“Thank you, Grand Elder and Elder Samuel!” Billy and his companions bowed slightly to the two elders.
“You’re welcome, it was a small effort,” the two elders replied with a smile.
“Grand Elder, Elder Samuel, these four storage rings contain many cultivation resources that might be useful to you. Please accept them,” Billy said, handing over the rings.
“Mr. Billy, there’s no need to be so polite. You should keep them for yourselves,” Mitchell Monroe responded.
“Grand Elder, please accept them, or we will feel uneasy,” Harleen insisted.
“Really, there’s no need,” Mitchell Monroe said with a smile. “Elder Samuel and I have already found the Netherworld Clan’s treasury. We can just take what we need from there.”
“What?” Stout exclaimed. “Grand Elder, you really found the Netherworld Clan’s treasury?”
“Yes,” Mitchell Monroe confirmed with another smile.
“Where is it? Can you take us to see it?” Stout asked eagerly.
“Sure,” Mitchell Monroe agreed.
A short while later, they were back at the top of the cliff. Under the guidance of Mitchell Monroe and Samuel, they flew towards the left side. After about half an hour, they landed in a canyon where a medium-sized cave awaited them.
Inside the cave, they discovered a vast space of nearly ten thousand square meters. Stout’s mouth watered at the sight of the treasures within.
Half an hour later, after filling their storage rings with the contents of the treasury, they flew towards their five-tier starship. Mitchell Monroe and Samuel casually selected some cultivation resources from the treasury, though these resources were not particularly useful for Breaking Emptiness Realm experts.
“Purple Spirit, you can start now,” Billy communicated telepathically.
“Really? Great!” Purple Spirit replied, emerging from Billy’s body and flying into the air.
“Hmm?” Mitchell Monroe and Samuel both paused in surprise upon seeing Purple Spirit.
“Mr. Billy, is that a Spiritual Line Origin?” Mitchell Monroe asked after a brief pause.
“Exactly,” Billy confirmed with a smile.
As they spoke, Purple Spirit began to absorb the surrounding spiritual energy at an astonishing rate.
“Wow, Purple Spirit absorbs spiritual energy really fast!” Stout exclaimed.
“It certainly is fast,” Casey added. “At this rate, it could drain all the spiritual energy from the City of the Unclaimed in less than half an hour!”
“The spiritual energy here is so dense that Purple Spirit’s power should increase significantly after absorbing it,” Stout continued.
“Obviously,” Ivy nodded.
In less than fifteen minutes, Billy and his companions could feel the surrounding spiritual energy depleting rapidly.
“Billy, I’m feeling full. I need to go back into your body to digest this energy,” Purple Spirit said contentedly before returning to Billy’s body.
Everyone else was speechless.
Soon after, Billy and his companions boarded their starship and headed towards the City of the Unclaimed. Without encountering any cosmic storms, their journey was much faster than before. They remained silent, each focusing on their own cultivation.
On the morning of the eighth day, Billy’s sound transmission stone activated.
“Courting death!”
After hearing the message, a cold killing intent emanated from him.
“Billy, what’s wrong?” Harleen asked from nearby.
“Azure Fang sent a message,” Billy replied gravely. “There’s trouble in the City of the Unclaimed!”
“Trouble? What kind of trouble?” Harleen asked urgently.
Casey and the others, including Mitchell Monroe and Samuel, also looked over with concern.
“The people from Frost Palace have gone to the City of the Unclaimed!” Billy answered.
“What?!” Harleen and Casey exclaimed simultaneously.
“Mr. Billy, do you have a grudge against Frost Palace?” Mitchell Monroe asked after a moment of surprise.
“Yes,” Billy nodded. “I killed their second young master and vice master.”
Mitchell Monroe and Samuel were both taken aback.
“What’s the situation now?” Ivy asked.
“The Alchemists’ Alliance and Heavenly Scent Pavilion have suffered heavy casualties. Azure Dragon and Azure Fang are seriously injured, and Opal and Amber have been captured by Frost Palace!” A fierce light flashed in Billy’s eyes. He had not intended to deal with Frost Palace again, but they had forced his hand.
“Why did they capture Opal and Amber?” Harleen asked.
“I don’t know,” Billy shook his head.
“Boss, what should we do now? Should we go directly to Ice City?” Stout asked.
“Mr. Billy, let’s return to the City of the Unclaimed first,” Mitchell Monroe suggested. “From there, we can use a teleportation channel to reach Ice City in just a few hours.”
“Alright,” Billy agreed with a nod.
The starship sped up immediately. That evening, they arrived at the City of the Unclaimed.
“Mr. Billy, I’ll head back to Heavenly Scent Pavilion first. When you’re ready to go to Frost Palace, come find me there,” Mitchell Monroe said to Billy.
“Please convey my apologies to Miss Monroe for involving Heavenly Scent Pavilion in this mess,” Billy responded. “I’ll visit Alchemists’ Alliance first and then come to Heavenly Scent Pavilion later.”
“Mr. Billy, there’s no need for such formality,” Mitchell Monroe replied before heading towards Heavenly Scent Pavilion with a farewell wave to the others.
Ten minutes later, Billy and his companions arrived at Alchemists’ Alliance headquarters.
“Mr. Billy, Elder Samuel!” An elder from Alchemists’ Alliance quickly approached them.
“How is Chieftain Liana?” Billy asked.
“The chieftain is severely injured and has been unconscious since the attack,” the elder replied. “Your friends are also badly hurt…”
“Where are they?” Billy interrupted.
“In the main hall,” the elder said, leading them towards the main building.
The situation was worse than Billy had imagined. The battle had resulted in two to three hundred casualties on their side, with thirty to forty deaths and fifty severe injuries, including Liana. Azure Dragon and Azure Fang were barely clinging to life, while others were also gravely injured. Without the help of Alchemists’ Alliance and Heavenly Scent Pavilion, Azure Dragon and Azure Fang would have surely perished.
Seeing the dire situation in the hall, a cold glint flashed in Billy’s eyes as he exuded a murderous aura. Frost Palace had sealed its fate with him.
Billy and his companions began treating everyone’s injuries. Fortunately, his bloodline had miraculous healing properties. After two hours of intense effort, they managed to stabilize all the critically injured individuals.
Once this was done, Billy made a quick trip to Heavenly Scent Pavilion and worked until dawn before leaving.
“Boss, Frost Palace has threatened that if they don’t see you within three days, they’ll harm Opal and Amber!” Azure Fang informed Billy early in the morning.
Billy nodded and addressed everyone. “Ivy, you stay here with Casey and Stout to continue healing everyone. Harleen and I will go to Ice City.”
“Billy, it’s too dangerous for just you and Harleen to go alone!” Ivy protested.
“Boss, I can’t do much here anyway. Let me come with you!” Casey added.
“No, you stay here,” Billy insisted. “You and Stout should find time to undergo Thunder Tribulation and break through as soon as possible.”
“But just you and Harleen…” Casey began to argue again.
“We’ll be fine,” Billy interrupted firmly.
With that, he set off with Harleen towards the teleportation channel without notifying anyone from Alchemists’ Alliance or Heavenly Scent Pavilion. However, as they neared the teleportation channel, two figures descended from above-it was Mitchell Monroe and Samuel.
