Zephyr immediately cried out in pain, his face contorted, “My round shield!”
Leo and Kakumei were both horrified.
It was terrifying. This person’s body was unbelievably strong. Could it really be an indestructible golden body?
In an instant, Kakumei and Zephyr lost two of their best weapons, their momentum severely diminished.
Now, only Leo could stand up. “Impressive skills, as expected of The Drought Zombie.”
The general glanced at Leo arrogantly and disdainfully. “What, is it your turn now?”
Leo summoned the Divine Dragon Sword. “I want to test your skills.”
The general laughed. “With that broken sword in your hand? Come, let me help you reforge it and see how hard it can get.”
Leo steeled himself and shouted, “Die!” Holding the Divine Dragon Sword, he charged straight at the general.
The general showed no fear, still standing there arrogantly, seemingly ready to take Leo’s attack head-on without dodging.
Leo was secretly delighted. As he got close, he shouted, and the Divine Dragon Sword’s blade shot straight at the general’s chest.
The general suddenly sensed something was wrong, his blood-red eyes widening. “No, this sword…”
His tall body tried to dodge, but it was too late.
The Divine Dragon Sword pierced through the general’s seemingly indestructible body like rotten wood!
The general’s face twisted in pain, a strange layer of blood appearing.
This scene made Kakumei and his disciple overjoyed, feeling a great sense of satisfaction.
The general, in pain and rage, let out a furious roar, his palm blazing as he struck heavily at Leo.
Leo quickly used his left hand to channel Spiritual Power, clashing directly with the general’s palm.
With a loud bang, chaotic light burst forth. Leo grunted and retreated rapidly with his sword.
The general screamed in pain, blood gushing from the gaping wound in his chest as he staggered back three steps.
Leo steadied himself, feeling a tightness in his chest. He thought to himself: As expected of The Drought Zombie. Even after being pierced by my sword, he still has such power.
The general roared, “Bastard! How is this possible? What kind of sword is that? How could it hurt me?”
Leo sneered. “There is no truly indestructible body in this world. Even gods can’t achieve that. Remember this: the sword in my hand is called the Divine Dragon Sword!”
The general said coldly, “Divine Dragon Sword, very well! You’ve successfully angered me. Soon you’ll understand that sometimes dying quickly is a blessing.”
As he spoke, the general took a deep breath.
Immediately, the bloody wound on his chest began to change.
The torn muscles quickly twisted and grew back at an astonishing speed.
Soon, the wound on the general’s chest healed completely, even his armor was intact.
Kakumei was shocked. “This can’t be! Such a wound can heal so quickly. Is he really an immortal god?”
The general laughed. “I told you, I have an indestructible body. You fools dare to think you can kill me? It’s utterly ridiculous.”
Leo calmed down and suddenly smiled. “General, not bad. You’ve learned to use tricks now. Do you think I can’t see through your facade?”
“Your wound only healed on the surface. Your essence has still been severely damaged. The Drought Zombie is not immortal.”
The general was infuriated at having his trick exposed. “So what if I’m injured? You are still far from being my match.”
“You think you can kill The Drought Zombie? Impossible!”
Leo laughed. “Really? Then you don’t know my true power!”
He took a deep breath and punched the ground.
Immediately, the ground under the general’s feet trembled violently. Two clumps of earth rose up, wrapping around his feet and hardening like steel.
The general was startled but not panicked. Instead, he laughed. “Not bad. But do you think this can hold me?”
He shouted arrogantly, trying to disperse the earth clumps binding his feet.
However, to his shock, he couldn’t break free.
The general was stunned. “This… this is impossible!”
Leo smiled proudly. “Nothing is impossible. Die!”
The ground shook violently, shooting out countless yellow-brown energy beams that swept towards the general.
The general was alarmed and roared angrily, “No way!”
Suddenly, fierce flames erupted from under his feet!
Instantly, the earth clumps binding his feet shattered despite their steel-like hardness.
At this moment, the dense energy beams had already reached him, exploding around the general like countless blossoms of peach flowers amidst his furious roars.
At that moment, Leo moved again like a swift leopard.
He shook the Divine Dragon Sword in his hand, creating nine sword flowers that shot towards the general with blood-red light.
However, The Drought Zombie wasn’t so easily killed. As the nine sword flowers approached his chest like lightning, he extended his hands and firmly grasped the sword tips, ignoring their deceptive appearance.
“Hahaha…” The general laughed triumphantly. “Boy, no matter what tricks you have, they are futile against absolute power.”
Leo’s face showed no fear; instead, a strange smile appeared. “Is that so?”
The general sensed danger but couldn’t pinpoint its source.
The only weapon capable of harming him was the Divine Dragon Sword, which he had firmly grasped. He didn’t believe Leo had any other tricks up his sleeve.
At that moment, Leo suddenly twisted the Divine Dragon Sword with both hands.
Golden light burst forth as the blade spun rapidly, forcing the general’s hands apart.
Then, the sword shot forward like a rainbow, piercing into the general’s chest and spraying a dazzling blood flower.
The hall fell into dead silence.
The general stared at Leo in disbelief for five seconds before letting out a hysterical scream: “Ah…”
The furious howl made Leo’s eardrums ring as he quickly withdrew his sword, bringing up another blood flower with its tip.
The general went mad. His excessive arrogance had led to two severe injuries in quick succession. Even The Drought Zombie was gravely wounded.
A terrifying scene unfolded as black Death Reek poured out from the general’s body like massive black clouds enveloping the entire hall.
For a moment, the black clouds churned with countless wailing ghosts within them, their heavy resentment chilling to the bone.
Leo knew the general was about to go berserk and shouted urgently: “He’s going crazy! Be careful!”
As soon as he finished speaking, the general let out a hysterical roar: “Die! Scorched Earth!”
A massive Firedrake roared out from mid-air with claws bared and teeth gnashing as it charged towards Leo and his companions.
