Elizabeth was plotting against Avery and her newborn baby. Since she couldn’t do it herself, she would use Aiden to kill his sister’s son.
Unbeknownst to her, no one was allowed to enter Taylor’s private wards without permission. Xavier’s bodyguards were standing outside the lifts and the private ward guarding young Mrs Taylor and Baby Axl.
While Elizabeth was in deep thought, Aiden entered his mother’s private ward smiling. He looked at his mother and said, “I am glad that your surgery was successful, Mom.”
Her mother’s eyes lit up and said, “Thank you, Son, for saving my life. Where is Lily?” Aiden replied, “Lily is in police custody. Please don’t be lenient to her, Mom. She deserves to pay for everything bad she has done to my family.”
His mother nodded her head and replied, “True. I will never let her go. I will make sure that she spends her whole life in prison.”
Aiden was satisfied with his mother’s response and said, “Mom, you won’t believe what Dad said to me. He asked me to thank Avery for saving your life. Wasn’t she doing her job?”
His mother was overjoyed when she heard her beloved son’s words. She looked at her son with eyes full of tears and said, “Son, I am sincerely sorry for everything bad I have done to you.
I was not a good mother to you. Please find it in your heart to forgive me.” Then she wiped her crocodile tears.
Aiden was taken aback by his mother’s words. He smiled broadly and replied, “This is water under the bridge, Mom. I forgive you and I love you so much.”
His mother smiled and said, “Thank you so much, my beloved son, for your forgiveness. It means a lot to me. I heard that Avery gave birth to a son. I am so angry because she killed my baby.
Avery gave me some medicine which led me to lose my baby. I want her child gone.” Then she cried sorrowfully.
Aiden was dumbfounded to hear that his mother had a child with her playboy. A surge of anger rose in Aiden’s heart, and he promised his mother that he would destroy Avery.
His mother smiled when her son was not looking and said, “After I lost my child I have a void in my heart. Help me, my son.”
Aiden hugged his mother and replied, “I will avenge you, Mom.” Then he went to the reception desk and asked, “Good day, I am Avery Taylor’s brother. Could you please tell me her private ward number?”
The receptionist shook her head and replied, “I am not allowed to divulge that information to strangers, Sir. Please ask Dr Taylor to send her bodyguard to fetch you.” Aiden was so frustrated but nothing he could do.
He went back to his mother’s ward. His mother was surprised to see him so quickly and asked, “Did you manage to kill that brat?”
Aiden shook his head and replied, “Avery’s ward is heavily guarded by her husband’s bodyguards. It is impossible to touch her and the baby.
Don’t worry, Mom, I will ask Dad to take me with him when he is visiting his precious daughter.” His mother praised him and said, “You are such an intelligent child, Aiden. I am thinking of going back to your father. What do you think, Son?”
Aiden was over the moon. He looked at his mother and replied, “This is a great idea, Mom. Dad is so shameless. He married a gold digger who was after his wealth. He knows about it, but he doesn’t care.”
His mother didn’t correct him about her ex-husband’s wife. Lily told her that the current Mrs Martins was from a wealthy family, and she married him for love.
She smiled at her son and said, “Son, we have two days to avenge my dead child. Please go to your father and tell him that you want to visit your nephew. I know your father will be so happy to see you supporting your sister.”
Aiden nodded his head, then he bade his mother goodbye and left. On the way, he met Bridgette’s father. Mr Evans smiled at Aiden, but he just ignored him. He drove his car to the Martins Group.
He knocked on the door after his father permitted him to enter. He looked at his father and said, “Dad, you have to stop chasing the slay queens while my mother is fighting for her life in the hospital. You are so….”
His father interrupted him and said coldly, “I have tolerated you enough, Aiden. I have done everything to be a good father to you, but you always take your mother’s side.
From today onwards, you are no longer my son. I cut ties with you. Don’t even come to my funeral. I give you one week to move out of my mansion. Why don’t you go back to your beloved mother’s mansion?”
Aiden was so shocked he didn’t see it coming. He started panicking and said, “Dad, you can’t do this to me. I am your only son.” His father laughed out loud and replied, “I am sorry to burst your bubble, Aiden. You are not my only son.”
Then he showed him the photo of Baby Alexis. Aiden couldn’t believe his eyes. He was replaced by a gold digger’s son. He was so scared and said, “I am sorry, Dad. Please forgive me. I will go and apologize to your wife.”
His father’s eyes were icy cold, and he replied, “Your apology is cheap, and I will never forgive you for being rude to my wife and me. I had never raised my voice to my father, even if he was wrong.
It is clear to me that I failed to raise you well. I want to teach you a lesson that you will never forget. Pack your things and go out of my company. You are fired. I will stop all the allowances, and you are banned from all the Martins businesses.”
Tears streamed down Aiden’s face. He felt abandoned, and his heart was overwhelmed with bitterness.
Something snapped inside his heart and he said, “Mr Martins, please tell your precious daughter that I will avenge my mother for killing her child.” His father was dumbfounded and asked, “Aiden, what are you talking about?”
Aiden smirked and replied, “Don’t you hear good, Mr Martins? Please listen attentively. Your precious daughter killed my mother’s baby and I will ensure that she loses her son too.”
His father’s face darkened and asked, “Are you sure it was Avery, not Lily, who killed your mother’s baby? When did she get pregnant? I will not let you off for falsely accusing my daughter and for threatening my grandson.”
Aiden was overwhelmed with nervousness and replied, “I am not falsely accusing your precious daughter, Mr Martins.”
