With a resounding crash, Firedrake swallowed the poisonous dragon whole, dissolving it completely. Since ancient times, fire has been the natural nemesis of all evil.
Clayton’s expression changed slightly. He quickly raised a white bone banner with his right hand. As it waved in the wind, a sinister blood-red gust arose from the ground. Even more terrifying, the wind carried countless skeletal ghost soldiers. In an instant, a tide of bones surged towards Leo.
Leo moved his right hand, and Firedrake charged into the crowd of skeletons. Roaring and rampaging, Firedrake shattered the bones into fine powder wherever it went.
Seeing this, Clayton frowned and shook the bone banner again. A giant skeletal dragon emerged from the sinister wind. Under Leo’s command, Firedrake collided with the skeletal dragon in mid-air, resulting in a thunderous explosion. Flames scattered, the skeletal dragon shattered, and colorful lights filled the sky. The bone banner also exploded into pieces, leaving only a bare pole.
Clayton was furious and anxious. He threw away the pole and summoned a cyan cauldron bell. A clear bell sound echoed as cyan light radiated brilliantly, layer upon layer, towards Firedrake.
In a flash, a loud explosion erupted on the chaotic battlefield. The cyan light struck Firedrake, reducing it to ashes. Leo formed seals with his hands again, summoning a giant ice dragon that hurled thousands of ice spikes at the cyan light.
Amid continuous explosions, countless ice spikes pierced through the layers of cyan light, protecting the ice dragon as it charged forward. “Damn it!” Clayton roared angrily, intensifying his control over the cauldron bell. The bell’s sound grew faster and stronger, and soon the ice dragon exploded in mid-air, turning into a beautiful snow shower.
In the midst of the snow, Leo’s figure vanished. Clayton was shocked and looked around warily. Zeke was also astonished; even with his power, he couldn’t detect Leo’s presence. The battlefield fell into an eerie silence, with only snowflakes dancing in the air.
Clayton was under immense psychological pressure. He didn’t dare make any rash moves, fearing that Leo might be lurking nearby, ready to strike at any moment. Sweat soaked through Clayton’s clothes as his breathing became rapid.
Suddenly, seven earth waves erupted from the scorched ground around Clayton. Seven beams of golden light emerged from the ground and converged in mid-air. In Clayton’s astonished and fearful eyes, a shield made of brilliant starlight quickly formed around him. Above him, seven stars arranged in a dipper shape appeared-the Big Dipper!
Leo reappeared with a flicker of his figure. Zeke was in awe of Leo’s impressive mastery of mystical arts. Clayton was even more terrified; even a fool could see that his situation was dire.
Without wasting words, Leo coldly snorted and pointed at the Big Dipper formation. With a loud boom, starlight intensified within the formation. Seven points emitted red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple rays of light that densely swept towards Clayton.
Clayton was terrified and shouted desperately, “Blood Spirit Possession, now!” A flash of blood light and a piercing shriek erupted within the Big Dipper formation. When the light faded, Clayton was gone, replaced by a giant centipede over ten meters long. The centipede’s body was blood-red with menacing legs and fangs, spewing blood mist to resist the colorful rays.
The Big Dipper formation unleashed various magical forces-wind, thunder, ice, fire-attacking the centipede in turns. The giant centipede couldn’t withstand the assault and rolled on the ground in agony, on the verge of death.
Zeke couldn’t stand by any longer and shouted coldly, “Stop!” He summoned a white jade scepter that radiated auspicious light to strike the Big Dipper formation.
Maximilian had been watching Zeke closely. Seeing Zeke trying to break the formation to save Clayton, Maximilian roared angrily and unleashed his fighting spirit to intercept the scepter mid-air. In a loud clash, both the scepter and fighting spirit shattered equally.
But in that moment, the battle within the Big Dipper formation had already concluded. The giant centipede was struck by a thunderbolt and shattered into pieces before vanishing completely.
Leo waved his hand to disperse the Big Dipper formation. Seeing Leo’s victory, Maximilian laughed heartily, “Zeke, you’re all alone now.”
Zeke failed to save Clayton and felt humiliated. “Hmph! It’s not over yet. Maximilian, today it’s either you or me!” Zeke spread his robe and ascended into the air.
Maximilian wasn’t intimidated either. He harnessed his boundless fighting spirit and charged at Zeke like a fiery meteor.
Zeke glared fiercely, “Bring it on! Feel my palm strike!” He unleashed a palm strike filled with blood light towards Maximilian.
Maximilian showed no fear and countered with a punch imbued with fighting spirit that shattered the blood light and continued towards Zeke.
Zeke was slightly surprised but quickly retaliated with another stronger blood light that finally broke Maximilian’s attack outside his body.
By then, Maximilian had closed in with a lion-like roar and attacked Zeke with fighting spirit-filled fists.
Zeke’s fists glowed with fierce blood light as he fought back against Maximilian. The two battled fiercely in mid-air, their powers clashing violently.
Leo watched silently without intervening.
After thirty rounds of intense combat without a clear victor, Zeke grew anxious. He was alone now; if he couldn’t defeat Maximilian soon and Leo joined in, it would be his end.
Thinking this through, Zeke let out a sharp cry and unleashed his full power to push Maximilian back. He shouted menacingly, “Ten Directions of Heaven and Earth, Blood Fiend Shock!”
As he spoke, Zeke’s body radiated intense blood light that formed into a blood-red sphere rolling in mid-air.
Maximilian was taken aback as countless blood-light tendrils extended from the sphere towards him.
Maximilian’s face changed drastically. “It’s Blood Fiend!” He gathered all his fighting spirit and created a radiant sun in mid-air to counter the sinister Blood Fiend.
The fighting spirit shattered the blood-light tendrils as it passed through them.
Seeing things go awry, Zeke transformed back into his true form and fled southeast with a trail of blood light.
Maximilian roared in anger, “Zeke! You won’t escape!” He channeled his fighting spirit into a silver streak that intercepted Zeke.
Zeke had no choice but to dispel his blood light and glare at Maximilian menacingly. “Ramsey! Don’t push me too far or I’ll take you down with me!”
