Yayoi frowned and asked, “Rosiley, will Rorey really give up so easily?”
Rosiley smiled and shook her head. “No, she won’t. Given her personality, she will most likely be discussing how to deal with me with Yunis right now.”
“So what? We’ve never been afraid of them. Now, we’re even less likely to be afraid.” Ying Xiaoxiao’s face was full of indifference. Thinking of the loathsome couple that was Rorey and Yunis, she found herself nauseated even mentioning their names.

She had been around when Corey had asked Xiaoxiao out for a date. But back then, it seemed…
She furrowed her brows as Xiaoxiao continued. “I arrived on time for the date and he made me wait for more than an hour. He didn’t pick up my call during this time. Do you girls know what happened in the end?”
Rosiley and Yayoi both shook their heads, indicating that they did not.
“He came with another girl, and she was his blind date!”
Ying Xiaoxiao gnashed her teeth, speaking hatefully. She glared resentfully in Corey’s direction.
As if sensing something, Corey turned his head and met her furious eyes. His slender brows raised and there was a faint, almost imperceptible smile on his lips.
Ying Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes directly at him and turned away.
Corey could not help but laugh. Why was she so adorable when she was angry?
Seeing his smile, Morphy followed the direction of his gaze. The three women in the lounge were chatting enthusiastically, as if nothing was the matter.
“Yao, what are you smiling at?” Morphy lifted his wine glass and took a sip, pretending to ask casually.
“Oh, nothing,” Corey replied with a smile, saying nothing more.
Morphy did not pursue the question. He sipped his wine as he looked at the other side of the lounge. He did not know what they were chatting about. Yayoi was smiling most delightedly, looking as carefree as before.

He retracted his gaze, lowering his eyes slightly to conceal the loneliness in them. He then raised his head and downed all the wine in his glass.
When Ying Xiaoxiao told them that the girl was Corey’s blind date, Rosiley could not help but ask, “Did he take you out so as to ruin his blind date, pretending that you were his girlfriend?”
Ying Xiaoxiao widened her eyes in surprise. “How did you know?”
Rosiley spread out her hands. “That’s what happens in TV dramas.”
Yayoi, who was listening next to them, could not help but laugh out loud. She seemed so happy.
“So the inspiration for all those clichéd dramas come from real life?” Yayoi could not help but sigh.
Hearing this, Rosiley and Ying Xiaoxiao both glanced back at her, then they looked at each other and burst out laughing.
