Before Rosalind could react, Sirena saw Ulric and immediately reached out in pain.
“Ulric, save me… I’m… bleeding…”
Everyone’s eyes turned to Sirena, and sure enough, there were large patches of blood on her body, looking quite frightening.
Ulric immediately called for emergency services, then walked over and carried Sirena out of the office.
He didn’t say a word to Rosalind, not even a glance.
After they left, Sirena’s assistant hurried in, looked at the bloodstains on the floor, then at Rosalind, completely stunned.
What was going on? Was this a crime scene?
Rosalind hadn’t expected that just defending herself would lead to such severe consequences!
Clearly, it was Sirena who wanted to make the first move…
More and more people from the legal department gathered until Ulric’s personal assistant arrived. “Everyone, get back to work. Mr. Walters said this matter is not to be discussed! No photos or spreading information! Get back to work!”
After everyone left, he walked over to Rosalind and whispered, “Mr. Walters just called me. He wants you to go to Easthaven Bay after work to meet him.”
“… Okay.” She nodded but didn’t leave immediately. Instead, she took a tissue from the table and wiped the remaining bloodstains from Sirena off the carpet, then kept it.
Although Sirena’s words had already admitted the relationship, if it was to be used as evidence, it still needed to be in black and white.
She hadn’t forgotten her purpose for coming here.

At the hospital, Sirena was once again rushed into the emergency room.
Due to the surgical incision reopening, she lost a lot of blood and fainted in the ambulance.
Johnny had come straight from the hotel, clearly just having taken a shower and planning to do something with his new girlfriend. His hair was still wet, and his shirt buttons were misaligned.
“What happened? How did she suddenly lose so much blood?”
“I’m not sure either. She might have had some conflict with Rosalind.”
Ulric had been in meetings since he arrived at the company. When he learned that Rosalind was coming to work today, he immediately contacted Cedric’s office. When no one answered, he guessed that Rosalind might have gone to see Sirena.
As soon as he walked in, he saw that scene.
“What?! Rosalind again! Does she want to kill Sirena?” Johnny’s anger flared up. “Ulric, aren’t you being too much? This happened in your company, with your chief lawyer. You can’t just brush it off!”
“Rosalind didn’t do it on purpose.”
“Then what? On purpose?”
Ulric frowned deeply. “We haven’t understood the whole situation yet. I just sent Lawyer Reynolds to the hospital first.”
Johnny glared at him in frustration. In a heated moment, he said, “Fine, if you don’t understand, let the police investigate! Since you say Rosalind didn’t do it on purpose, call the police and let them investigate!”
He was about to take out his phone when Ulric snatched it away.
“Johnny, this is a company matter. You have no right to interfere.”
This was the first time Ulric had spoken to Johnny in such a tone. Despite their decade-long friendship and Ulric’s high status, he had never used such an oppressive tone before.
For Rosalind, he had broken many records.
Johnny heard Ulric’s cold warning and calmed down a bit, no longer shouting.
After a long silence, he sighed deeply. “Ulric, you really should have had enough. Have you thought about the consequences if this continues?”
