“Mr. Billy, count us in for the trip to Ice City!” Mitchell Monroe said.
“Grand Elder, Elder Samuel, you don’t need to come. This matter has already implicated you enough…” Billy responded.
“Mr. Billy, you’re being too polite!” Samuel interjected. “Besides, Frost Palace has killed so many of our people. It’s time to settle the score!”
“But…” Billy started to say.
“No time to waste, let’s go!” Mitchell Monroe cut him off and, along with Samuel, flew towards the teleportation portal.
Billy thought for a moment and then followed with Harleen.
That afternoon, the four of them appeared in Ice City.
As the headquarters of Frost Palace, one of the four major powers in this fifth-tier star domain, Ice City was comparable in scale to the City of the Unclaimed.
“Grand Elder, do you know where Frost Palace is located?” Billy asked Mitchell Monroe after entering the city.
“Yes!” Mitchell Monroe pointed towards the west of the city. “It’s on that snowy mountain. The City Lord’s Mansion is at the foot of the mountain.”
“Alright!” Billy nodded.
The four of them flew directly towards the west of the city.
“Who dares to fly in Ice City? Do you have a death wish?” Five figures quickly rose from different parts of the city below.
One man pointed at Billy and his group. “Who are you…”
Before he could finish his sentence, a blade light flashed past him.
The man looked down in disbelief at the line of blood on his body before splitting in two and falling.
“Courting death!” The remaining four roared in anger and attacked.
Before they could get halfway, several blade lights flashed, and they were all cut in half like the first man.
Billy had already sentenced Frost Palace to death in his heart and showed no mercy.
After killing the five men, the four continued on their way and arrived above the City Lord’s Mansion within ten minutes.
“How dare you!” A furious voice echoed from the mansion below.
Nearly a hundred figures rose into the air.
Each one was strong, with the weakest being in the mid-to-late Entering Emptiness Realm and the strongest in the second-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.
“To dare act so arrogantly in Ice City, you must have a death wish…” an old man shouted angrily.
“Kill!” Billy replied coldly, charging forward with his blade.
With his bloodline power activated, Billy’s cultivation had reached the eighth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm. A single Heavenly Fury Slash could kill an early-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm opponent.
Harleen was also strong. Although she was only a fifth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm, she could kill a first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm opponent when fighting at full strength.
Mitchell Monroe and Samuel were both Breaking Emptiness Realm cultivators and had no trouble dealing with these opponents.
In less than ten minutes, all one hundred enemies had fallen from the sky, either dead or severely injured.
Billy scanned the City Lord’s Mansion with his spiritual power and confirmed there were no late-stage Perfection Emptiness Realm experts inside.
“To the mountain!”
He led the group towards the snowy mountain behind the mansion.
Before they had gone a kilometer, dozens of snowballs of various sizes came hurtling down from the mountain, stirring up the air violently.
“Mr. Billy, be careful!” Mitchell Monroe warned as he struck out with his palm.
A loud explosion echoed through the air as three snowballs exploded simultaneously, sending snowflakes flying everywhere.
Billy and the others also attacked, and after a flurry of blade and sword lights, all fifty snowballs were destroyed.
As they prepared to move forward, a dense barrage of ice shards shot towards them like arrows, blocking out the sky.
“Tricks of a small-time magician!”
Mitchell Monroe scoffed, quickly moving forward as violent waves of air surged out from him.
Samuel wasn’t idle either, his hands spinning as powerful gusts of wind roared out.
The ice shards weren’t reinforced by any array and couldn’t withstand attacks from Breaking Emptiness Realm experts.
In a few blinks of an eye, all the ice shards turned into ice particles.
At that moment, a powerful aura swept over from the direction of the snowy mountain.
In an instant, the ice particles in the air gathered together as if they had a mind of their own and formed a massive axe-shaped weapon that slashed down towards them.
“Hmm?!” Mitchell Monroe and Samuel’s pupils contracted upon sensing its power.
“Mr. Billy, Lady Harleen, retreat!” They shouted simultaneously as they unleashed their full strength to counterattack.
A deafening explosion echoed through the air as Mitchell Monroe and Samuel spat out blood and were sent flying a kilometer away.
The difference in strength was clear; their opponent was obviously stronger than them.
“Grand Elder, Elder Samuel, are you alright?” Billy called out loudly.
“We’re fine!” They responded simultaneously.
“Mr. Billy, be careful!” Samuel added.
“Got it!” Billy nodded and looked towards the group flying over from the mountain.
Leading them was a man in his fifties or sixties, dressed in white robes with pale skin like wax and blood-red eyes.
This man was Cole West, sect master of Frost Palace!
Behind him was another vice master of Frost Palace, Jedidiah West!
According to Morgan Muir from Array Alliance, one vice master was a fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm expert while the other was fourth-rank. But now it seemed that wasn’t accurate. The vice master Billy had killed last time, Silas West, was fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm. The current vice master was also fifth-rank.
Besides them, there were two other early-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm experts and nearly thirty Perfection Emptiness Realm cultivators, half of whom were mid-to-late Perfection Emptiness Realm.
“Grand Elder, is that man leading them Frost Palace’s sect master? What’s his cultivation level?” Harleen asked Mitchell Monroe.
“Yes!” Mitchell Monroe nodded. “He’s eighth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm!”
“So strong?” Harleen was slightly surprised.
“Yes!” Mitchell Monroe’s face turned serious as he looked at Billy. “Mr. Billy, are you confident?”
On their way here, he had told Billy that Frost Palace’s sect master was definitely a late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm expert. If they weren’t confident, they should reconsider their plan. But Billy had assured him there was no problem, hence his question now.
“No big deal! Leave it to me!” Billy responded confidently.
As they spoke, Cole West’s group arrived nearby.
“You must be Billy?” Cole West glanced at the four before focusing on Billy.
“Where are Opal and Amber?” Billy asked coldly.
“I’m curious how someone with your cultivation managed to kill Silas West,” Cole West continued without answering. He had already assessed Billy’s cultivation as sixth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm while Silas West was fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm. He couldn’t fathom how Billy had done it.
“If you don’t want Frost Palace to be wiped out from this star domain entirely, you’d better release them!” Billy retorted without addressing his question.
