,” Billy said, looking at her.
“You came to Radiant City to avenge your people, right? Yes, I killed them. If you want revenge, go ahead.”
“Mr. Billy, you’re mistaken!” Jordyn responded. “They were just a bunch of incompetent fools. Their deaths are not worth mentioning!”
“Is that so?” Billy smiled faintly. “Then why did you call me here?”
“I invited Mr. Billy here to make friends and propose a deal,” Jordyn continued.
“I’m not interested in making friends, especially with beautiful women,” Billy smiled again.
Jordyn laughed charmingly, her body shaking with amusement.
After finally stopping her laughter, she looked at Billy. “Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Billy!”
“You’re welcome,” Billy replied. “So, what deal do you want to make?”
“If I’m not mistaken, Mr. Billy has been with The Scholar recently?” Jordyn asked again. “We have something very important to ask The Scholar.”
“If Mr. Billy can tell us where he is, you can name your conditions. Emilie and I can do anything for you.”
“Anything? What if I want your lives?” Billy smiled faintly.
“Mr. Billy, you’re joking. I believe you wouldn’t be so cruel to us, right?” Jordyn laughed again.
“Don’t be so sure,” Billy smiled once more.
“If you leave Radiant City now and stop pursuing The Scholar, you might save your lives. Otherwise, you won’t have the chance to return to Silent Ruins.”
“Mr. Billy, wise people know when to retreat. You should know the consequences of opposing Enchant Realm,” Emilie interjected.
“The Scholar took something very important that belonged to Enchant Realm. We just want it back…”
“Is that so?” Billy interrupted her. “Does it belong to Enchant Realm or the Domain Lord’s Mansion?”
He could guess what they were after-most likely the Skystone he had.
“It seems The Scholar has told you a lot about the Domain Lord’s Mansion,” Jordyn continued smiling.
“But Mr. Billy, do you believe everything he says? Wouldn’t you be interested in hearing my side of the story?”
“Not interested,” Billy shook his head decisively.
He then stood up. “Sorry, we don’t share the same path. Goodbye!”
Before he finished speaking, over twenty women blocked the hall’s entrance simultaneously.
“What now? If persuasion doesn’t work, you’re resorting to force?” Billy looked at Jordyn. “Do you think you can keep me here?”
“I’m sincerely trying to befriend Mr. Billy. I hope Mr. Billy…” Jordyn began.
“I said we don’t share the same path,” Billy interrupted her. “If you’re determined to fight, go ahead and try.”
“But remember, once you start, your fate is sealed. Even if I don’t kill you today, your life will eventually be mine.”
“How arrogant!” A sixth-rank Entering Ancestry Realm woman at the door sneered. “With just first-rank Entering Ancestry Realm cultivation, where do you get your confidence?”
“Do you want to try?” Billy looked at her.
“Let’s see!” The woman shouted as she drew her sword and charged at Billy without holding back.
Jordyn didn’t stop her either; she probably wanted to see how capable Billy was.
They had heard many legends about Billy before this-almost mythical.
But no matter what, Billy was only at first-rank Holy Ancestry Realm. She couldn’t understand how he had come this far.
“Sorry, but you’re not qualified to see my full strength,” Billy replied calmly.
As he casually waved his hand, a gust of wind sent the woman flying out of the door like she had been hit by a beast.
She landed outside on the ground after tumbling seven or eight times, blood pouring from her mouth.
One move and she was defeated!
“Hmm?” Seeing this, everyone including Jordyn showed a hint of surprise on their faces.
A difference of five ranks, and he defeated her with just a casual wave?
They began to believe in Billy’s legends!
“So, anyone else wants to try?” Billy asked again.
“I’d like to learn from Mr. Billy,” a first-rank Holy Ancestry Realm woman said.
“Are you sure?” Billy responded. “The space here is limited; let’s go outside.”
“Please!” The woman agreed.
Soon, everyone gathered in the courtyard. The woman bowed slightly to Billy. “Please instruct me!”
As soon as she finished speaking, her aura erupted-first-rank Holy Ancestry Realm on full display.
Then she flicked her wrist, sending a sharp sword light tearing through the air towards Billy.
As she launched her attack, Billy moved too, drawing his Thunder Blade to meet her strike.
