Their hips were pressed tightly together, and Callie’s small face was pinched by him, forcing her to look up.
She closed her eyes tightly and heard him say, “Never before?”
She didn’t speak, just shook her head, and he let out a mocking laugh.
Feeling ridiculed, Callie turned to face him, cupping his chiseled face with one hand, her eyes filled with allure. “You’re really handsome. I guess I’m not losing out.”
The desire in Nelson’s eyes deepened, and his lips tightened.
She smiled even more brightly. “Do you want to kiss me?” Her soft fingertips traced his thin lips carefully. “I want to kiss you.”
The pressure of his hand on her waist increased, but his face instinctively pulled back.
Callie held his face again and stood on tiptoe to whisper in his ear, “Just like last time.”
She clearly saw the desire in Nelson’s eyes.
“This time, no one should interrupt us.”
His breathing slowed. “You think I don’t dare?”
Callie’s heart pounded like a drum. She was scared; Nelson was capable of anything. But if she backed down now, it would be much harder to seduce him next time.
She couldn’t afford to lose the upper hand.
She gently brushed her lips against his, speaking softly. “Mr. Oconnor’s kissing skills are so good. Last time, you made my legs go weak.”
The sweet scent of a woman filled his nostrils. Nelson let her kiss him, the veins on the back of his hand bulging. He maintained this for a minute until she suddenly licked him with her tongue. Instantly, as she tried to pull back, the pressure on her waist increased. He lowered his head and bit her lips in a kiss.
Electricity seemed to course through Callie’s body. She instinctively pushed him away forcefully, breathing heavily. She raised a finger to his lips. “My hair isn’t dry yet. If I leave it like this, I’ll catch a cold. Can you help me dry it?” She took out a hairdryer and handed it to him.
Her hands trembled slightly. She wasn’t sure if Nelson would stop at this point; she knew how relentless he could be.
Nelson looked down at her for a long time, the lust in his eyes fading somewhat. He was impatient but eventually took the hairdryer.
Callie sighed in relief, her arms covered in cold sweat.
Nelson’s technique for drying hair was gentle; he set the dryer to a warm temperature. Her hair was thick and took a while to dry. As the black strands lifted, her pale back became faintly visible.
Callie closed her eyes and relaxed completely. Having the executive of Oconnor Group bathe and dry her hair was something to be satisfied with, and he was quite skilled at it.
“Nelson, have you ever dried another woman’s hair?”
His voice was barely audible over the noise of the hairdryer. “That’s none of your business.”
Callie chuckled softly; he was still angry about her earlier reaction.
Soon, her hair was dry. He draped a bathrobe over her, wrapping her tightly. Nelson released her and said only two words: “Get out.”
Callie felt as if she had been granted amnesty but instinctively asked, “What?”
Nelson laughed in exasperation. “It’s my turn to bathe. Or do you want to join me for another round?”
Hearing this, Callie quickly ran out and thoughtfully closed the door behind her.
He stood there, closing his eyes as his temples throbbed. She was a seductress who loved to tease but hated taking responsibility.
Callie lay on the bed, inhaling Nelson’s scent.
The recent thrilling encounter still left her shaken. Just moments ago, she thought things were going to get serious. Being so close to him, she could clearly feel the changes in his body-undeniable and intense-making her tremble uncontrollably.
