As the scythe spun rapidly, beams of Thunder Blade slashed towards The Scholar. In the blink of an eye, a fiery red light shone above The Scholar’s head like a blazing sun. From Billy and the others’ perspective, The Scholar was enveloped by countless fiery red blade lights, leaving no escape route, forcing him to fight head-on.
“Is this the power of the Holy Ancestry Realm? It’s truly monstrous!” Bob exclaimed as he watched the scene in the sky.
“If the Holy Ancestry Realm can cause such a commotion, how powerful must the Supreme Ancestry Realm be?” Ian Blade added, then turned to Billy. “Boss, should we put them both into the Heavenly Xuan Space? I’m worried that Senior Scholar might not be able to handle it.”
“Let’s wait and see,” Billy responded. He believed The Scholar wasn’t a reckless person. Since he had confidence in fighting the opponent, he must have some understanding of Red Reaper’s strength.
As they conversed, a series of explosions echoed through the void, louder than thunder. Everyone looked on as The Scholar’s move caused the fiery red blade lights around him to dissipate, and the void collapsed simultaneously. After the loud noise, two figures shot out three to four hundred meters away-it was The Scholar and Red Reaper. Clearly, this round ended in a draw.
“Senior Scholar’s ability to challenge beyond his level is impressive!” Judge remarked.
“It seems like Senior Scholar hasn’t even used his full strength yet,” White Tiger commented.
“I feel the same way!” Azure Fang nodded in agreement.
“Was that your trump card?” The Scholar called out to Red Reaper.
“With first-rank Holy Ancestry Realm cultivation, is that all you’ve got? When I first entered the Holy Ancestry Realm, I could kill ten opponents like you with one strike!”
“Arrogant!” Red Reaper snorted coldly.
“Don’t believe me?” The Scholar continued, “Take another strike from me. If you survive, I’ll let you leave!”
As he spoke, his eyes narrowed slightly.
The next moment, everyone, including Billy, felt an overwhelming blade spirit fill the surroundings. Even from a distance, they felt a chill down their spines.
“Billy, is this the Realm of Swords and Blades?” Harleen turned to Billy.
“Yes,” Billy nodded. “It should be.”
The Realm of Swords and Blades was something they had encountered at the Blade and Sword Sect in the fourth-tier star domain. Most of the time, they had relied on the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass to resolve crises, neglecting this ultimate move. Hence, one shouldn’t rely too much on treasures; otherwise, losing them would render one powerless. Strength must come from oneself.
“Senior Scholar’s blade domain is incredibly strong!” Ivy remarked.
“Indeed,” Amber agreed. “And the range of this domain is quite exaggerated!”
The domain’s range was indeed vast, covering at least several kilometers.
“Is this a blade domain?!” Red Reaper’s voice echoed from a distance.
“Not bad, you recognize a blade domain!” The Scholar replied. “Take this strike; if you survive, you may leave!”
As he spoke, blade lights flashed, tearing through the void. Once the Realm of Swords and Blades was formed, the wielder became the master. Opponents with insufficient strength found their abilities significantly reduced within the domain. The closer to the center of the domain, the greater the impact; generally, one could only exert sixty to seventy percent of their strength at most. Near the edges of the domain, the impact was minimal, allowing for ninety percent strength.
Red Reaper understood this well and immediately tried to escape. However, it was too late; within the blade domain, his strength was already diminished, affecting his teleportation speed.
Without much suspense, the blade light flashed, and Red Reaper’s body was split in two, falling from mid-air with blood spraying everywhere. His face showed endless resentment! He was a genuine Holy Ancestry Realm expert, considered elite even in the sixth-tier star domain. Yet he died at the hands of a mere avatar and didn’t even know who his opponent was!
“Mr. Reaper!” Several of his companions cried out in pain from a distance.
“Retreat!” The seventh-rank Entering Ancestry Realm elder shouted and quickly flew back along their path, with others following closely behind. They were all strong cultivators and disappeared thousands of meters away in an instant.
Billy didn’t pursue them, letting them flee. Asura City had lost several high-level combatants today, which would trouble them for some time.
“Mr. Billy, here’s your blade!” The Scholar approached.
“Thank you for your help, Senior!” Billy said as he took back his blade. Without The Scholar’s intervention, he would have had to rely on the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass and even then would have struggled to defeat Red Reaper in the Heavenly Xuan Space.
“Just lending a hand,” The Scholar smiled faintly.
“The storage ring of Asura City’s chief has so little inside; he’s really poor!” Stout commented after examining Red Reaper’s storage ring.
“Mr. Billy, killing Asura City’s young lord won’t end well,” The Scholar warned Billy. “The current city lord of Asura City is at least a seventh-rank Holy Ancestry Realm cultivator. If he comes down from Silent Ruins, you’ll be in serious trouble.”
“Yes,” Billy nodded slightly. He had already considered this. His plan was to meet The Scholar and then find a remote place to hide with everyone before entering Nine Dragons Cauldron for some time to improve their cultivation before emerging again. Otherwise, if Asura City’s city lord found them in their current state, it would be a dead end!
“Mr. Billy, do you have any other plans?” The Scholar asked.
“Not at the moment,” Billy shook his head.
“Then let’s go back to Radiant City; I’ll take you somewhere,” The Scholar said.
“Senior, where exactly?” Casey asked.
“You’ll know when we get there,” The Scholar replied.
With that, he led everyone towards the starship station. Two and a half hours later, they arrived at the foot of a mountain about eight or nine hundred kilometers west of Radiant City’s west gate.
“Senior, why did you bring us here? There’s nothing around!” Stout said after scanning their surroundings.
“Up the mountain,” The Scholar replied.
A few minutes later, they reached halfway up the mountain. Before them lay a large flat area with towering trees but still visible remnants of ruins.
“Senior, if I’m not mistaken, this should be the ruins of Blade and Sword Sect from a thousand years ago?” Billy asked The Scholar.
