Chapter 524: Unstoppable!

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-9-12

At Wesley’s command, the Black Miao warriors raised their Miao Blades and charged at Quentin, each one fierce and murderous.
Quentin said nothing, delivering a sweeping kick that knocked down several warriors, toppling those behind them.
A warrior attacked from the left, and Quentin’s heavy punch struck his chest.
The warrior, along with his blade, flew backward, crashing through the inn’s wall and falling onto the street outside.
Clutching his chest and spitting blood, the warrior died instantly, terrifying the passersby. The other Black Miao warriors who had been lying in ambush outside rushed into the inn.
The diners were petrified by the scene, as was the innkeeper. Was a war about to break out?
Eileen, noticing the commotion, rushed into the inn.
The stunned diners were now wide-eyed. Another beautiful woman had appeared?
On the top floor of the inn.
Quentin easily dealt with nearly half of the Black Miao warriors, leaving them writhing in pain on the ground. His attacks were fierce, and many were left severely injured.
The remaining warriors were shocked by Quentin’s strength, retreating in fear. Even if hundreds more came, they wouldn’t stand a chance against him!
Quentin took a step forward, causing the warriors to retreat further. Wesley’s heart pounded with fear.
At that moment, dozens more Black Miao warriors arrived, blocking Quentin’s escape route.
“Do not retreat! Attack! Anyone who retreats will be expelled from Black Miao Village!” Wesley shouted angrily.
As Chieftain, Wesley’s orders carried weight. Despite Quentin’s strength, the Black Miao warriors had no choice but to charge at him with their blades.
Quentin smirked and counterattacked, moving with the grace of a dragon and the power of a tiger. He either kicked or punched each warrior away.
“My lord!”
In the midst of the fight, the warriors behind Quentin were suddenly thrown aside. A woman in Miao Clothing broke through and stood beside him-it was Eileen.
Everyone gasped. How could such a delicate woman fight so well? And she called Quentin ‘my lord’? Was she also an outsider?
Quentin alone was already too much for them to handle; now there was another formidable fighter.
Quentin and Eileen, their expressions cold and murderous, continued their assault with swift and ruthless moves, beating down each warrior they encountered.
In just a few moments, they had easily defeated over a hundred warriors. The ground was littered with injured men and dropped Miao Blades.
Wesley and his leaders were dumbfounded. They had thought Quentin could at most handle a dozen men, but he and a single woman had effortlessly taken down over a hundred warriors without a scratch.
They were unstoppable!
Eileen stepped forward to untie Patriarch Rodney and Wizard Eric.
Quentin slowly walked toward Wesley, causing the other Miao Village leaders to cower in corners. Wesley’s scalp tingled with fear.
“Quentin, don’t do anything rash,” Wizard Eric said, blocking Quentin’s path.
“After all he’s done, you still want to protect him?” Quentin replied coldly.
“Quentin, he’s still the Chieftain of Miao Territory. If we harm him recklessly, we won’t be able to explain it!” Patriarch Rodney advised.
“They kidnapped Cerys and sent people to kill me!”
“Move aside! Anyone who tries to stop me will regret it!”
Quentin roared angrily, his expression icy. Seeing this, Wizard Eric and Rodney dared not intervene.
Quentin stood before Wesley and demanded coldly, “Where did you take Cerys?!”
Though his men were defeated, Wesley still held his pride as Chieftain. He sneered defiantly, “I don’t know. Even if I did, I wouldn’t tell you.”
“Slap!”
Seeing that Wesley wouldn’t cooperate, Quentin delivered a stinging slap to his face.
“Ah…!”
The slap twisted Wesley’s face, knocking out several teeth and causing blood to spill from his mouth.
Wesley clutched his face in agony, rolling on the ground in pain.
The other leaders shivered in fear. It was their first time seeing their usually high-and-mighty Chieftain in such a pathetic state.
“Will you talk or not?” Quentin asked with a chilling smile. Wesley was truly frightened now, his legs trembling uncontrollably.
“I’ll talk… I’ll talk…” Wesley stammered. “I had her taken to my son’s room…”
“What?!” Quentin roared furiously, his expression turning savage. His killing intent surged.
They had taken Cerys to Beckett’s room? That beast was worse than an animal. If they delayed any longer, Cerys would be in grave danger!
Seeing Quentin’s rage and murderous intent, everyone was terrified out of their wits.
“Lead the way! If you try anything funny, you’ll die!”
“Eileen, handle things here. I’m going to rescue Cerys.”
With that, Quentin grabbed Wesley and leaped out of the window from the top floor.
They landed on the street below, startling passersby. Wesley nearly fainted from fear as Quentin hurriedly dragged him toward Wesley’s home.
Inside the inn’s hall, the remaining warriors lay on the ground groaning in pain while the Miao Village leaders stood in shock at what had just transpired.
Was this outsider a monster? He had jumped from a knife ladder last time and now from the inn’s rooftop without injury. Could this woman be just as fierce?
“Ahmed! We need to settle today’s matter!” Wizard Eric said coldly to Elder Ahmed.
Ahmed was drenched in sweat. With Wesley captured and their plan against Quentin and White Miao Village failing miserably, they had also offended White Miao Village’s leaders.
“Wizard Eric, Patriarch Rodney, this is all just a misunderstanding…” Ahmed said with an awkward smile.
Rodney retorted angrily, “A misunderstanding? We’ll deal with you when we return to White Miao Village!”
“Since everyone is here, there’s something else I want to discuss!”
