The headquarters of the Flying Leopards used to be a bandit’s lair. After the bandits were eradicated, the Flying Leopards took over and made it their stronghold. The mountain’s terrain was extremely steep, making it nearly impregnable. Attacking the mountain was no easy task.
At 8:30 PM, darkness enveloped the land. Only a sliver of moonlight filtered through, casting faint shadows of swaying trees.
Ten minutes later, Chris Shelby led an army of one hundred thousand to the mountain. He looked up at it; this was the highest peak in Willow Creek. The mountain was easy to defend and hard to attack. Chris had to admit, the leader of the Flying Leopards had chosen well for a hideout. Anyone attempting to attack would pay a heavy price. But for Chris Shelby, this mountain was nothing.
“Attack!” Chris commanded with a wave of his hand.
“Charge!” echoed through the air as one hundred thousand East Coast Securities members surged up the mountain like wolves.
“Enemy attack!” shouted Flying Leopards members as they realized they were under siege. The entire mountain erupted into chaos as countless Flying Leopards members awoke from their sleep, hurriedly dressed, and rushed out.
A fierce battle broke out inevitably. Chris Shelby watched for a moment but quickly lost interest. According to his investigation, the Flying Leopards only had fifty thousand members. Chris brought double that number, all seasoned and well-trained soldiers, unlike the ragtag Flying Leopards. If he couldn’t succeed with these odds, his years of experience would have been in vain.
Led by Bull, East Coast Securities members charged fearlessly and rapidly advanced. Within minutes, Bull and his men reached the mountaintop. From there, Chris saw the entire Flying Leopards headquarters-a vast area consisting of hundreds of fortresses. Initially, it had been just a few dilapidated houses before the Flying Leopards took over and expanded it into what it was today.
Flying Leopards members wielding machetes rushed out from these fortresses. Chris paid them no mind; Bull and his men could handle them. His eyes were fixed on a luxurious villa at the far end of the headquarters-the residence of Heathcliff Hunter, leader of the Flying Leopards. The villa was surrounded by a ten-meter-high wall and guarded by elite members.
Chris turned to Bull and said, “No matter what it takes, end this battle before dawn!”
“Yes!” Bull responded with a wave of his hand.
Shadows darted forward-fifty thousand East Coast Guards reservists exuding formidable energy. These reservists became Bull’s strongest force after ten thousand East Coast Guards followed Tiger to the border battlefield.
Bull commanded fiercely, “Kill them all! Leave no one alive!”
As these fifty thousand reservists entered the battlefield, everything changed dramatically. Instantly, East Coast Securities gained absolute dominance while Flying Leopards members were slaughtered and forced into disarray.
With Flying Leopards’ morale shattered, their complete collapse was inevitable. Within moments, nearly thirty thousand outer members were annihilated.
Soon after, a branch head of the Flying Leopards was captured and brought before Chris Shelby.
Chris asked directly, “Did you capture a girl today? Where is she?”
The branch head, terrified, replied quickly, “Your Majesty of East Coast, the girl is imprisoned in the villa!”
Seeing these East Coast Securities members confirmed that Chris Shelby himself had taken action this time.
Chris asked calmly, “What’s inside the villa?”
The branch head shook his head and said, “I don’t know!”
“Don’t know? Do you want to die?” Chris’s eyes turned cold.
The branch head smiled bitterly and said, “Your Majesty of East Coast, I swear I’m not lying! The villa is our leader’s residence; only his trusted aides can enter. Although I’m a branch head, I’m not valued by our leader and truly don’t know what’s inside.”
Chris frowned; this Flying Leopards leader seemed formidable. The villa housed their top personnel while this branch head clearly wasn’t important.
“Take him away!” Chris ordered without further ado.
“Mr. Shelby, what should we do now?” Bull asked cautiously.
Chris sneered and said, “What else? Order an all-out assault on the villa.”
“Yes!” With that command, remaining East Coast Securities members began storming the villa.
To their surprise, they heard fighting inside as they approached. Entering the villa revealed chaotic combat within.
“What is going on?” Chris wondered aloud. Could someone else be attacking the Flying Leopards?
He looked closer and saw thousands of elite Flying Leopards besieging two men-one fat and one thin-who fought fiercely despite being outnumbered. Both men were Transcendence realm practitioners; thus, ordinary Flying Leopards couldn’t handle them.
“Kill! Kill them all!” shouted an angry voice from within.
“They dared to kidnap me; I won’t let them go!”
“Hurry up! Hurry!”
