Everyone stared at Connor. Some had already started to retreat, trying to sneak out of the Vincent family villa, even making it as far as the back door.
But as soon as they reached the doorway, they suddenly fell to their knees. Something had struck their kneecaps! Looking down, they saw marbles. Connor had flicked marbles from his hand, hitting those guys’ knees directly. Not only that, but the impacts drew blood – his flicking skill rivaled that of a bullet!
Those fellows’ knees were bleeding, and they fell to the ground, wailing in agony!
This scene made those who had planned to escape abandon the idea, each standing woodenly in place.
Now, they could only wait for death! Awaiting death’s arrival quietly!
At this moment, Connor had truly become a demon, pronouncing death sentences on everyone present!
The Boxing Champion was dead. No one else could fight Connor now. Were they about to die here?
Was there anyone left here who could deal with such a person? No, absolutely not!
This wasn’t human. How could any human possess such power? A man in his sixties, killing a man in his prime with one punch – and not just any man, but a boxing champion. Who would believe this story if it got out? No way!
Panic set in. Chaos erupted. Everyone began to lose control of their emotions!
Connor, expressionless, said to those lying on the ground, “Escape? You didn’t think I was joking earlier, did you? I said no one’s leaving!”
These words were like nailing the lid on everyone’s coffin, instantly chilling their hearts!
Connor turned to look at Coleman, then sneered, “Such soft punches, and he dared call himself a Boxing Champion? Is this the level of champions these days?”
Coleman spread his hands, his face grim. “Let everyone here go. This has nothing to do with them! This is a personal grudge between you and me. You can kill me, but don’t involve my family and friends.”
It must be said that Coleman’s willingness to take responsibility at such a moment showed he was a man who valued loyalty.
Connor laughed as if he’d heard the funniest joke, then his face darkened as he said coldly, “Old man, you’re in no position to bargain. Not just your family, everyone here must die!”
As he finished speaking, a wave of cold emanated from Connor’s body, instantly enveloping the entire Vincent family villa.
“You think you’re tough?” Eli suddenly raised a gun, pointing it at Connor.
It must be said, Eli was quite the daredevil, still having the courage to step up at a time like this. Everyone else had cowered, some hiding at the back, looking for a chance to escape! But Eli dared to step forward.
Eli had a rough past in society, otherwise he wouldn’t have known Boxing Champion Oscar! Stepping up at a time like this was purely out of that fighting spirit in his heart. Oscar was dead, and he couldn’t let that slide. Of course he had to step up and show his mettle.
Most rich people would cower in fear of death because they have too much to lose, fearing they’d have nothing after death.
But a rare few wouldn’t, like Eli. He wouldn’t cower in the face of death! Because he acted on passion alone, without considering matters of life and death. If he died, so be it. If he lived, it was just luck!
Eli was the kind of person who had lived his life this way, otherwise he wouldn’t be pointing a gun at Connor now.
“Oh?” Connor’s eyes held a hint of mockery as he asked, “You want to kill me?”
Eli gritted his teeth and replied without hesitation, “Your body might be able to take punches, but can it take bullets?”
Connor continued to smile coldly and said, “Well, you’re welcome to try!”
“BANG!” Eli fired without hesitation! The shot came swiftly! This was Eli, a man of action.
But Connor tilted his head and shifted his body slightly, and the bullet flew past him.
The bullet struck a wall heavily, causing sparks to fly and bits of brick to scatter.
Connor had dodged the bullet! He didn’t even jump, made no extra movements. Just a slight shift of his body, and he effortlessly avoided the bullet!
He could dodge bullets!
Everyone knew bullets were the fastest thing, at this distance it would have hit Connor in less than 0. 1 second. This speed wasn’t something a human should be able to dodge, even the animals with the fastest reflexes couldn’t avoid it, yet Connor dodged it!
“Holy shit!” Eli fumbled to pull the trigger again, trying to fire a second shot.
But his hand was suddenly struck by a flying marble, causing his gun to drop to the ground. Blood began to flow from his palm. Although it hurt, Eli didn’t cry out, maintaining his resolute demeanor.
Eli was interesting, and his performance caught Kayden’s attention.
Connor, his face full of killing intent, charged at Eli again. Eli’s face changed as he realized he might be about to die! Everyone prepared themselves to witness Eli’s death.
But at this critical moment, Kayden slowly moved a step, blocking Eli’s body with his own.
Connor’s eyes changed mid-charge, and then his hand seemed to hit something.
His body was then bounced back by this force!
What was originally a murderous charge suddenly turned into a retreat!
After landing on his feet, Connor staggered back several steps before regaining his footing.
“There’s a strong one!” Connor muttered to himself, never imagining there would be a hidden expert here. Moreover, this was someone who could project their inner force externally. What level had this person reached to have such powerful repelling force?
Connor suddenly raised his head to look at Kayden who wore simple attire and a stern look. He couldn’t see how this guy could be an expert.
Could it have been an illusion?
Eli couldn’t see anything special about the young man before him, so he didn’t believe what had just happened was the externalization of inner force his master had told him! He had only heard of it, never seen it. If he had seen it before, he wouldn’t have such doubts.
“Why are you blocking me?” Eli, standing behind Kayden, asked, not understanding the gravity of the situation.
Greedy Wolf glared at Eli and said, “If the Defender hadn’t stepped up, you’d be like this guy already.”
As he spoke, Greedy Wolf pointed at the Boxing Champion Oscar lying on the ground.
Eli’s heart trembled with fear for a moment, but he didn’t take it seriously. He didn’t understand inner force and didn’t believe this person standing in front of him had really saved his life. So he snorted coldly and said, “You think I’m afraid?”
Greedy Wolf just looked at him without saying a word.
