“Pretty lady, it’s not nice to curse. A woman as pretty as you shouldn’t use such vulgar language,” As he said that, he yanked Sophie towards him.
Her body slammed hard into his chest. And then he used this opportunity to embrace her tightly, taking in her pleasant scent.
It was a fragrance he had never smelled before.
Grinning with satisfaction, he said, “They say beautiful women smell good. Turns out they really do.”
This was his first time touching such a beautiful woman, and he was eager to proceed with his intentions.
“What are you doing? Let go of me!” Sophie struggled to break free from him, nearly falling to the ground.
The burly man laughed out loud at this scene. “You’re quite interesting, pretty girl.”
The old man’s eyes welled up with tears seeing this. He quickly said, “Thank you, Miss. I… I’ll just lick his shoes.”
Elderly people like him often preferred to avoid trouble, and the last thing this old man wanted was to get into trouble with someone like this burly man.
He didn’t have the money, but he could give up his dignity, which could really be worthless in front of oppression.
As he said that, the old man came down to the burly man’s feet, ready to really lick the shoes.
“Get lost!” The burly man suddenly lifted his foot, making the old man fall down backward.
Sophie quickly went to help the old man up and shouted at the burly man, “What are you doing? Is there something wrong with you?”
But he merely chuckled, walked towards Sophie and wrapped his arms around her waist in one smooth motion. He said laughingly, “Pretty girl, didn’t I just say? You owe me a good time. Look, now that I’ve touched and hugged you and you have gotten me all excited, you can’t just leave me hanging like this!”
Sophie felt as if there were insects crawling over her. She struggled, shouting, “You bastard, let go of me!”
But the more she struggled, the more excited the burly man was.
She couldn’t help but look to that cold-faced man for help, but he was still staring out of the window, as if completely unaware of what was happening on the bus.
Was he being a bit too pretentious, still looking at the scenery outside with all of this chaos inside? Was the view outside truly that beautiful?
What kind of man was him, without any sense of justice at all?
If they weren’t strangers, Sophie would have yelled at him.
But why would she expect any help from him? He hadn’t even looked at her once, so why would he help her? Besides, this burly man was clearly not someone she should mess with. Who would want to get into trouble with him willingly?
Sophie admitted that when she stood up to help out the old man, it was also partially to catch that man’s attention. Now, she realized her had miscalculated.
Whatever. He was just a pretentious coward!
Realizing this, Sophie gave up her hopes and turned back to the burly man, shouting, “What are you doing?”
The burly man had dragged Sophie to the bus’s exit door and yelled at the driver, “Stop the bus!”
In the midst of her struggle, Sophie managed to slap the burly man.
The slap stunned the entire bus into silence.
The burly man’s eyes widened in shock and rage.
“Did you just hit me?” He touched his face, asking indignantly.
Sophie shook her head, her voice trembling. “How can you do this in broad daylight? You were assaulting me, and I had every right to defend myself!”
The burly man sneered coldly. “Girl, you can hit me all you want, but you can’t refuse me!”
“Today, you are mine!” And then he pulled out a knife and said with a threatening smile, “If you try to run, I won’t hesitate to use the knife on you. It’s not like I’ve never used it before.”
Sophie froze, terrified by the sharp knife.
Seeing this, the burly man walked toward her, took her hand and held the knife on her face. “That’s right. Isn’t this nice? Why did you have to struggle?”
Sophie trembled with fear. She was just a student and had never experienced anything like this.
“Stop the bus!” The man shouted again.
The driver swallowed nervously and stammered, “Sir, it’s not safe to stop here… and besides…”
Before he could finish, the man turned the knife toward the driver and yelled, “Besides what? If you keep talking, I’ll stab you instead!”
At the sight of the knife, the driver went pale with fear. He didn’t dare to say another word and stopped the bus immediately.
Sophie suddenly came to her senses, her voice shaking as she shouted desperately, “Call the police! Someone, please call the police!”
She was terrified, finally realizing that the man wasn’t joking around.
But the passengers were all scared as well, staring at the knife in the burly man’s hand. No one was willing to risk their lives to help her.
The burly man scoffed at her words, threatening, “Call the police? Let’s see who has the guts! Anyone who tries will be the first one to bleed!”
“Hey!” Suddenly, the indifferent man stood up from his seat, his expression remained cold and emotionless.
“What? You want to get involved too?”
Kayden shook his head slightly and said, “I just think you’re being too loud. You shouldn’t be here anymore.”
As he said that, Kayden took several steps forward.
The burly man started shouting, “What the hell are you doing? Stop right there!”
Kayden just ignored him and continued to walk toward him.
In a desperate move, the burly man pressed the knife against Sophie’s neck and threatened, “If you come any closer, I’ll kill her!”
But in the blink of an eye, Kayden was already standing in front of him and had grabbed his wrist with a swift move.
The burly man shouted in pain, dropping the knife on the ground.
Kayden pulled Sophie behind him and then, without any hesitation, threw a powerful punch at the burly man’s face.
