As soon as the words fell, Isabell and Roselyn chased after Blake Black.
The final battle between Phoenix City and Black Dragon City was inevitable. Since nearly half of Black Dragon City’s high-end combat power had come today, it was a golden opportunity for Phoenix City. She couldn’t let them leave alive. The reason for not fighting here was clearly to avoid harming ordinary citizens.
“Alright!” Over a thousand people responded in unison and quickly followed.
“Elder Finley, don’t let Zeke Black escape!” Isabell shouted as she chased.
“Rest assured, City Lord, he won’t get away!” replied Finley, a white-haired elder, as he sped towards the seventh-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm elder from Black Dragon City.
He was Phoenix City’s strongest warrior, half a step into the ninth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm. Being a level higher than his opponent, he closed the distance within moments.
“Boss, should we take action?” Azure Fang asked Billy.
“No need,” Billy shook his head. He had already observed that with Phoenix City’s strength, surrounding and annihilating the hundred men from Black Dragon City posed no difficulty.
“Let’s go down,” Billy said, leading everyone to descend into the City Lord’s Mansion courtyard.
“Kid, you ruined my plans! Give me your life!” A roar erupted from the right side of the void. It was The Bookish Beastmaster, charging at them with a ferocious expression.
“He’s back again?” Black Tortoise said with exasperation. “Does he have a death wish?”
“Die!” The Bookish Beastmaster shouted again, forming a mysterious seal with his hands and attacking the group. He had clearly overlooked one thing-White Feather was still above him!
Before his attack could reach halfway, a thunderous boom echoed. The Bookish Beastmaster fell like a meteor, crashing into the ground and creating a large pit. He lay there like mud, blood gushing from his mouth. He tried to speak but couldn’t utter a word before he died.
“Sixth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm, killed in one move. White Feather’s strength is impressive!” Stout remarked.
“White Feather has been in the Nine Dragons Cauldron for so long; it’s understandable he’s gotten stronger,” Vermilion Bird responded. “But we don’t know how strong he really is!”
“White Feather, well done!” Billy smiled at White Feather.
White Feather chirped twice and shook his head.
Then, everyone, including White Feather, landed in the City Lord’s Mansion courtyard.
“White Feather, can you speak now?” Felicia asked as she approached White Feather.
White Feather shook his head again.
“Last time we heard from the man in white robes, it seems White Feather needs to reach a higher star domain to speak,” Azure Dragon replied.
“Alright,” Felicia nodded and asked again, “White Feather, can you kill a ninth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm opponent now?”
The ninth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm was likely the martial arts pinnacle of this fifth-tier star domain.
White Feather chirped and nodded.
“Really? That’s great!” Stout exclaimed.
“In a few days, let’s explore this fifth-tier star domain and see if we can find any Hellhound Beasts to gather more cultivation resources.”
“By the way, Boss, can you activate the Nine Dragons Cauldron now?” White Tiger asked Billy.
“Still can’t,” Billy shook his head.
“Can’t?” Everyone was surprised.
“Boss, then why did the Nine Dragons Cauldron appear earlier?” White Tiger continued to ask.
“The previous owner of the Nine Dragons Cauldron released it,” Billy replied. “I can sense its location and barely communicate with it.”
When he saw those thousands of flying beasts earlier, his first thought was the Nine Dragons Cauldron. In that situation, he couldn’t think of any other way to resolve the crisis except for the Nine Dragons Cauldron. So he tried to activate it. However, the man in white robes had told him that his current cultivation level was too weak for the Nine Dragons Cauldron to acknowledge him or help him. Desperate, he pleaded with the man in white robes, who eventually agreed to let White Feather out. Initially, Billy wasn’t confident that White Feather could resolve the crisis alone but decided to give it a try. The result far exceeded his expectations.
“Boss, did the man in white robes say what level of cultivation you need to activate the Nine Dragons Cauldron against enemies?” Night Orchid asked.
“He didn’t say specifically, just told me not to think about it now because I’m far from it,” Billy responded.
“Alright,” everyone replied in unison.
“But he did mention that once I break through to the Breaking Emptiness Realm, although I can’t use the Nine Dragons Cauldron against enemies, I can use it for other purposes,” Billy added.
“What do you mean?” Everyone was puzzled again.
“The most direct use is that we should be able to enter the Nine Dragons Cauldron for cultivation. It’s said that cultivation speed inside is very fast, which is one of its core uses,” Billy explained.
“How fast? Compared to the Gathering Spirit Array?” Stout asked.
“According to Purple Spirit, cultivation speed inside is far beyond what the Gathering Spirit Array can offer,” Billy smiled faintly.
“Really?” everyone asked simultaneously, their eyes lighting up.
After chatting for a while longer, Isabell led everyone into the courtyard.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy, for your great kindness to Phoenix City!” Isabell bowed as she approached Billy and his group.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Over a thousand people bowed in gratitude simultaneously. Everyone sincerely thanked Billy. Without him today, not only they but also their friends and family in Phoenix City might not have survived.
“It was nothing,” Billy smiled lightly and looked at Isabell. “Are all the people from Black Dragon City dealt with?”
“Yes,” Roselyn nodded. “Not one escaped.”
“What are your plans next?” Billy asked Isabell.
“I wanted to discuss this with you,” Isabell said to Billy. “I just consulted with leaders of various forces in Phoenix City and we want to take this opportunity to capture Black Dragon City. Would you be interested in joining us?”
“Sure,” Billy smiled again. “When do we leave?”
“We want to strike while the iron is hot and go now,” Shepherd Frost said.
“Let’s go then,” Billy nodded.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Isabell bowed again in gratitude.
“It’s nothing,” Billy waved his hand dismissively.
Half an hour later, four or five hundred people from the City Lord’s Mansion and various forces were selected and headed towards the teleportation channel with Billy and his group.
