Annabella’s Point of View:
I couldn’t believe the news Megan had just announced.
I sat down on my bed, my three sisters around me. They looked at me with pitiful eyes, wondering what I was planning to do.
“I can’t believe mother agreed to an engagement party without allowing you to at least choose the type of gown you want!” Millen lamented with a carefree voice, and we all turned to look at her. If look could kill, she would have dropped dead at that very moment.
“Millen, is that what you are supposed to say? We should be comforting big sister not talking about her engagement party!” Megan scolded Millen with a grimace look on her face, but Megan shrugged her shoulders, uninterested in doing what was proposed.
I didn’t know what to say, and I kept mute, looking around. My head was still troubling me, and I felt dizzy and cold. The bitter taste from yesterday morning returned to my mouth, but I pushed it all aside, assuring myself that it was the aftermath of the alcohol I took, and that I was just having a hangover.
“Wait, wait! Don’t let us get scared! We might just be over thinking things.
I am sure no engagement party was planned. Also, sister Megan is not certain, she just guessed!” Mira chipped in, trying to make me feel better.
I turned to face her; placed my hands under my chin, and carefully thought about what she had just said.
“You are right!” I commented, nodding my head, and my three sisters were happy that I was thinking positively.
“In that case, how about we call Rachel, she will surely know what is going on!” Megan suggested it to me, and I agreed with her suggestion.
Mira took my phone from the side table and handed it to me.
“Thanks!” I mumbled appreciatively, and quickly went through my contacts. I had three missed calls and four messages from Logan. The heading was, ‘I am going on a trip to…’, but I wasn’t able to see the remaining, and I didn’t bother to open it because I had more pressing matters to attend to.
I dialed Rachel’s number, and she picked it immediately.
“Hey, my super star, how are you doing? And how are my three ‘M’ babies?” She asked with a cheerful voice, and I sighed in relief.
Millen wanted to drag the phone from me and answer her, but I quickly shifted away from her side.
“Morning big sis. Everyone is fine, I guess.” I replied curtly. “A quick question though, do you know if my parents and the hunter’s organization are planning any surprise?” I asked with a guarded voice, not wanting to tell her what was really happening.
“What do you mean? What kind of surprise could they possibly be planning?” Rachel asked with a sarcasm filled voice, and I turned to look at Megan, my eyes asking her if I should tell Rachel the true story.
“Oh, oh, is today your birthday?” Rachel suddenly exclaimed with a loud shrilling voice and burst into laughter. “Just joking, I remember that your birthday is still a few months away!”
“Fine! I mean is my mother planning a surprise engagement party for me?” I asked the question that was on my mind, and my sisters encouraged me with their curious glares.
Rachel kept quiet for a minute, and this bothered me. After a while, she continued with a very low voice. “What is the date? I will be there.” She whispered and burst into another round of taunting laughter.
I knew she was just messing with me. If my parents did plan something like that, she wouldn’t tell me because she was my mother’s perfect little sister. I cut the call and angrily stood up.
“Hey sister, that was harsh! You should have at least listened to what she wanted to say!” Millen whined with a gentle voice, but I ignored her.
My temper had risen just like when I was with the ‘Super Mom’ and I didn’t want to yell at my sisters. I quickly went to my room to take my bath.
I was angry with my parents, but I made up my mind to travel to Saga City, and face my fear.
A lot of strange things had been happening, I knew it was high time I stopped shying down like a coward.

Adriel’s Point of View:
“Okay, that’s the last bag needed!” Lily informed me with a melancholic voice as she dropped my luggage inside my car’s trunk {booth}. I nodded my head at her, and gave her a little smile.
Beside her was Roseline, Lora, and the remaining members of VAMP. They all looked sad, but were good at hiding their feelings.
“Be careful bro, I heard that the hunters are dealing with vampires and other supernatural creatures, so you have to mind what you eat, touch, and fuvk.” Micheal informed me with a calm voice, and we both burst into laughter.
“Don’t worry, I won’t die so easily.” I replied with a gentle smile on my face.
“You bet! Nothing can kill this elder vampire! I am the only one that knows his weakness!” Vagon boasted, and I couldn’t contain my laughter.
I hugged each of them, the last person I hugged was Philious.
“Protect everybody, and please don’t argue with Vagon. It’s a waste of time if you keep arguing with a certified arguer!” I whispered into his ears playfully, and we both laughed.
Vagon squinted his eyes at me and nodded his head. “I heard what you said, but since it sounded more of a praise than an insult, I will let it slide!”
We all laughed at one another, and I looked at them with a grimace on my face before entering the car.
“Hey Adriel, don’t forget to protect little Mark, and please advise him to come back home with you!” Vagon yelled as I entered the car, and a bitter smile settled on my face.
I closed the car door, and took a deep breath, “Saga City, here I come!”
