Rorey was driven out of the Ji family’s villa.
Quinta Qin had made up her mind to be cruel. She ordered the servants to throw out all of Rorey’s things and throw Rorey herself out of the villa too.
“Rorey, henceforth you will have nothing to do with the Ji family and Yunis. Run as far as you can.”
The automated copper-colored gate of the villa closed slowly, accompanied by Quinta Qin’s cold voice.
Rorey, lying on the ground, turned and looked at the tall figure inside the gate. Her eyes were full of disappointment.
From the beginning to the end, he had never said a word on her behalf. He was watching coldly as Quinta Qin drove her out. Even if she were to cry and yell, “Yunis, I don’t want to leave you. I love you,” he would be unmoved.
A man could be so terrible when he was heartless.
She laughed in self-mockery. Her tears flowed like pearls from a broken string.
Within a day, her world had turned topsy-turvy.
She had thought she would inherit the Group, marry into the Ji family, and become Yunis’s wife as planned.
It was a foolish dream. Time for her to wake up!
She hated them!
She hated Quinta Qin!
She hated Yunis!
She hated everyone who had hurt her!
But most of all, she hated Rosiley!
If it weren’t for Rosiley, she would not have ended up in this state.
It was all Rosiley’s fault!
Her tears suddenly stopped. She clenched her fists tightly, her eyes surging with intense hatred.
She gnashed her teeth. “Rosiley, I won’t let you get away with this!”
“You have to remember that Rorey is your daughter. Do you want your daughter to lead an unhappy life?”
“My daughter? Xenia Zhao, did you ever let me see Rorey before? You even wanted me to forget her as a daughter, so what’s happening now? Will you remember me when you encounter a problem?”
“Diego Xue, do you think I want to look for you? If it weren’t for Rorey, I wouldn’t want to see you again for the rest of my life.”
Xenia Zhao’s face was frosty. Her cold eyes glared at the man sitting in darkness.
The man shot up and dashed towards her in one stride, raising his hand to pinch her chin. Under the light that shone through the window, the scar on the man’s face—from his brows to his lower jaw—was clearly visible at a glance.
It was startling and ghastly!
Xenia Zhao could not help her body trembling. This man was far scarier than she had thought.
“Xenia Zhao, I can make you not see me again in your life.” The man’s eyes were full of a bloodthirsty coldness.
The hand pinching her chin moved down and throttled her neck, his fingers gripping forcefully.
Xenia Zhao immediately felt her breath become stifled. She stared with wide, horrified eyes as she struggled.
Her hands grabbed that hand which had been throttling her, trying to pry it apart with all her strength, but he was far stronger than her. She could not even move it an inch.
Just when she was going to die, that man loosened his grip and she immediately dropped to the ground.
“Cough, cough…” Xenia Zhao coughed violently as she held her neck.
“I will help Rorey. As for you, I don’t want to see you ever again. Get out of my sight!”
Xenia Zhao did not even have time to breathe easily as the man’s voice trailed away. She crawled up with her hands and legs, staggering out.
“Lord Gang, do you really want to help her?” A man who had been hiding in the darkness walked out.
The man glanced at him and said in a icy tone. “There are some things you shouldn’t ask.”
The man was stunned and quickly bowed his head. “I shouldn’t have been so inquisitive. Please accept my apologies, Lord Gang.”
“Go to Benin first and do all you can to help them,” the man said as he sat back in the dark corner.
