Audrey had always been very assertive. If it weren’t for Sirena constantly advising her to give Ulric some time, she would have already announced the engagement.
Seeing her son still silent, she issued an ultimatum.
“By the end of this year, you must be engaged! If you’re too busy with work, I’ll handle everything.”

In the hotel, Rosalind chatted with Tilda for a while before hanging up the phone.
After so many years of being busy, it seemed she rarely had moments of idleness.
Staring at the ceiling, she recalled Sirena’s words and her angry expression at the time, as if it was Sirena who had her father taken away from her since childhood, not herself.
The mother-daughter duo played the “thief crying thief” act quite well.
With a cold laugh, Rosalind picked up her phone and saw a voice message from Malcolm.
After hesitating for a moment, she decided to listen.
“Rosalind, good news! My friend has been helping you trace the number that called you that day. We’ve pinpointed that on that day, the signal from the number that called you came from the W Group building!”
“Really? That’s great.” Rosalind immediately sat up in bed. “In that case, I just need to find evidence of Sirena’s contact with Harmony Heights to prove that I was framed by her.”
“Yes, I’ve also been keeping an eye on things over there. As soon as there’s any news, I’ll let you know immediately.”
“Thank you so much!” Without his help, she wouldn’t have been able to do any of this.
Malcolm chuckled. “We’re friends! Seeing you wronged, how could I not help? Besides, it’s just a small effort.”
Rosalind knew that searching through such vast data and tracking someone’s IP wasn’t as easy as he made it sound. The effort and time invested were significant.
She owed Malcolm another favor…
Malcolm discussed his future plans with Rosalind. Although they couldn’t make Sirena confess herself, as long as more evidence pointed to her, Sirena wouldn’t be able to deny it.
They talked for a while until Rosalind’s phone was about to run out of battery.
She ended the call and noticed several voice requests and messages from Ulric on her WeChat home screen.
[Where are you?]
[I’m coming to find you.]
[Rosalind, who are you talking to?]
Looking at his messages and recalling Tilda’s advice, she decided to pretend her phone had died and didn’t see them.
After all, it was almost out of battery anyway.
Just as Rosalind sighed in relief and planned to get a good night’s sleep before going for the paternity test tomorrow, there was a sudden knock on her hotel room door!
Instinctively, she thought of Ulric.
But then she reconsidered, it couldn’t be him…
With so many hotels in Northville City, how could he find her so quickly?
“Who is it?”
Rosalind walked over and asked, but the person only knocked without responding.
She glanced through the peephole.
Who else could it be but Ulric?
“How did you… find this place…”
Opening the door, Ulric’s tall figure nearly filled the entire doorway. His dark eyes fixed accurately on her face, his usual stern expression in place.
“Did my mom say something to you?”
“No, nothing.” Rosalind forced a smile, trying to appear relaxed. “She doesn’t even know me, what could she say?”
“Did she say that Sirena is my fiancee?”
