Yayoi turned her head and looked at him, shaking her head gently. “No need. I can handle it myself.”
Morphy gave a silent smile, then stretched out his hands and embraced her from behind, his chin resting on her head. He said softly, “If you need my help, just let me know.”
“Okay,” Yayoi assented softly.
She did not want to cause him trouble. Even though they were a couple, she still had to draw a line somewhere.
“Yayoi,” he suddenly called out.
“Huh?” Yayoi turned her head sideways.
He lowered his head and conveniently kissed her lips.
It was destined to be a passionate, romantic morning.
As soon as Rosiley arrived at the company, she went straight to the CEO’s office without going to her own department.
The secretary saw her and smiled. “Deputy Manager Tang, the CEO and Miss An are already waiting for you inside.”
Rosiley returned her smile, pushed the door open, and entered the office.
On her way there, she had received a call from Yayoi. She had asked her to go straight to Morphy’s office as he had something to tell her.
When she pushed the door open and saw the couple embracing each other, she was stunned.
“What’s going on?”
“Rosiley.”
Yayoi left Morphy’s embrace, watching her good friend standing at the door.
Upon hearing her voice, Rosiley came to her senses and walked over quickly.
“Yayoi, did you ask me here to tell me this?”
Was she telling her that they were now together?
Rosiley was obviously displeased. Yayoi suddenly felt a little uneasy. She knew that Rosiley had not supported her relationship with Morphy all along. She also wanted her to stay away from Morphy as far as possible, to pre-empt any future hurt.
She knew Rosiley was only worried about her and being thoughtful.
But sometimes, one could not control one’s feelings.
Yayoi looked at Morphy beside her and he gave her an encouraging look.
She took a deep breath and pursed her lips into a smile. “Rosiley, Morphy and I have decided to be together.”
It was indeed the case!
“Have you thought it over?” Rosiley asked.
“Yes.”
“Even if there is no future for you two, you will not mind?”
“I have thought it over. Although the outcome is important, the process is even more so. As long as we are in love each day that we are together, that will be enough.”
Rosiley quietly looked at her determined expression. She really wanted to scold her for being silly, but seeing her high spirits, she could not bear to.
Love had always been between two people. How could an outsider like herself intervene? It was just like Yayoi had said. She only cared about their moments together and not the outcome.
She sighed softly. “It’s good that you’ve thought it through. I shall not comment on it.”
“Rosiley.” Yayoi went forward and hugged her. “I’m sorry, I know I have disappointed you with my decision, but I really can’t control my own feelings.”
Her voice seemed a little choked with emotion.
