Mr Martins immediately dialed his lawyer, Eric Duma’s number. When it was connected he said, “Eric, please press charges against Aiden Martins.
He falsely accused my daughter of murdering his mother’s baby and of threatening my grandson’s life.”
Eric was dumbfounded and replied, “I am currently at the police station. I will immediately press charges against Mr Martins.
Please send me the address where the police could find him to arrest him, Sir.” Then they hung up. Mr Martins sent Aiden’s mansion address.
Aiden was so scared he nearly peed on himself and said, “I am not lying, Dad. I have proof.” When Aiden was talking to his mother he secretly recorded their conversation. He then sent the voice recording to his father.
After his father had listened to the voice recording, he took his phone and dialed Dr Fowler’s number. When it was connected he said, “Hello Dr Fowler, I need your help.
My ex-wife is accusing my daughter of killing her child. Do you know when Elizabeth was pregnant?”
Dr Fowler sighed and replied, “Hello CEO Martins, Elizabeth lost her baby last year, June. She was six months pregnant, and she lost her baby due to complications.” CEO Martins thanked Dr Fowler, and then they hung up.
Mr Martins dialed his daughter’s number and asked, “Hello Sweetheart, how is my precious grandson?”
Avery smiled brightly and replied, “Your grandson is so sweet, Daddy. He sleeps most of the time. How is my baby brother, Alexis, doing?”
Her father smiled broadly and replied, “I am glad, Sweetheart. Your baby brother is teething. He is giving his mother a hard time. Sweetheart, when did you last see your mother?”
Avery furrowed her beautiful brows and replied, “I met her in the hospital corridors early last year. I greeted her but she ignored me. She looked delighted. Why are you asking, Daddy?”
Her father decided to tell her the truth and replied, “Your mother is accusing you of killing her child.” Avery was so shocked and asked, “What? When? I didn’t even know that she was pregnant. She is lying, Daddy?”
Her father looked at Aiden and replied, “I know, Sweetheart. Don’t worry about this matter. I will take care of it. Your mother is ungrateful. You put my grandson at risk to save her life.
Instead of thanking you, she is thinking of ways to destroy you. I have disowned Aiden as my son. He has been repeatedly rude to my wife. I have been tolerating him since he was young. Enough is enough.”
Avery was dumbfounded. She didn’t ask her father to forgive Aiden. He deserved it. Then they hung up.
He looked at Aiden and said, “You will be hearing from my lawyer. Please leave my office. Tell your precious mother to be mentally prepared.” Aiden tried to apologize to his father to no avail. He left his father’s office with a heavy heart.
At the Taylor mansion, Mr Taylor senior was with John, and Xavier in the living room. Xavier was showing them Baby Axl photos.
His grandfather was beaming with joy. He couldn’t wait for his precious granddaughter in love to be discharged from the hospital.
At that moment, Xavier’s phone started ringing. He smiled brightly when he saw the caller ID. He excused himself and said, “Hello, Grandpa. How are you doing?”
Grandpa Martins laughed out loud and replied, “Hello, Son. Avery told me that my precious grandson is so sweet. My heart is full of gratitude to the Lord. Son, I just sent you a voice recording. Please do as you see fit with that information.”
Xavier thanked his father-in-law, then he walked back to the living room. He looked at the elders and said, “My father-in-law has sent me a voice recording. Let’s listen to it.”
When the elders heard Elizabeth threatening to kill their precious treasure, they became angry. Her grandfather asked his precious grandson to forward the voice recording to him. Was the Taylor family easy to bully?
He then forwarded the voice recording to the Minister of Police. He called him and said, “Good day, Minister. How is your lovely family?” The Minister smiled and replied, “All is well with my family, Mr Taylor. How is your family?”
Mr Taylor senior was fuming with anger and replied, “The Lord has blessed the Taylor family with a great-grandson. I just forwarded you the voice recording. I want this person to be arrested today.” The Minister promised that he would send police officers to arrest the culprit.
Elizabeth was sleeping peacefully when the police officers disturbed her. She was so nervous, but she managed to calm herself. She looked at them and asked, “I think you are in the wrong private ward. Who are you looking for?”
The police officer looked at her and replied, “We are in the right place, Miss Parker. You are under arrest for falsely accusing Mrs Taylor of killing your baby and by involving your son, Aiden, in your crimes to kill Mrs Taylor’s son.”
They read her rights, then they handcuffed her. Since she had not recovered yet, they left two police officers outside her private ward door.
Elizabeth was so scared that she cried. How did Aiden betray her after everything she had done for him?
After Aiden left the Martins Group he was heartbroken. He was driving aimlessly. He parked his car beside the road and cried. His beloved mother lied to him again. She wanted him to get into trouble by killing an innocent child without a reason.
It was clear to him that his mother had a space for her beloved niece in her heart. She always used him as a tool to fight Avery. His father was good to both of them. He had showered him with love since he was born.
He wished he could turn the hands of time. He vowed in his heart that he would never trust his mother ever again. He was so hungry he decided to go to His Mercy restaurant to eat.
After he finished eating, the waiter smiled and placed the bill in front of him. He looked at the waiter puzzled and asked, “What is the meaning of this?”
The waiter explained, “Sir, we have received an e-mail from CEO Martins indicating that you are no longer his son.”
Aiden felt humiliated and embarrassed. He took his wallet and handed the debit card to the waiter. He immediately left the restaurant.
He thought his father was just scaring him trying to teach him a lesson. Unbeknownst to him, his father was as serious as a heart attack.
He decided to go to the hospital to confront his mother. She had been feeding him lies since he was young. He wanted to see how she would get herself out of the web of lies.
When he arrived at his mother’s private ward, he was shocked to see the police officers guarding his mother’s door.
They looked at him and one of them said, “Miss Parker is not allowed to see any visitors unless they are on the nominated visitor’s list. Miss Parker is a suspect in a serious crime. Come back tomorrow to check if your name is added to the list.”
Aiden was dumbfounded. He thought his father was joking when he asked his lawyer, Eric Duma, to press charges against him. He was so scared to go to his mansion. What if the police officers were waiting for him?
