Author’s Point of View:
Queen Adora didn’t reply to Lola, she acted like she didn’t hear her, and a smirk appeared on her face.
“I would like to have a conversation with the Dai’s, meaning my grandchildren and sons; so if you are not one of them, leave!” She announced with a grimace on her face, and turned to face Quinn.
“And Quinn since you are married to a Dai member, I am sure you know you’re needed in this conversation?”
Lady Quinn spit on the floor and raised her head high. A deep frown was on her face, and she felt insulted that the members of her family ‘Lupa’ were treated as strangers.
Philious, Michael, Vagon, Roselian, Lola, Priya, Gazelle, Edward, Benson, and three other Lupa’s looked at each other wondering who was supposed to leave first.
Rose Rollo on the other hand ran to stand beside Queen Adora, a little smile on her face.
“What are you waiting for? Get out!” Rose Rollo yelled at the confused people, and this angered Lola, she stood up, heading for the door.
“Who gave you the permission to leave, daughter?” Lady Quinn’s husky voice thundered at Lola, and she quickly stopped in her tracks. She smiled broadly, impressed at her mother’s behavior, and bowed apologetically.
Everyone was surprised, and murmuring filled the room as everyone knew what would happen next.
“No one leaves this room except I order them to!” Lady Quinn’s order, and stood up, she walked towards the queen menacing and burst into evil laughter. “You are in my house, this is Lupa’s palace, and here I am the queen!”
“Such audacity! At first when I entered and heard that someone called my name, I thought the person was a servant who didn’t know their place, but now I am convinced that the servant needs to be taught who is the leader!” Queen Adora said with a clam voice, her eyes were burning with anger.
And everyone watched as the two women growled at each other angrily.
“I sense confrontation! I am just a seer, I don’t have physical supernatural powers like the rest of you, so I better use the door before it is too late!” Gazelle whispered to Adriel, and before he could reply to her, she winked her eyebrows and left the room hastily, making sure that no one noticed her.
The confrontation between the two women still continued, and no one was ready to bow to the other.
“Sit down Quinn Lola Lupa!” Queen Adora commanded, calling Quinn by her full name. But Quinn’s face hardened.
“And why should I?” Quinn Lupa asked in-between gritting teeth, she looked furious, because this was happening in front of her nemesis, Rose.
“Because you are an obedient dog, and you will listen to your master, which is me!” Queen Adora replied, smiling mischievously.
“Everyone present in this room belongs to me, and if you want my children to stay, then Michael, Philious and Lola must be included!” Lady Quinn demanded with a twisted face.
“No, Michael doesn’t belong to the Dai, I doubt he is a member of the Lupa’s family.
Lola is a bastard, born to a dead man, and Philious, well you know, he was born a human, then turned into a vampire, meaning he is a slave, and I don’t want to be in the same room with a lowlife slave!” Queen Adora replied, a taunting evil smile was on her face.
Before Quinn could reply, Lola growled and jumped at Adora, her claws threatening to scratch the middle aged woman’s face, fortunately, Rose Rollo stood in front of Adora, and the soldiers that came with her quickly mobilized themselves.
“Quinn, call your daughter in order before I do the needful!” Queen Adora warned with a threatening voice, but Quinn hissed and turned her face away, leaving Lola to do what she liked.
“She is a full grown woman, I doubt she needs to be called into order!” Quinn replied after a momentary silence, and Lola growled at Adora, shining her fang.
Lily on seeing that her grandmother was murmuring a spell quickly ran to the middle.
“Grandmother Adora, please don’t hurt sister Lola, I will call her in order!” Lily begged her grandma, and Lola furrowed her brows in surprise.
“Go and sit down little sister, let me teach this old fool the right way to talk to a legend who died protecting his family!” Lola yelled, pain filled her voice, and she looked like she would burst into tears.
Unfortunately, what they didn’t know was that while they were talking, Adora winked at Rose menacingly.
Rose pushed Lily to the floor like a ferocious beast, and some part of her body turned into a wolf. She used her claws to scratch Lola’s face. Blood began to gush from the poor lady’s face, and everyone was taken by surprise.
A war broke out between the two ladies, each of them glaring and hitting themselves.
Queen Adora watched everything with a gleaming light in her eyes.
Quinn felt the need to intervene, but she didn’t, because she wanted to prove that her daughter could defeat anyone.
Lily stood up from the floor hurriedly and wanted to assist her sister in the fight. She knew that Lola was not a good fighter because she didn’t practice with them during training.
On the other hand, Rose Rollo was an experienced hybrid, and she would be able to defeat Lola easily.
She got caught between the fight, and ended up injuring herself. Rose, who had been looking for ways to prove that she’s better than the Lupa’s, used all her energy to fight.
“I can’t believe this is happening! A full grown woman is acting like a child? Is this what this family is all about?” Lora, Adriel’s second sister yelled at the top of her voice. But no one answered her.
Adriel had made up his mind not to intervene because it was like a child’s play to him, and he had serious things to worry about, but when he saw that his younger sister would get beaten up, he decided to stop it at once.
But, he wasn’t the only one with this intention, before he could take a step, Lora and Liam stepped out.
Liam used all the force he could gather to push Rose to the floor, taking her by surprise.
Logan, who had been watching everything with a bored expression, immediately stood up, ready to fight.
Thankfully, Lora held him back.
Lola was covered in her own blood. During the fight, she didn’t try to protect herself, she kept fighting like an amateur.
Lily sat down beside her, her face ruined with the mark of claws. Roseline ran to her side to help her up.
Lola looked like she wasn’t done with the fight and she tried to initiate another one by running towards Rose Rollo, but Lora held her back.
“That’s enough Lola! Get your shit together, you are not a child! Stop endangering your little sister!” Adriel ordered with a husky voice, he wasn’t smiling, and Lola immediately bowed her head.
When no one was watching, she turned to look at her mother, and they both smiled at each other, happy that their plan was going according to the script.
But little did they know that they weren’t the only ones whose plan was working out perfectly, the queen looked impressed, and she burst into laughter.
“That was a good show to watch.” Queen Adora said, laughing hysterically.
She suddenly frowned, and her face turned serious. “Where is the rogue hunter? We should head out to Saga City now?” She announced, not caring that one of the travelers, Lola, wasn’t in a good shape, and her wounds might alert the hunters.
“Grandmother Adora–”
Before Adriel could complete his sentence, Faya Lupa, Quinn’s younger sister and Philious’s teacher entered, looking as graceful as ever.
