Let’s end this,” she repeated.
George was speechless, he continued to stare at her, and she decided to blurt out the reason she suddenly wanted to end their relationship.
“You like her, don’t you? That’s the reason why Zack Anderson was furious.”
Now she understood why Ivy called him a pervert and why she intentionally hurt him during filming. “I was so blind. I thought you really loved me. I didn’t know you only wanted my pussy. Well, thank you for opening my eyes. I gave you what you wanted so let’s break up so you can go find some more good-looking pussy.” Inwardly, her emotions were swirling, threatening to leak to the surface, but she made more effort to conceal it. “I wish Ivy would have let Zack Anderson punish you.”
George couldn’t refute, he continued to stare at her without saying a word.
Some of the crew were still present, watching the scene in front of them. If it had happened before George and Zack Anderson’s case, they would have loved to gossip. Their relationship was old news. There was a more interesting topic to gossip about.
Anna gave him a look of disdain before walking out of the set in anger.
Meanwhile, Zack and Ivy had already left the set. The car was filled with silence, so Ivy decided to start a conversation.
“Thanks for picking me up today.”
There was no reply.
She chuckled, shaking her head. Her husband was always this unfathomable. It seems he knew the time she was in deep trouble, and he would always appear to help her.
His eyes were fixed on the window, gazing at the moving scenery. She cleared her throat to get his attention, but his gaze was still on the window.
She cleared her throat again, yet he didn’t move an inch. ‘Is he ignoring me?’ Obviously, he was, so she gave up. Then her eyes began to wander, staring at his pointed nose and chiseled jawline as her mind was in captive. Her gaze continued to travel down to his broad shoulders. She didn’t even realize she had moved so close to him until the smell of his perfume wafted into her nose.
‘What am I doing?’
She quickly shifted, but it was too late. Zack already caught her.
“You want something, wifey.” His deep voice made her jolt.
“No, no…” She averted her eyes immediately, inwardly berating herself for behaving out of control.
“I know you want something.” He smirked, inching closer. His nose almost touched Ivy’s before she moved backward. “I don’t want anything, just… what are you doing…” She nervously pushed him, but he didn’t budge. He continued inching closer until there was no gap between them. “Just say it, wifey.”
‘What is wrong with this man!’ she screamed inside her head. His warm breath brushed her skin, and it was making her extremely uncomfortable, worst of all, her heart beat. It was racing by the seconds. She was anxious about the ‘certain thought’ going on in his head.
“What do you want, Zack?” The smirk was still visible on his face, and it was sending a tingling sensation all over her. “Don’t turn the question around,” he whispered. Now Ivy was certain of the ‘certain thought’ going on in his head.
“Don’t be afraid, wifey, just say what you want.” His nose touched hers, and she could hardly breathe due to nervousness.
“I don’t want whatever it is you are thinking…”
“Stop pretending,” he cut her off; he tilted his head and brought his face closer, sniffing in her scent, his lips only an inch away from her neck.
She gulped. “Zack, please, I’m not ready yet.”
“Ready for what, wifey.” Ivy turned speechless.
The expression on her face made him chuckle. He sat back at his former position with a slight smile.
Then it occurred to her. “Were you teasing me?”
He didn’t reply. A tinge of embarrassment washed over her. Her mouth was slightly agape, staring at him. “You… you are so cruel.” She thought he was indirectly requesting his marital rights, but instead, he was teasing her, just like how he did on the day of their wedding.
“What did you gain by teasing me, huh.” She tried to hide her embarrassment, but it still appeared on her face.
Zack remained silent, gazing at the window as he didn’t do anything a moment ago.
“I said I won’t touch a woman like you,” he finally spoke after a few minutes.
“And what does that suppose to mean.” Ivy frowned; this was the second time he was saying that.
Zack turned to look at her. He was truly enjoying seeing her in that state. “Or do you want me to have se…”
“No!” She cut him off before he could say the word ‘sex.’ There was someone listening to their conversation in the driver’s seat. Her eyes caught Edmond peeping through the front-view mirror.
He huffed and crossed his arms. “Who would believe Zack Anderson is such a teaser.”
Zack chuckled. “I have always been like this.”
Ivy stared at him incredulously. “That’s so not true.”
She refused to believe that; he hardly smiled. The only expressions usually seen on his face were cold and fierce with a swirling intimidating aura that could make one shiver at the sight of him.
“Don’t ever tease me like that again.”
“I can’t promise that,” he responded.
She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came. She was defeated.
“Where are we going?”
It was 10 PM, and she was supposed to be resting, and they clearly weren’t going to the hotel. “Are you taking me home.”
“I thought you were hungry.” He replied, still gazing at the window.
She smiled; she really was feeling a little hungry. “I have a craving for Chinese food.”
As soon as she said this, Edmond announced. “We are here.”
The car stopped at a high-end restaurant, popular for serving Chinese dishes with their own unique presentation.
Seeing the name of the restaurant, Ivy looked at Zack in surprise.
“How could you guess I wanted to eat Chinese food.”
