“Who are you? Do you know the consequences of meddling?” The elderly man, a fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm cultivator, shouted angrily.
“No matter who you are, as long as I’m here today, you won’t take down the Cooper family. Leave now, and you might live!” Billy responded.
“Such arrogance!” The elderly man continued, “Let me see what you’re made of!”
“If you make a move, you will die. Think carefully!” Billy replied.
“Young man, he is a fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm cultivator. Do not be careless!” One of the gray-robed elders warned Billy loudly.
“No problem!” Billy responded.
“Such arrogance!” The elderly man roared in anger.
As his voice fell, he raised his hand towards Billy. The void twisted into a vortex, causing everyone to feel suffocated.
Next, a solidified spear shot out from the center of the vortex with immense power.
“Die!” Billy said coldly, as his wild blade condensed into the Phantom Blade Technique and slashed out.
The spear shattered with a loud explosion, tearing a dark rift in the void. The oppressive force vanished, but the blade light continued its momentum.
“Huh?!”
Seeing the blade light rapidly enlarge in his vision, the elderly man’s pupils shrank to the size of pinpoints.
Without time to think, he quickly raised his hand to form a barrier.
The barrier offered no resistance; the blade light pierced through it and left a gaping wound three to four inches deep on his body, exposing bone.
“Ugh…” The elderly man groaned as he was blasted seven or eight hundred meters away.
To his despair, before he could stabilize himself, a second blade light was already upon him.
After the blade light passed, a head flew into the air, its face frozen in disbelief.

Soon after, Billy and the Cooper family members landed in the courtyard.
“I am Garrett Cooper. Thank you for your great kindness, young man!”
The gray-robed elder led the Cooper family members forward to bow in gratitude. He was the patriarch of the Cooper family in Phoenix City.
“No need for thanks!” Billy raised his hand and asked, “Who were those people? Why did they attack your Cooper family?”
“Young man, may I ask your name?” Garrett Cooper inquired.
“Billy,” he replied.
“Billy?” Garrett Cooper was momentarily stunned before a look of surprise crossed his face. “Could it be Mr. Billy?”
Although he had never met Billy, the ability to challenge higher ranks and the surname made it easy to guess his identity.
Not only Garrett, but also the other Cooper family members were taken aback.
“Indeed,” Billy nodded with a faint smile.
“So it is Mr. Billy!” Garrett Cooper bowed deeply. “Our young lady has spoken highly of Mr. Billy.”

“Black Dragon City?” Casey was taken aback. “One of the four superpowers in the fifth-tier star domain?”
“Exactly,” Garrett nodded.
“Why did people from Black Dragon City come to Phoenix City to attack your Cooper family?” Casey continued to ask.
“Our branch is the strongest in this fifth-tier star domain and serves as the main base of the Cooper family here,” Garrett explained.
“Black Dragon City was ordered to eliminate our branch first.”
“Who ordered them?” White Tiger asked.
“Asura City,” Garrett’s eyes flashed with dread.
“Asura City?” Judge was puzzled. “That name sounds formidable. Are they very strong?”
“Asura City is a power in the sixth-tier star domain and one of the strongest,” Garrett nodded.
“I remember Miss Cooper mentioned she killed some people with significant backgrounds. Were they from Asura City?” Soul Chaser asked.
“Yes,” Garrett nodded again.
“The young master of Asura City wanted to take our young lady as a concubine and sent people to propose marriage. In her anger, she killed them all!”
“Bold move!” Soul Chaser commented.
“Elder Garrett, has Asura City officially declared war on your Cooper family?” Casey asked.
“In a way,” Garrett nodded. “But their actions in the sixth-tier star domain are still limited.”
“In that star domain, Asura City isn’t the only power; they have rivals too. So they started their actions in the fourth and fifth-tier star domains.”
“What is Black Dragon City’s strength?” Casey continued to ask.
“The four powers in this fifth-tier star domain are quite similar in strength. The highest cultivation in Black Dragon City should be late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm,” Garrett said.

“Elder Garrett, are they from the City Lord’s Mansion?” Harleen asked.
“Yes,” Garrett nodded.
“What is Phoenix City’s relationship with Black Dragon City?” Harleen continued to ask.
“They used to coexist peacefully, but in recent years, Black Dragon City’s ambitions have grown. Conflicts have become frequent,” Garrett explained again.
“In particular, over the past year, Black Dragon City has been receiving support from the Beast Wranglers’ Alliance and seems intent on unifying the fifth-tier star domain.”
